$2000 more than the Can Am, the AC can stay in the showroom.
    Thanks for the great review.

US listing price (not dealer price) AC 11.599.- canam 10.549.- - the canam listed as 700 is a fake 650 ;-) - a comparsion would be great- havent seen right now...!?

Right but have you had a new Can-Am ATV? They are complete trash. Worst build quality I've ever had the misfortune of dealing with.

Not sure what he's talking about but cat has been building there own motor since 2005 and the 700 is a cat motor

Cat built them in house, I'll give you that and it's fact. The desing is Kymco from the info I got directly from Kymco. They've always been hush hush about it but when I asked Cat directly, they never denied it. I'm not the type to make up stuff for clicks or views.
I like to be precise when I say stuff. @@micheldore1373

Id love to try the regular 600 model, seems like a nice trail ripper, spunky for a single cylinder motor.

It's pretty good. I rode the Alterra 600 lasr spring and it's great on tighter trails, woods etc... In the 600cc field itdoes very well performance, suspension and comfort game.

You can see all the other info on that speedometer by holding the 2 buttons until you see the change. Like the air temp, tps, coolant temp, exhaust temp, etc. should show anyways. I'm a die hard arctic cat man and glad to see cat still making smh coming up wuthering best & awesome rides ever!

If you can get a good deal, I have to say that is pretty damn fun and much better build then the previous models. VERY competent ride. (This coming from a Can-Am mud guy)

      @NorthGaLife 10 місяців тому +3

@ATVGUYS I'm also a canam guy. But loved the TRV limited I got also a year ago.
I was able to get a quote for a out the door price of $11,800 USD for a Black Hills Edition at a dealer in Kentucky.
The only atv I have not been happy with is my 2023 Polaris Sportsman xp1000 wit Ride Command. I only have 15 hours on it, but I like the ride and size of the Arctic Cat TRV better.
I should have got the Outlander 1000 Maxx or Outlander 6x6.

...i really like the look of the new mudpro- HP numbers are just numbers- my old tuned 650 is faster then many modern 700s- its all about the right clutching- gears- exhaust etc- bring down the power- but 600 is 600 no matter how well tuned from factory- but i think its minimum as good as all the other thumpers and also like the new canam single....btw im allright with minimum displays- time , speed thanx- no need for computergames- when its overheating you will know it- and if i have to go- i go no matter what...btw- kymco made ONLY the 700 2cyl on the wildcat sport and trail- ALL other H1 singles and the famous H2 1000 were made in usa- that was a main reason for me to buy arctic cat- no need for chinese crap ;-) my 650 has 20.000kms on the clock and my 1000 wildcat 10.000- and i trust these motors- just treat them good- best oil etc.- cheers

Thanks for your comment, I appreciate intelligent and respectful folks. The H1 from the info I've gathered over the years was co developed with kymco and assembled in the US, so, for me, it's a Kymco with a US flag slapped on it (take a lok at the Kymco 700 that equips their ATV line, you'll get it). Was not a bad engine as it was reliable bur never had the oomph to compete with other 700 cc class singles in raw power. This new engine trumps the 700 hands down and for me, it's a gamechanger for Arctic Cat. I'm really hoping they pull out of their slump because as an enthusiast, the promises made when Textron bought the Cat house were never honored.
They have the potential and the money to be a contender in the Off Road ATV/UTV game... I'm just waiting to see... But I am getting more white hair so I won't hold my breath. It's going in the right direction now I think but not fast enough.

didnt know the h1 history with kymco- yeah its a shame they dont sell this new 600s here in europe- as midium sized thumpers are the big hit here- and youre right the textron deal brought nothin- the wildcat lineup is a choke- remember 10 years ago the shock the market with the famous wildcats... i also hope theyd make a nice comeback ;-) greets

Arctic cat has also used a lot of Suzuki type engine designs in sleds don’t make them Suzuki’s lol ,I’ve walked through the plant in thief river falls Minnesota and watched the H1s being built from nothing Def way more of a AC engine Arctic cat is even hatched into the cylinder kinda like Suzuki use to do with the 500s

I’ve looked into this and found a couple kymco 700s to look at in person they are different engines water pumps and oil filters locations are not even in the same places. Not even close to the same belt cases .The cylinders have different plating and are not made of the same material. Kymco made some engines for Arctic cat but the 700 h1 is not one of them . I was able to find the old list from Air dam a big name in the AC world ,366 450 and 500 after a certain year were made by kymco..The 450 and 500 kymco looked very similar to eachother. Arctic cat made and hand built the 550 650 700 H1s and 1000h2 engines in house .These engines all looked very similar and share more similar traits in appearance.the h1 engines look a lot like the old Suzuki Vinson engines it looks like that was the design they built these motors on

Dam bud you don't really have a clue what you're talking about. Arctic cat was 100% AMERICAN MADE the 550, 650, 700 and the massive 1000 was all American made. The wildcat trail and sport 700 parallel twin was intact built by kymco.
Arctic cat alone invented the Mud pro package, the first to introduce such a build to the world. They were the first to introduce the 1000 to the world as well.
In 2007 all the 4x4 manufacturers were supporting a big racing series championship, guess who won? Arctic cat was ONLY running their 650 single against can ams big twins, Polaris bigger engines Yamaha he'll everyone and absolutely NOTHING can keep up to a real man that has the balls to truly unleash the fullower of a big Arctic cat, Arctic cat was completely UNDEFEATED!!
CanAm was Arctic cats only so called competition, but can ams are so weak compared to Arctic cat that they'd always break down and need new frames and engines....Arctic cat raced the entire season with a SINGLE BACKUP WHEELER!! Yet always won the race and always won the season.
Text-only bought out Arctic cat some years ago, they squeezed the company for everything they were worth, but they seem to be coming back in full power finlly
