I admire people who dare to be vulnerable. It reflects the power of their character. Very valuable information, thank you Adam and Jeff and good luck in perfecting your aircraft. But for all I wish you many safe flights and a lot of fun making and flying and thanks for the effort you made to share this information. Have a nice day and greetings from The Netherlands. ;)
I'm building a 750 STOL. Kinda wish the directions were better. Some pics are 8-12 years old. I've had to tear several things apart because I got things out of sequence. I started the third week of Feb. 2020. I have the Viking engine on, and am ready to put on the wings, tail, etc. Already assembled. It's been an EXPERIENCE.
The 500+ hours you totaled up in this video, were those individual man hours or you and your dad working together?? There is a huge difference if you are.
That's a good point. I don't think it would be quite that much, but certainly a portion of those hours, especially in the first 6 months, could be doubled to reflect both of us working at the same time.
"How am I going to get out of it? I'm going to build my way out of it!" That was a great line! And not just for building a plane!
Agreed! Perseverance is not as common as it once was.
My son and I are starting our Zenith 750 Super Duty this weekend. Thanks for all the videos. It will help us in our build.
That's great! Best of luck! What engine are you using?
@@jeffandadambuildazenith6816 We are looking at the Viking 180 or Superior XP320

You got a lot done for 504 hours. It is coming along nicely. Keep it up, and good luck. The wings should go a lot faster.
Good going Jeff.

Did you end up finishing Alan? im at a similar piece, about to order the viking
You don't build a kit airplane for the speed of it, you build for the love of it.
dont forget the hours to build the garage first :)

Okay, so when you say 504 hours is that “man hours” So if you and your dad spent 1 hour in the shop does it count in the 504 as 1 or 2?
Adam, where did you get your A&P training?
this isnt the quick build kit is it ,,,there saying 300 hours for the super duty ,no drilling ? seems like a lot of hours
Would you say that as there are two of you working that actual man hours might be more like 1000? Just curious.
