Those push lights are a GAME CHANGER. Our closets don’t really have lights either (aside from one walk in closet). They’re really bright too! I also love their shelf liner (especially the faux marble, but it’s non-adhesive so be sure to secure it!), and also when they release the seasonal colors on their storage bins. I went a little crazy when they offered the light gray bins a few months ago, and really wish they’d keep that color permanently! The organizer trays with the nonslip bottom are great too, and so are the clear bins they sell in the cosmetic aisle. Two of my ride or die items though...the Wet N Wild makeup brushes (decent quality and cruelty free!), and the LA’s Totally Awesome cleaner, which is non-toxic and works on almost anything.
I have those cutting boards too. I use them in the kitchen or as a cutting board when crafting. I also use DT lens cleaner. An 8 oz bottle. I use it on my phone and tablet as well as my spectacles. 🥽👓
Got the slides in pink 2 weeks ago for a hospital stay after surgery, hoping to toss them after if they were like the “flops” lol and to keep the germs at the hospital ! I got soooo many compliments on them by the nurses and staff -ended up keeping them after the stay -sprayed them down -can even be machine washed on gentle which I plan to do -and they are my go to now to hit the outside even to my MD appointments-sooo comfy and cute 😊
I've bought the flip flops last year to use for yard work that lasted all summer no problems not bad for 1 dollar for years work never fell apart... surprised.. another product ppl don't talk about its the microwave cover its awesome.. saves scrubbing the microwave and they hold up.. one of the best kitchen gadget in the kitchen
I am convinced that all of the mismatched "extra" socks we find while doing laundry turns into the lids that don't fit any of the food storage containers that we have. Its some sort of weird vortex...
I Put All My Socks in a Zipper Topped "Mesh Bag"... Toss it into the washer, then the Dryer....And 'Vualaa' (spelling? LoL!) NONE of my socks have been gobbled up by the "Dryer Monster!!" 👿
I have about 5 dollar trees easily accessible to me. In a year, so far, I have yet to find the push lights in any of them. I asked the staff and they tell me that they don't get them in anymore.
I use the small red colander from the kitchen section every day. I keep it in my sink to catch food garbage that’s too big for the disposal-peelings etc. When I’m done cutting things up or peeling stuff, I dump the contents into the compost bin. Using a colander means I don’t dump a bunch of water in with the food waste.
Walmart has “shoes storage” boxes that actually work for under a dollar. They work amazing, I don’t use them for shoes, I use them for batteries, paint, scissors, glue, tape and stuff like that. They would totally work for shoes though, the lids are made stronger and the box is a lot better then the dollar store ones.
They can make great reusable gift boxes, too. Pick a multi-seasonal wrapping paper (or several layers of tissue paper-takes a while but can really look pretty), mod podge, let dry, add packing tape to seal. :)
Just moved into a new place that has a refinished tub so I can only use dawn to clean it. I got the dish wand from dollar tree to keep in the shower for quick easy cleaning and it's so awesome. Then I saw you do it too lol. Great idea for anyone who wants to try it.
I recently discovered the joys of the LED push lights! 🤗 I have them under my kitchen and bathroom sinks. I even put one on the wall near my bathtub for reading! 😆😆
I love the small silicone utensils. Use them a lot and keep some in our camper. Hubby said I didn't need those, au contaire. And that's one reason I don't take him to the DT with me anymore, lol. I've never seen the drawer organizers, darn. Great tips👍
LOVE the cleaning vinegar. Not sure if there was actually a difference between it and regular white vinegar, I researched and learned that cleaning vinegar is more acidic making it... uh...vinegar-y-er.
@@smoaro6451 yeah I’m pretty sure it’s just vinegar with the word “cleaning“ put on the label.😄I have never tried it on a salad or anything but it smells the same.
I will forever appreciate you Kallie. You've helped my family a lot, since the pandemic till now your advices and lessons are inspirational and helpful to us. My husband and I have been able to be minimal, conscious in spending, saving and lnves, ting wisely. We have been able to earn on a weekly basis and it helps the family a lot. You're such a blessing to this generation. We all love♥️😊

Love the idea of the dish wand to clean a shower! I'd like to try it on the clear plastic shower curtain as the biggest challenge to clean, it's like cleaning a moving ghost.
I place My Curtain Rod in My Bath Tub with Hot Water & Dollar Trees Bleach, tighten the Rod on the inside of Your Tub, do not put the Rod & Curtain Hooks into the Water They might Rust, Soak for a couple of hours and Rinse This not only Clean it but it Disinfects it too!!
I throw my plastic shower liners in the washing machine with just hot water and no detergent. I pour in some white vinegar or the DTs OxyBooster. Don't dry! Just pull them out of the washer and hang back up
My hubby once asked for a package of those black metal binder clips. Once home, I took them into our home office, he snatched them from me, went in the kitchen removed everything from the pantry that had a plastic chip clip and replaced it with those! Said he couldn't take another chip clip breaking. Brilliant huh? DT has a pack of 10 or 12 I think. You really don't need the big over sized ones, roll the bag then secure with these clips. The strength/ tension will stay closed no matter the size of the package. SO many other uses for them.
Plastic baskets for cabinet storage and organization, vacuum-sealed storage bags, Scotties tissues, gray and black mats for under armchairs on wood floors (also for baskets of kid crafts under the couch - they slide out and tuck away easier), dog mats for kid crafts (keeps beads from rolling away - my kiddo doesn’t like to use trays), craft jars for storing objects for discovery (rocks, beads, gems, trinkets).
The bag clips are cute, however I use the wooden clothes pins from dollar tree which are much cheaper than the cute bag clips. The clothes pins come in a pack of 50 I think for one dollar
lol i use my big hair clips... the ones that you squeeze and you can just twist your hair up quickly and clip it up in 10 seconds! I usually have one in reach so I just grab it. I buy them and they are never as good as my last one for my hair so I end up with all these hair clips and they haven't ever punctured the bag or anything (yes they have been cleaned!) I used clothes pins until one of my birds decided that clothes pins were an amazing toy to shred up (which is good for birds to do) so I buy them the big packs of clothespins and stick em all over their cages and toys and such and let them make a mess with something far cheaper than jenga blocks! I don't know your financial status but I've never had money, yes enough to get by, but using things for different purposes and reusing things has always been part of my life and I am so grateful for that now! It saves me so much money I don't have (so i guess allows me to be debt free?) while still having a functional home :D
@@itouchten Same here! I love the binder clips because they have an incredibly strong grip (much better than the bag clips) _and_ they can be put in freezers (most plastic becomes brittle if it's left in the freezer). Also, because the metal parts you squeeze fold down, they are very box friendly. Every time someone sings the praises of Dollar Tree's bag clips, I always leave a comment to the effect of 'Never use them! Buy a 10 pack of binder clips instead and here's why!'
I love how you get right to it. No wasted time. All of your ideas are practical, and I put many into use right away. Thanks a million. I feel so much more organized, and it's amazing that I feel so together!! Believe it or not, it spills over and gives me clarity in my day. 👍👍
One thing that I LOVE are the glass bowls with the lids. I use these for everything! I have 6, they get used everyday. Store your leftovers in these and reduce your plastic use. 😁💜
Gosh I love Dollar Tree and I love watching videos about it! I added a couple of your suggestions to my list but I love that they have some (less expensive) cosmetic brands! LA Girl palettes and lip items are anywhere from $4 - $7 at Ulta! And since I use lip balm so many times every single day, I just get whatever brand from Dollar Tree and put one in practically every room - no really, I mean every single room now that I think about it. Every time I go in there it never fails to amaze me what they've added to their inventory!!
And nail stuff! Polish and remover and I just found some cuticle oil at my Tree that is absolutely wonderful. I rubbed it into my my cuticles every time I went into the bathroom for one day and by evening time my cuticles were super soft and very push-back-able and my nails looked great t' boot! Gonna get a couple more bottles nest time I'm there cuz sometimes stuff runs out and doesn't get restocked.
I agree I love all they have added they are really stepping up their game. I love DT but so jealous of people that have the Super DT. We don't have them where I live boo hoo
Good suggestions, Kallie. I don't know what vinegar costs in your area, but here in Texas it runs about $3.69 per gallon, making it cheaper to buy the gallon size rather than 4 of the DT quart sizes. But, the quart size bottles are definitely easier to manage, so that could be a worthwhile trade off. Thanks again for your all your Dollar Tree content. As much as I shop there, I still learn about all kinds of hidden goodies from you. ~ Lisa
Thank you Kallie - love your videos as you get to the points quickly and makes everything interesting! I leave your video on whilst cleaning as it really motivates me! Thank you 😊
I love their clear glass Irish Coffee mugs. I currently have nine of them. They’re easy to hold (I have arthritic fingers), they’re very sturdy, and they look great! I also get DT tension headache pills. They work as well as Exedrin.
I love dollar tree! I recently bought 3 of the black soup/cereal bowls and we use them all the time! Also the clear glass dinner plates are great also. A new find this past weekend was the round plastic old time looking candy jar with lid, Love it!
The Dollar Tree product I use every single day are my reading glasses. I literally have one in my car, on my desk, one in every single purse I have and one in the kitchen. Can't have enough. I even buy some spares so if and when one breaks I always have a new pair waiting.
I bought 2 of the small cutting boards too. Super handy and great that I can just drop them into the dishwasher. They wash up really well and stay nice.
I use pretty much every item you featured on a near daily basis too! I don’t have any little ones so no doorknob safety cover. I even have the animal clips fir bags. I totally agree on these! I’ve had mine since 2015 and still have them all! I was just in DT this morning and a Man came in looking for the white condiment squeeze bottles! Oh, I don’t have (or need) those too. I will pick them up when I see them, coffee syrup! Finally, I totally agree as well as find myself talking people at DT into getting the small kitchen utensils & plastic cutting board. Everything you said bout them is so true. I have the green ones! Great video as usual Kallie! I’m going to go look (and most likely order) those clear shoe box size bins. I love that the lid is attached!
I like how she gets right to her content. I have one question, when those push lights need to be removed, how do you do it? That sticky backing is hard to come off surfaces, sometimes wrecking the paint or finished surface.
I put Hot Glue on the Small Stick Up Lights on the Sticky Tab, when You want to remove it just get out Your Hair Dryer on high heat and it heats up the Glue and comes right off. No damage!!! 🙂
I have some of those lights, but I haven’t used them yet. I’m wondering if you could just attach a Command strip on the back instead of using the attached adhesive.
I recently discovered the refrigerator storage bins. They help keeping things from getting pushed to the back and not discovered until it is a science experiment. I also like the shower loofas that are on a handle with loofa going almost the length of the handle. I believe they are labeled as mens loofas.
You are so helpful and entertaining. Truly enjoy the dollar tree finds. You also remind me of the chores I need to get to.....like disinfect the drain. Yeah !!...to simple vinegar and baking soda.
New favorite Dollar Tree item - a felt Happy Birthday banner! I was decorating for my husband's birthday and bought one of these from the party aisle. I was shocked at how thick the felt letters are, and they are so cute strung up on the baker's twine that came with it. Really great quality for $1 and I can see us using this for many birthdays to come!
I wanted to point out the clear storage bins come in a pack of 10 at walmart for $8 they have gray lids but they are sturdier and cheaper! I just discovered this and it's great for my crafting supplies!
I saw a video from DIY with KB (?) (I think that's her UA-cam name!) and she suggested these clear plastic sponge holders with suction cups on the back to store your kitchen sponge inside your sink. They are found in the kitchen utensils section at Dollar Tree. I bought one, and I love it! It hides your sponge and declutters the area around your sink. I went back and bought extras!
Love your ideas. I like the dish wand for cleaning the tub and shower. We use binder clips to keep snacks and chip bags closed. Thanks for sharing your tips! 💝
Great ideas. I get the dollar tree broom to scrub the tub and tile in the shower. I use vinegar dish soap and baking soda. The tub and tiles sparkle and my back is not hurting from bending to scrub the tub.
I too can not live without the smaller utensils! I use them EVERY single time I cook. I have also purchased the matching knife and I find myself grabbing for that very often as well. Another thing I use every single day is the travel condiment squeezer. I order Starbucks everyday on my way to work and I bring my own heavy cream and sugar free flavoring. I actually make 5 premeasured ones on Sunday and take them every day. I order 4 shots of espresso over ice every day.
I bought the shoes mentioned in a previous video that Kallie said she uses to go to the mailbox or take the trash out or something and I'm OBSESSED. The store I got them from the guy said he sold TWENTY (okay just noticing the shoes are in this video too) that day, and I really really want more pairs but I can't find any!!!!
I have to comment about the dish wand idea for the bathtub. I have significant arthritis in my knees and was having a hard time kneeling down to get the tubs clean. I saw this 'hack' on one of your previous videos and it has made it sooo much easier for me to clean the tub. I am tall so I can actually reach the entire tub without kneeling now. Thank you for sharing all of your great ideas and finds!
You can also get the spray shower cleaner and spray it on and let it do the work for you. They have a great spray at WinCo for about $2.30. It's the Eco brand. 💜
I have health issues too I need help 😩 Kim how do you clean your tub with what so u don't have to be on your knees I have a bad back thanks in advance I am Tina Marie nice to meet you dear
Are use dollar tree broom to scrub my tub and shower stalls. I also have back problems. In addition I’m extremely lazy and this works really quick and easy.
I looove dollar tree organizers and bins too! As a mom myself, I much prefer them to fancy ones because I can let my son explore and "help mom" and not worry if one (of five 🤣) get broken in the process.
Just scored the refrigerator bins. They sell 2 sizes. One is made for soda cans and the other one is narrow and deep and is great for yogurt, pudding cups, snack size fruits or applesauce. I started with 4 of the narrow containers and 2 of the can holders. They are great and I hope they will help things from getting shoved to the back of the refrigerator and going bad before I can use them. The can holder would also work in a pantry or cupboard to hold canned soups, fruits or veggies or to hold bags/packets of mixes and the other one could store any snack size servings of other items. A well-known organizing store sells a beautiful whole refrigerator organizer set of about 25 pieces and it is over $160. It is designed for a very large refrigerator (much larger than mine). All I could think was if I bought that I wouldn't be able to afford the groceries to fill the containers! Go Dollar Tree!
I buy the 6 pack of bag clips from DT. They are up by the registers and work so well. I have 4 kids (5 counting the hubby) and there are always bags of many types open here. I have bought several packs of these.
Definitely great recommendations!! I love the buddies magic erasers. Also their sponges I love to stock up. Still in the hunt for those slides. My DT didn't have them so I have to check some other one's. Tfs
There are little light type wooden animal shapes in the craft section. My daughter liked the dinosaur so I bought it, painted it, and now she uses it as a night light and loves it.
I use the mini silicone tipped tongs to take toast, bagels etc out of the toaster, thanks to your previous video that highlighted them. I didn’t know $tree had them.
My local dollar tree also has a larger sized vinegar. I believe it's 64 oz. Its wonderful. Just says cleaning vinegar on the bottle. Kind of looks like a bottle of wiper fluid (but clear of course) Just a little more bang for the buck.
Actually, cleaning vinegar contains 6% acetic acid and is 20% stronger than white distilled vinegar. Better for disinfecting, but not good for using in things you eat.
I use baking soda and dish soap to create a paste and “paint” it on the sink and let it rest for 10mins and then scrub it. This works great and dish soap is a great antibacterial product vs just just the vinegar and baking soda
Because I've been watching you over the years, I already have all of these except the slides, and my winter boots are ready to be put away so I'll be going and picking some up this week :-)
How did I know that "command" hooks would be on the list? Lol. I use mine every day for holding my broom on the inside of my linen closet door and I LOVE Dollar Tree's plastic organizing bins under the bathroom sink. Thanks for another fun video!
Those slide shoes are fantastic. I actually went today to get the other three colors but I didn't have. I had the gray and then I bought black teal and hot pink

But, the quart size bottles are definitely easier to manage, so that could be a worthwhile trade off. Thanks again for your all your Dollar Tree content. As much as I shop there, I still learn about all kinds of hidden goodies from you. ~ Lisa
Have a blessed and safe week.
I've got those slide shoes, and they work great for going outside to water the flowers, etc!!
I use the “cooking concepts” Bamboo Cutting Board everyday, and it is amazing! Great quality, looks luxury, and it’s portable.
I use DT clothespins as bag clips. You get a ton of them for $1 and they’re also great for blanket forts lol
I use clothes line clips from the DT as my chip clips. Although not fancy like the regular chip clips but you get way more for your dollar.
What a great use of the dishwand!
Great video! I appreciate how you are so 'bubbly", I use the Dollar Tree lunch bags everyday for snacks.
I absolutely love the mini silicone cooking utensils! I have doubles of them all! Use them all the time 😊
I saw a “but first, coffee” candle at DT yesterday... it has a little mini shaped coffee in it with a wick
I love dollar tree! I recently bought 3 of the black soup/cereal bowls and we use them all the time! Also the clear glass dinner plates are great also. A new find this past weekend was the round plastic old time looking candy jar with lid, Love it!
Yes agree on so many of these. I got one pair of the sliders and 💜 them. Need more for upcoming trip!
Where did you find them in the store? I've looked many times with the flip flops and never see them.
The Dollar Tree product I use every single day are my reading glasses. I literally have one in my car, on my desk, one in every single purse I have and one in the kitchen. Can't have enough. I even buy some spares so if and when one breaks I always have a new pair waiting.
I bought those today for my father he is 80 I got him 2 pairs :) 3.25
Same! Several pair everywhere!
The locker bins are awesome for our classroom pencils, glue, etc. Pretty sturdy for a $1.
I put Hot Glue on the
Small Stick Up Lights on the
Sticky Tab, when You want to remove it just get out Your
Hair Dryer on high heat and it heats up the Glue and comes right off. No damage!!! 🙂
String or fishing line behind the tape will help remove. And then wd40 to remove any sticky left behind.
I have some of those lights, but I haven’t used them yet. I’m wondering if you could just attach a Command strip on the back instead of using the attached adhesive.
@@tammitidwell6737 great tip!
You could also use Velcro tape instead of the original adhesive. :)
I recently discovered the refrigerator storage bins. They help keeping things from getting pushed to the back and not discovered until it is a science experiment. I also like the shower loofas that are on a handle with loofa going almost the length of the handle. I believe they are labeled as mens loofas.
What are the ice box storage bins? I have no idea please share a photo Rosemary thanks in advance 😊
What are the refrigerator storage bins? Can you please post a picture?
@@t.m.button7229 i can't get a photo to post. They are on the DT website.
On the DT website search for Essentials Plastic Fridge Storage Bins.
You are so helpful and entertaining. Truly enjoy the dollar tree finds. You also remind me of the chores I need to get to.....like disinfect the drain. Yeah !!...to simple vinegar and baking soda.
I love their hair accessories. Baking isle.
Those small cutting boards are a really good quality. I feel like we've had ours forever and it's still going strong 💪
New favorite Dollar Tree item - a felt Happy Birthday banner! I was decorating for my husband's birthday and bought one of these from the party aisle. I was shocked at how thick the felt letters are, and they are so cute strung up on the baker's twine that came with it. Really great quality for $1 and I can see us using this for many birthdays to come!
the dish wand in the shower is genius!!
I wanted to point out the clear storage bins come in a pack of 10 at walmart for $8 they have gray lids but they are sturdier and cheaper! I just discovered this and it's great for my crafting supplies!
I saw a video from DIY with KB (?) (I think that's her UA-cam name!)
and she suggested these clear plastic sponge holders with suction cups on the back to store your kitchen sponge inside your sink. They are found in the kitchen utensils section at Dollar Tree. I bought one, and I love it! It hides your sponge and declutters the area around your sink. I went back and bought extras!
I saw that video. Very clever use.
I buy clothes pins from the DT to close the chips/snacks bags, they work perfectly!
Thanks for sharing this! I must look for the slide shoes! Have not seen any yet. Love your channel!
Love your ideas. I like the dish wand for cleaning the tub and shower. We use binder clips to keep snacks and chip bags closed. Thanks for sharing your tips! 💝
I use the binder clips for the same thing, then hang the chips (or whatever) on the inside of the pantry door.
Love all these hacks! My 2 year old son uses those white top clear bins to store his toys. :)
I just love your videos young lady you have adorable blessings your children ❤
We own all of the mini utensils and love them!!!!
Great ideas. I get the dollar tree broom to scrub the tub and tile in the shower. I use vinegar dish soap and baking soda. The tub and tiles sparkle and my back is not hurting from bending to scrub the tub.
great tip
Heeellllooo!! Good Morning and Happy Memorial Day weekend 🌄
I have severe health issues and i use the dollar store mop to clean the walls in shower and tub so easy
Thank you do very much :) have a blessed Memorial Day and week dear 😊
Such great tips & products. We don't have Dollar Tree in the UK, BUT I'm usually able to source similar products so I can do a hack attack 😉 Thanks
I use the mini spatulas and tongs daily in my kitchen.
I always enjoy your organizational videos.
Thanks for sharing. (Darci)
I have used and love all of these dollar tree products!
The removable hooks shocked me at how good they are.
I love the sliders, very comfy for house slippers and one at the back door and one spare! LOL Nice color variety! Thanks for sharing!
Where do you find them in the store? I've never seen them with the flip flops. Please help me find them. Thanks!
I found them with flip flops. Only a couple pair.
I looove dollar tree organizers and bins too! As a mom myself, I much prefer them to fancy ones because I can let my son explore and "help mom" and not worry if one (of five 🤣) get broken in the process.
You never cease to amaze me, thank you!
I use the Dollar Tree locker bins for me snack bar. My family and I just grap whatever we want out of the bins.
You said before that you only wash your hair once a week. Can we get a hair care video? 😍
Very helpful. I am going to use the vinegar and baking soda hack.
God you’re a genius! LOVE your videos, found you looking for nursery organization and now I’m subscribed xoxo thank you!!
I just got those bags clips today! Took a trip to my local store after watching your videos.😊
I use the mini silicone tipped tongs to take toast, bagels etc out of the toaster, thanks to your previous video that highlighted them. I didn’t know $tree had them.
Love, love, love your ideas! Keep ‘em coming:)
My local dollar tree also has a larger sized vinegar. I believe it's 64 oz. Its wonderful. Just says cleaning vinegar on the bottle. Kind of looks like a bottle of wiper fluid (but clear of course) Just a little more bang for the buck.
"Cleaning Vinegar" is mostly water
Actually, cleaning vinegar contains 6% acetic acid and is 20% stronger than white distilled vinegar. Better for disinfecting, but not good for using in things you eat.
@@tigrlady2u oh! Thought it was weaker!
@@kzw16 I used to think so, too, but I found out when I worked at a mass merchandiser that it's actually stronger. 🤷♀️
I use the yellow and green dish washing sponges, since I hand wash everything.
How did I know that "command" hooks would be on the list? Lol. I use mine every day for holding my broom on the inside of my linen closet door and I LOVE Dollar Tree's plastic organizing bins under the bathroom sink. Thanks for another fun video!
You should definitely try the farberware white bladed knives! They're a m a z i n g!!!
Thanks Kelly, some great tips!
Love your videos and your energy! You make it so much fun to watch! Thank you! I also ❤️ the tips! I am going to use the tub cleaning tip today!👏👏👏👏👏👍
Those slide shoes are fantastic. I actually went today to get the other three colors but I didn't have. I had the gray and then I bought black teal and hot pink
