Spent a lot of time digging around other utilities in my career and it’s never fun. Somebody recommended a digger, most of the time when they were on the job with multiple utilities in the trench all they are good for is to take up space and look good Most excavating is done by hand in such situations. Cheers mates

It won't be a problem rodding or jetting the branch on the Y.
A jet line can be made to go up it with the right head on or if you use plastic rods they can be bent as their pushed in and sent up the Y.

I'm about a fifth of the way through a job that's killing me right now. Because of the cancer & the arthritis i really really really wish i hadn't started & got someone else to do it but you know what it's like, we take on this shit but you know the worse part for me? It's self inflicted, it's my job, something that I wanted & so decided that I'd do it once I had a little bit of energy. That energy lasted about 20 minutes so now I can only do little bits at a time, visually making no headway at all.....

The water meter is in a strange location, they are usually at the boundary where the footpath is or where the water pipe enters the house. If there is a stop tap in the footpath I would have been tempted to resite the meter further back in the grass.
By the way their is SDS drill attachment you can buy to chamfer the waste pipes, I seen it on another youtube channel.
    Great work though.
