My thoughts: Mini wharnclife in satin Elmax. Speed demon (the regular one) in satin Elmax. South Pole, black micarta in satin Elmax. Equilibrium in satin M390. I basically got rid of my fixed knives and locking folders because of TRC. Kept just my slipjoints and multitool/s if you count Victorinox as one. And Benchmade Puukko 200 for dirty stuff I don’t want to do with TRCs. I purchased Speed Demon first. Once I took it out, I felt like: OK, this is what I’ve been looking for. I stopped hoarding knives, that I wasn’t happy enough. Sold some and gave the rest to my fam & friends. And I feel I’ve found my knife place. TRC for everything and slipjoints for the looks. Freedoms are next on my list. Enjoy your South Pole!
Nicely said mate. TRC crew have really made some cool knives. The South Pole for me is perfect for the finer smaller tasks. If I wanna limb some smaller branches for shelter builds for example then I go up to the heavier blades that can handle that work. Someday I'd love to test the Apocalypse and see how it handles.

I consider myself tourist/hiker, usually in protected areas, so shelters, bonfires etc. are off my priority list. My most used one is still Speed Demon. Weight next to nothing. No paracord wrap - tried couple, found them useless. Great ergos and the heat treatment is out of this world. It just refuse to get dull. I strongly believe, that some companies flat out lie about it. Because TRC Elmax behave totally different, compared to Elmax from Maniago Italy (couple brands located there). I don’t know whether it’s the cryo treatment or whatever, but it’s just different. So yeah, lighties first for me, than the big one. Looking forward for you to get it and absuse it ;)

Nice vid bro. It is indeed a saber grind, my favourite other than scandi. Awesome looking knife tho man. Fit and finish is clearly very high, nice touch with the high quality booklet. Personally I wouldn’t buy a knife that hasn’t got a 90 degree spine (my preference). Keen to hear what prompted your purchase of this tho? Have you gone off the casstrom? I fancied trying something else but something with a saber grind and heard great things about TRC. Also wanted to try Elmax steel for quite a while now. Trying to have a better understanding of blade geometry and steels. Looking forward to testing this full on tomorrow 🙂 Gonna make another video and leave the photos until the weekend for Instagram 😅
