LeMahieu and Rizzo are cooked. DJ's perpetual toe issues means he can't run in his workouts, which is death for an athlete. Rizzo may not even be allowed to work out at all, which is basically no longer being an athlete.

Boston is surging. Houston is back from the dead. Kansas City is much improved. Tampa Bay has always been a pain in the Yankees side. Texas is beginning to play better & they're defending champs with pedigree. If the Yankees aren't careful and don't turn this around very soon, they will be on the outside looking into October once again.
Pitching is lackluster - reliant on just a couple players. Nothing has changed with this team. Don't understand why people are surprised.
Somebody has to get fired
Lately, the Yankees have won 26% (6 of 23). With 69 games left, at that rate they are on pace to win 18 more games. 55 + 18 = 73 total. My hope is that somehow, with a lot more work and focus they could win 9 plus extra games. This would ensure another winning season for the boys and something to build on going forward? But they have to find a way to win 27 out of 69 of the remains games. That's approximately 40% of the 69 games left. I know it sounds obviously impossible to ask but.... Go Yankees!!!

If this team collapses and somehow misses playoffs neither Cashman or Boone should survive it. Their schedule is really easy in August but who’s to say Yanks aren’t as bad? Guess time will tell

5-16 last 21. The pen was a huge question mark entering season and after losing Losiaga and Holmes crapping the bed it’s bad top to bottom. The great start was a combo of the starting pitching over performing,enough hitting and a lot of bad teams.

i've never been a Boone fan i wanted Buck Showalter when we got rid of Girardi for the most part this team is healthy. we are just missing some people but overall we should not be this bad losing to Boston, Cincinnati, Mets. Rodon started off hot and has faded you have to look at Matt Blake he needs to do something to get Rodon back to the pitcher we saw in April and May. but yeah ever since we lost that series in Boston this team has faded and i hope we turn it around quickly.

Clifford. Injuries happen in baseball..... What is going on with the Yankees is Way beyond injuries. John boy said a lot of other people said there is no spark there is no hustle there is nothing. People are making bonehead errors stupid mistakes getting behind getting angry at teammates etc. injuries are a very small part of that.

Please don't *EVER* compare Judge to Mattingly. lol Mattingly made the post-season once and was an absolute monster. Judge may go down in history as one of the worst post-season players of all time. Even in his MVP 62 HR season, he completely collapsed in the playoffs.
I loved Mattingly, but Judge is a better player.
