- John at Motonero Guzzi built this wonderful special, based around a Moto Guzzi 1100 Sport motor shoehorned into a Tonti frame. Carillo rods, short pullthrottle and big flatslide Keihin carbs mean that the power on this bike comes through quick and fast. We rode it, and it's fantastic - light and fast, and listen to the noise from those Conti pipes. Read all about it in a feature in our mag, soon!

I love this. Thinking of buying my first Guzzi, which is a 2001 Jackel . I'm late to the Guzzi group, but better late than never I guess. Beautiful build!
Well, that looks wonderful and sounds purposeful.
Un Gioiello!
What a peach! Single headlight for me, please, but love the tank. Kinda Magni like.
Beautiful.......nice propotion.....
Love it. Not your usual WBO style tank/LM1 fairing build (although there's absolutely nothing wrong with that). Also a lot attention to detail like the rounded cooling fins, the lovely front fender pipe mounts - just like the old T3's and V7 Sport had - or all the drilled metal, like the aluminium plate in the cockpit.
Thanks for your comments as much appreciated.
Meravigliosa complimenti
Great bike !
Bravo
that's what i call "good vibes" XD
Best pipes for Guzzi, Conti reverse cones.
Legend👍👍👍👍👍
Viva la Moto Guzzi, they have the only REAL V2 engine.
MCChemtrailrider , by making a ridiculous comment you trying to look clever?.....YOU FAIL!!!!
No chance in Germany with the Conti pipes, Police will catch you! :-)
Falsch....
a hell of a lot better than a norton or a triumph....hey lads?
Don;t know about that? But a Honda CX500 yes!
A well sorted 850 Commando is a pleasure to drive on the highway and has nicer torque than the LeMans. I've owned both and had more pleasure driving the Commando on long trips, and I wouldn't even consider my Norton as being well sorted.
Looks like a slightly modified Hyde Harrier fairing
Yes it is.
1100 sport engine with carbs? Why would you do that?
The 1100 sport was a carb engine until 97
Is the Frame cut and welded?
Yes mounts similar to 1100 Sport with modified mounts at the rear
Change those tires!!!
Why?
These tires do not warm up, last very long but do not grip especialy on sport style motorcycle!
Each to their own I guess, but curious to know what you suggest?
Nothing to suggest, as you say each to their own, but look for michelin macadam 50 on internet and see people 's opinion about that tire.
Well.I must admit that they were already fitted to those wheels which came with another project that I bought. I sometimes use Bridgestones BT45's and also Avon Roadriders, the latter don't exactly get rave reviews either I believe, but I don't have a problem with any of them and even mixing them as a pair. Approx 10 years ago I rode across the USA covering nearly 6,000mls in 3 weeks on a pair of Macadam 50's with no problems. Also had a few days chasing around with some very fast Guzzi locals (who ride there all the time and one is a ex racer) in the very twisty hills of Malibu with no problems pushing my Guzzi (not the one above obviously) and myself beyond my normal limits..........admittedly I couldn't quite keep up with them, but wasn't too far behind either. In all fairness there is not really a lot of choice for skinny 18" wheels.
