The detective not testifying is crazy, I agree, but don't ignore how insane it is that you have a prosecutor that added a detective to a blacklist because that detective called you a liar (this is why I think there MUST be more to this, because there is NO WAY it is reasonable to refuse any further testimony from a detective over that).
The detective is rightly being panned, but this prosecutor has chosen to undermine the central part of her job by telling cops that she'll never accept their word as valid to open any cases. If that's the signal she's sending to those cops, then it logically follows that they'd see no reason to offer any testimony. How would his "grandfathered testimony" from ongoing cases be any more trustworthy to this prosecutor than any new testimony that would inform future cases. His protest, while it is a dereliction of duty, logically follows the dereliction of duty from the prosecutor for creating that list.

After having several alleged murderers walk because of her failure to show up, as well as ignoring multiple court orders to hand evidence over to the defense, and the scathing testimony of multiple judges in different cases, plus the 20 times her lead homocide prosecutor had her name forged on documents while on maternity leave -- causing her to resign, plus the Board of Aldermen calling for her resignation and the Mayor of St. Louis suggesting she needed to do some soul searching due to her losing the trust of the people, Gardner resigned on May 16, 2023 earlier than her stated date of Jun 1st.
Amazing that she was the CA for St. Louis for 6 years with a record like that and none of you even batted an eye, but when she hinged a murder conviction on testimony from a man she herself deemed untrustworthy and stated should not be allowed to testify you turned your attention to the officer that refused to testify for someone that put him on a list because of an obvious political difference.

If you were in a court of law and a witness came to the stand that effectively had a sign that said "I can't be trusted, my own boss says so." Any reasonable lawyer on your side would use that, and it would only get worst. The prosecutor put a legal target on his back, i wouldn't participate either. You can't ask me to testify in cases but turn around and say my testimony is suspect. At this point this is effectively saying "I want you to testify, but only in cases I want you to testify for." I encountered Charli D’Amilio while working at Halloween Horror Nights at Universal Studios Hollywood this year. I was closing a heavy tram door for her group when a fan tried to run on and get a picture with her. The doors swing down, so when I stopped/caught the door, the shocks pulled it back up, injuring my shoulder. I yelped out in pain while Charli and her friends proceeded to take selfies with the kid and his friends! I explain to her tour guide that I need to close the door, and they have the oblivious audacity to tell the kids “okay, 15 seconds for photos, then we’ve gotta go!” WHAT?! That was 15 extra seconds where my hand was stuck in the door pull, and my shoulder injury was being aggravated. They’re actively delaying the operation of the tram for EVERYONE, ignoring basic safety rules, my shoulder is in immense pain, and they’re taking selfies?! I ended up on modified duty for 3 days because of it! It’s now a running joke in the break room that “Charli D’Amilio broke my shoulder”! Influencers who have never had a “real” job need to get a grip! Some (not all) events worth mentioning that you forget about the Middle East situation:
    1. Friday’s blackout of communication in Gaza and its consequences.
    2. The escalation of air raids and bombings by the IDF.
    3. Settler violence, aided by the IDF, against Palestinians in the West Bank.
    4. Forced displacement of Palestinian population in the West Bank because of said violence.
    5. Several NGOs that work in the field are calling for the stop of said violence.
    6. UN General Assembly asking for an immediate Humanitarian truce.
    7. Massive peaceful protests around the world in support of Palestine and pointing at the Israeli government as guilty of war crimes.
And yes, of course the rise of anti-Semitism is disgusting, but the behaviour of the Israeli government and the IDF against palestinians is inhuman and deserves to by judged as war crimes.
I implore you and your team that, for the following pieces on the situation, look for other sources of information to contrast what the idf and the israeli government are saying. For example: NGOs like B'Tselem, MSF (Doctors Without Borders), International Amnesty and all the plethora of UN offices working in Gaza right now have different perspectives outside the Israeli government’s vision.

      10. The intentional targeting of journalists
      11. ADL (who he quoted in this video) counting ANY pro-Palestinian action as anti-semitic and their targeting of students
      12. The multiple incidences of Israel lying in the last few weeks, whether beheaded babies, Hamas under hospitals, "top secret" Hamas plans, fake audio, Hamas killing their own civilians to keep them from evacuating

I'm from Germany with a very high number of muslim immigrants and refugees or second/third generation Muslims and special history with jewish people. We have been taught all our lives for generations now, that especially jewish lives need to be protected and that antisemitism must be fought in our country at ALL costs - the Holocaust must NEVER repeat itself. This then makes it extremely scary, when Muslims in our country DON'T merely have peaceful protests (most luckily do), but instead become violent rioters, attacking our police forces, threatening to bomb synagogues and jewish schools or vandalising normal people's property. And we've even had a bunch of houses marked with the Star of David so everyone knows there are Jews living there... We have entire districts in cities that are often referred to as "Little Morrocco" and names like that where jewish people cannot walk freely due to the population being overwhelmingly believers in Islam. Even doing so much as going out wearing a Kippa could cause them to be beaten or even killed.
And all the while we are wondering why this 2-party war is taken to our streets, why our laws are being ignored and why we need to fear for our lives for having opinions - even nuanced ones!

Israel doesn't parade the bodies of desecrated innocent people. Israel also doesn't like killing innocent people.
Hamas members and Hamas supporters are animals.
You may not think Israeli forces are innocent either, but the difference in humanity is not even close between the two factions.
It's funny to me how nobody is bothering to ask how are so many Palestinians are dying despite Israel warning of bombing well before they happen. Just some food for thought. It doesn't change anything, but it's really funny to me how nuanced everyone is being when all I hear is "we don't like innocent people dying". Yeah, no sht. Nobody does. You think the IDF enjoys Palestinian children dying? Really? You know for certain that Hamas and their supporters do. They parade these things and post it to social media ffs. But no, Israel is just as bad, right?
Come to me with an actual nuanced take. Tell us what alternative does Israel have to get rid of Hamas other than destroying them the way are doing right now? If you think there is a peaceful solution then you are just as ignorant as most people on the internet - Hamas' only goal is to destroy Israel. That's in their founding papers. It's not the prosperity and freedom of the Palestinian people. It only cares about the destruction of Israel.
So please be so kind and offer an alternative solution instead of virtue signaling as an anonymous voice on the internet. So far I've seen zero. And I suspect it won't change. Would love to be proven wrong.

I don't think many companies can argue that letting employees work from home made them less profitable/productive. It seems at times the very people who should be on the same team as you end up also contributing to the unappreciative atmosphere in which you work. It also teaches you to gauge your own work. But it's not even about making enough to pursue my dreams, I just want to make enough to get by and live a fairly comfortable life and pay rent
Charli is definitely tone deaf for this, it's another case of influencers cosplaying being poor when I imagine a lot of them are amongst the awful customers we get everyday.

I’m pissed about the Mr Beast situation, one thing Phil didn’t mention is that Mr Beast was only trying to get Rosanna to talk over the phone which would have left no receipts and left a lot of room for him to lie or say whatever he wanted with no evidence.
He refused to handle it over messages and stopped messaging when she would not get on the phone with him. Huge red flag for me.
I don’t think she mishandled this except that she felt the need to apologize and walk it back.

Yeah, people only want to handle stuff over the phone in situations like this so it's not in writing

Yeah I wouldn’t want a personal phone call either, I’ve had bosses try to do it after allegations of sexual harassment in work places and I just straight up told them “ I will not be verbally discussing anything, any further contact we will have will need to be written down.”

Okay, You aren't gonna take out Mrbeast like that. Like i know you hate him but this isn't gonna make a dent to his income. Keep trying though.

@@pixelcount350 No one's trying to take out Mrbeast or hurt his income, they just want to see him be honest and make a genuine apology to Rosanna

Fully agree with Phil on the year of retail or food service. You can always tell the people that have done those jobs before because when you encounter them if something is going wrong they are empathetic about it. I know I've been chill when things go wrong with retail or even drive-thru's and see the relief on the employees face when I tell them it's no big deal; they can see I know what it's like and I'm not about to be abusive.
