i personally like the chunky ones where the ring is basically a wrapped rectangle.i found it hard to get the shape parallel by hand so i layed a craft wood stick of the width i wanted on the clay and cut it as a stencil. it was good enough since i dont have a lot of tools

Hi ! Thank you so much for subscribing and watching :) It means a lot to me! Make sure you’re not using old clay and that you’re baking it for a long enough time. Do you normally bake your clay in a conventional oven?
Im so happy it was helpful to you :) and i really appreciate your love and support! It depends on what brand of polymer clay you’re using , each clay has a different set of baking instructions! Sculpey clay calls for the oven temp to be 275 F and 15 min of baking for each 0.25 inch of thickness so these i baked for about 30 minutes!
I got old clay so I thought I will make a ring but I don't know what is it polymer or what but I will try to make a ring thank you for your tutorial 😩🦪

Yayyy! You’re gunna do great! Have fun making them :) and I left them on twice while washing and they were fine. I wouldn’t make a habit of it, but the glaze should waterproof them so they won’t be ruined if they get wet here or there
Well the dotting tool will be most helpful for making the face on the smiley face ring so instead you can paint the face on OR you can push a little black bead or tiny black clay ball in for the eyes. For the mouth you can roll out a really thin string of clay, cut, and bend it.
Hi girl! Could you please write the instructions to me because I still do not understand English and I don’t understand about the used products. Thanks 😊 😘💕
1:49 that isn't a cutting tool, i work with clay on a daily basis at my school and that's what we call a metal rib it's to help compress and smooth out slabs. You can use it to cut small things with clay in plastic state but i don't recommend it as that isn't its main purpose
Thank you for the information and correction! I’ve used it for both compression and cutting throughout the years. Kinda kills two birds with one stone and works well for both!
There’s definitely a possibility that they will break, unless you glaze them in resin, they can definitely break over time. But they do have some durability to them. Try glazing in resin for the most long-lasting results

It depends on the brand of clay you use! Which brand ?
I have one questions, I made clay rings and I want to like, bake them in a way and I'm too young to use an oven would a microwave work??
No a microwave will not work. Buy some air dry clay instead and use that, you won’t have to bake it. Or have your mom bake them for you !
These are so cool:D I was wondering, could I make clay rings out of air dry clay?
Thank you! And yes I have a tutorial on my channel for that :)

I have polymer clay and i have baked it and rebaked it but it never goes hard...its kinda squidgy ?

premo and fimo will go flexible if baked long enough.. Sculpy111 will go hard but can be brittle and break
do these kind of clay have to be baked? :D

How long do you put it in the oven?
Depends on what clay you use and how thick your rings are. Usually around 40-45 min is good
