Just wanted to say the quality of the info and the general presentation of this vid is really good, definitely didn’t realize your channel was so small till I looked at the view count. Great job man, thank you for the tips.
This is my first soulslike game. I’ve only played games like CoD my whole life (exceptions of Nintendo games lol) and a lot of the guides explain things like I’ve played an rpg before. I finally beat the game and wanted to do some pvp and with all the other guides I still felt lost lol. So this was really helpful, thanks my dude.
125 and 150 feel the most active from all the time I've done duels and invasions, so starting at 137-139 where you can hit both metas in the matchmaking gives you the MOST activity possible. In my opinion the best content creators are: For Weapon Ideas - ChaseTheBro For Gank Spanks - Oroboro For Raw PvP Mechanics in invasions - Steelovsky
Probably vagabond unless you're going arcane build starts with optimized stats and the less than 10 in magic and arcane means more in other stats per level
Depends but almost always Vagabond when you're going for a 1 stat focused build or if you're going for a melee caster build (50 int or fai, minimum str/dex for fun weapons) For dedicated casters you'd want to go for respective class such as Prophet or Astrologer if you don't want to wield a lot of weapons and your goal is 60-80 Int This goes for Arcane as well you'd want to go for Hero Class
Two reasons: 1) 2 more levels isnt going to give you ANY stats no matter what you put it into. The gains are so tiny that theres no reason to even go for them and- 2) There are more people lvl 123-125 than there are 171-173. If you go 139, people SPECIFICALLY AVOIDING players doing this by being lvl 123 or 124 will not be in your pvp pool. So in short, you gain virtually nothing for going up the 2 levels and a (albeit small) chunk of people will be able to avoid you.
i've been getting into invasions, but the problem with my most recent build is that it's high level, but i still can't afford to level vigor. i'm using stuff like ghostflame, which requires you to level like 3 different damage stats, so i'm level 160 with 40 vigor lmao
I would say maybe use some of the heirloom talismans to bump your damage stats by 5. A talisman slot is probably worth using if it means more health. Other than that maybe take away from whatever stat has the worst scaling. And finally sometimes people have more stamina then you need. I would just make sure you have equip load covered and just manage it well hope this helps.
You thought I wouldn't notice the bladerunner music in the background. Well jokes on you I've seen the movie like 100 times haha. It's my favorite. But seriously, this video was very well made and very helpful. Thank you
Here's a 3 step guide. 1) Yes, it's insanely fun. 2) If you're on PC get the Seamless Co-Op mod, it has a REDICULOUSLY active playerbase, now has invasion support, and not only has the playerbase but uses Steam's API instead of Fromsoft's which means the ping and latency is PERFECT. Elden Ring has build in latency because of Easy Anticheat and the mod removes that which makes it so damn much more fun. and 3) There's no reason not to do it. Just play to have fun and come up with builds you like using!
@@GransterCh I will definitely make a new character for pvp now🤝.another question, u don’t think the DLC impacted the meta for level on pvp? Would u say it’s still 137

dang bro this is GOLD i still don’t know how to perform that quick turn around back step but you leveled me up with everything you mentioned here !!
I wish I had such a precise guide when I started. I think your video is very well explained. It even made me want to play again.
awesome - i did not know the camera adjustments - gamechange !!!

Very informative video. Thanks my man
what levels are the most active for invasions & duels? also who do you consider the best pvp content creators?

What do you think is the best starting class for pvp and why?
Probably vagabond unless you're going arcane build starts with optimized stats and the less than 10 in magic and arcane means more in other stats per level
Bandit probably best for arcane for same reasons

5:36 why not level 139 lol ? it also matches 125 - 150 and is just higher level

Is it worth it getting into pvp or should I stay in pve land
