Decided now that the headset was out, might as well get to enjoying VR. This tutorial got me going and I appreciate all the work you put into making this clutch video for getting started! Now my decision is to buy Samsung Odyssey + or the quest the prices is odsyssey 399$ quest 512$ hard to decide the Samsung have nice price tag and as I understand better visual because of no screen door but the quest is unthetherd and also can stream pcvr. What you will suggest me ?
@@michaelivlev2796 I would probably go for the Odyssey+ over the quest, content is already there, better display and experience over all if you already have a powerful pc to run it all. Quest still needs more content that is made specifically from the ground up for it, I will talk about my thoughts on it going back and forth between my Vive & The Quest

And because of corona, I don't think I will ever get it (I am not saying that I might die or anything) but our parent's salary will go down a lot and yes, I still live with my parents because I am a kid so yeah... I have been looking at videos non-stop this past like 2-3 months...My best dream yet would be one that happened recently in which I was in my room with an oculus quest!!! Even if it was a dream I was still very happy. (I woke up and tried to sleep again so I could stay with the quest for a bit longer) :)))

@@feelfreetoscreenshot1733 The Rift S might be slightly higher quality, but its not a standalone headset. You need to be connected to a PC to use it which can lessen the experience. With the Oculus Quest you can use it anywhere you desire.
Walter Clements, both quest and rift have the same quality and experience but the quest is wireless. The difference is that since quest doesn't need pc, it stores gigabytes on its own. But either way, the quest is more worth it than just the rift. Its better.

I got my headset pre-ordered and I still use it today, however, I bought the 64gb on pre-order then the 128gb later on in 2020. I would really recommend this headset to anyone trying VR for the first time and maybe later buy a wired headset. I have a rift and still would pick to use this headset more frequently because of the 6 degrees of freedom it gives you, 10/10

I really want one of these but I am a kid and have no chance of affording this or getting it as a gift because if its price. When I write this it just released hand tracking. I would get a job but I am only 12 just about 13 and no one in my tiny town in NZ will give me or anyone under the age of 16 a job unless they are a family/friend. For now, all I can do it watch people enjoy themselves playing games. One of the games I watch and would love to get would be VR chat it looks so cool to just connect with people with no limitations. It would be so much freer than the IRL world. One other game I would love to play would be Minecraft I know it sounds dumb but It looks so cool with VR. Just got one yesterday and I genuinely can’t describe how it feels because it seems so real, like a creepy real. The games are so much fun and it’s so immersive. If your thinking about throwing the money in to buy one.....do it, you can’t regret it. Definitely try the super hot demo as soon as you get it.👌
