@GoldenHeartNecklace Well, it's possible that he was timing the ball and chain and the spikes, or waiting for a favorable moment. But I like to think that it was at this point that he turned away from the game, held his face in his hands, and sobbed uncontrollably.

@Anemite The thing that this looks so hard is, that he doesn't use savestates. With it it would be a hell of a lot easier.
It's appropriate to say this is not only the hardest Super Mario level but the hardest game as well. Harder then even Dark Souls: Prepare to Die Edition.
Hey now, that hidden block can be used to stand on and get through... once you trigger it and survive. Right?

There's a level in Super Mario 3D world for the Wii U that puts this level to shame. Its te last level in the game and I actually beat it. Took me more than a day
OK nvm this one puts that one to shame.
Your kidding right? That level is a piece of cake compared to this. Trust me, I beat the level on 3d world, but this isn't to be underestimated. It's extremely difficult.
