I thought vinegar was necessary when poaching an egg. Is this not so?
Nope vinegar is not essential at all.
not that I know of! This one works great!
Slight bit of salt or seasoning salt in the water seems to work well 😊
A dash of vinegar supposedly helps keep the white together, and a pinch of salt is supposed to help too.
