How to make normal aluminum wheels aerodynamic with custom blocking plates

These will propably be 2-3mm thick shiny black acryl if I happen to find it from my warehouse.
-They will be lasercutted in shape
- then chambered and bent with heating
- Final step is to glue them permanently in place

I have an idea for you. Add threading to the center of the wheel and then create a 1 piece unit that screws into the outer center hub of the wheel. This would make it a simple to add or remove
