You are not alone, I had insomnia and fear at night for months until It go so bad I couldn't get into the bed, one night I just did not know what to do anymore it was beyond my control, I called out to the Lord to help me and I heard in my heart him say "get back into bed and lie there", I said no at first and then I heard it again, "get back into bed and lie there", so I did, I still sweated and trembled but I knew God was in control, I eventually fell asleep, the next few nights I did the same thing and after about 3 or 4 nights I was sleeping completely normal again. God is amazing and works in ways we just cannot see, His ways are higher than ours and his thoughts higher, what might seem strange to us is not to the Lord. I Just wanted to encourage those who are dealing with Insomnia.
I would tell you though you might not be able to sleep stay in bed with your eyes closed and think on the scriptures rest your eyes and body. You will wake up refreshed as if you slept, I do know the torturous nighst of not being able to sleep yet ive learned to still lay there and rest with eyes closed and body still. It works

Especially in the times where I feel comfortable. But at this exact season in my life right now, right now as I'm messaging you, I need the Lord more than ever. And I know and trust he will make this time an experience to learn from. And he WILL make away when we think that there is no way.

I realize God is not punishing us, the devil is not tormenting us, but the Lord allows suffering for a time to keep us focused solely on Him and dependent on him for everything, in order to give us a firm foundation for the times we are in, and what’s ahead. And the fact it is temporary, even when it doesn’t feel like it. 🥲😊🙌🏼✝️🫂 “And after you have suffered a little while, the God of all Grace, who has called you to his eternal Glory in Christ, will himself restore, confirm, strengthen, and establish you.” 1 Peter 5:10❤️ I’m praying for each one here today. Believe me I’m 70 years old, and I have been through the fire, but HE is there with you, and He will always show, always!😊🙌🏼

Aaron is it his will that I cannot sleep. It is torture. He sustains me but I feel like dying. I am struggling here.
He’s allowing it at the minimum, but he is surely using even the amount of sleep you get or don’t get for your good. Trust Him!
