This is exactly what the Holy Spirit has been teaching me last night when I was crying out to Him telling Him how my anxiety is making me so so weary and tired but I want HIM..i have nobody else who loves or cares for me like Him. He showed me that verse from Isaiah that says WHEN you walk through the waters you will not drown and when you walk through the fire you will not be scorched. It's so beautiful..the verse doesn't say IF we walk through the hard times but WHEN..then God is holding us even though we don't feel Him so close at those times because fear and unbelief is clouding our vision. This clip explains it beautifully..we are HIS..He says I have called you by name..you are MINE.. that's rhe most beautiful thing in the world

The Lord has blessed me with things being better now, although I still suffer from time to time. I'm in desperate need of prayers. I ask that God bring me back to the right path with him rather than my self-imposed wilderness. My heart has hardened and my thoughts darkened while struggling with unforgiveness, resentment, bitterness, jealousy, ungratefulness, pride, and self-pity. I don't want to be like this anymore. I long for hope, strength, courage, a softened heart, thankfulness, and a sound mind. Lastly, I ask for prayer for the health of my uncle and my mom. They have done so much for me and our family, and without my mom, I would be lost. Thank you.

Keep standing on Gods word, he does help us, he has spoken to me through many ways during difficult times, I also had the scripture rise up in me when I felt swamped and all the feelings disappeared. God may not always take us out of the trial but he helps us through it, that is comfort in itself, This is the scripture that gave me peace recently. When you pass through the waters, I will be with you; and when you pass through the rivers, they will not sweep over you. When you walk through the fire, you will not be burned; the flames will not set you ablaze. Isaiah 43:2. He is saying directly to us, yes it might feel like your drowning, it might feel like you are going to burn, but (CHRIST), he is right there with us. Picture him standing there right beside you, vision it in your mind and heart and his peace will overflow. His truth makes us free, through Christ God will keep us moving forward, the enemy is the liar he was a liar from the beginning, These are all testimonies of his goodness, mercy and grace, He sanctifies us with the truth. Thanks Aaron for your words of comfort and truth. Endurance is all through the bible. The words the Lord gave me a few years ago were "Resilience and Tenacity. - Resilience is the ability to withstand adversity and bounce back from difficult life events. Tenacity is the quality displayed by someone who just won't quit - who keeps trying until they reach their goal. "This is who we are guys because of Christ in us"

According to NT Wright, Romans 8:28 (and 29) is all about God's good, not ours, ultimately. It is His goal for us to take the "form" of Christ...and that can hurt immensely. Today I've heard the idea that He may not even prepare us for sonwthing jn this existence - but something beyond. And no, it's not only about salvation, because I assure you not all Christians going through the pearly gates had to go through "hell" only to get there. Also, it is from an external perspective. Some may not like it, but Romans 8:28 is used and abused in many other ways. We've been paid for, He answers no one about what He does with His possesions, the same way we can do as we see fit with ours. The day we said "yes" to Christ, we gained but also lost more (all) than some would like to admit. I am convinced His and our ideas about love, good, many times are as different as night and day. My ''conscience'' says what im doing is a sin and when i want to ask a paster it says i shouldn't seek answers and do what my conscience wants me to do first but i want to ask a pastor first so earlier i decided to ignore my conscience and seek answers i feel like i am sinning against God. Do you think i am doing the right thing? I was worried about something earlier when I tried trusting God it felt wrong because I also feel like I'm sinning.
Going to other believers for guidance when needed is wise and expected. We make up the body of Christ and we need each other. Whenever your “conscience” goes against the Bible, like in this case, ignore it. Refer to the Bible whenever you can.
