That was a lot of great info. Thank you. I'm so excited that I just found your channel. I live in SC and I'm a gardener and I will be following you a lot now.
Thanks for the tips! Love all the recommended strains that you provide. Super useful! I recommend implementing time stamps to allow viewers to jump to sections.
I have a dwarf Carrie mango, Nam Doc Mai, Orange Sherbert, and a lot of unknown varieties that we started from seed. It is best for you to visit a local nursery that carries the varieties that are cold tolerant to your area.
Do you see any problem with planting a row of bush beans at the base of my row of pole beans? If not, how far from the base of the pole beans should I plant them?
No I don't see any problem with that. I follow square foot gardening guidelines so for bush beans, plant 9 seeds per square foot. For pole/vining beans, I dig a trench in a straight line under the trellis they will grow up, sprinkle beans in a line, and cover with dirt.
Very informative, I really appreciate that you have taken time to add in extra info for those of us in zones 10, it is somewhat different for us. I am going to be rewatching this because it was a lot to absorb. I also have grown Tropical Milkweed before, it isn't that it's an ongoing food source in winter months, it's that because it doesn't die back that it can perpetuate OE disease which Monarchs can pass to each other from the plants. The plants can be cut back to prevent that though. I haven't found a source for live plants yet, such as Swamp milkweed etc. just seeds so far. Hoping to though. That would probably be a big seller, so many people want our native milkweed as live plants but can't find it. 🤔
I forgot to mention the disease part, very true. I might consider growing out some of the native milkweed cultivars and put them on my website because yes they are hard to find.

I cant grow corn without spraying with spinosad because yea, those corn ear worms destroy everything literally overnight.

You mentioned insects but how do you deal with grubs?
I have not had a grub problem as of yet but I know a lot of people use diatomaceous earth as a treatment.
Diamatheous earth
You are lucky you can still plant. Here in Montreal it's over for us.
I cant even imagine the cold up there in Canada. I can garden year round here in Florida.
@@JerrasGarden Florida is beautiful. Maybe some day I'll move there
Great video ! I’m here in Fort Lauderdale
Oh nice! Ft Lauderdale is so pretty.
What kind of Mango trees do you have? I really love the Kent but find its too cold to survice here. I am one hour north of Orlando
