Living in Southern California I have always struggled with what to plant when because it gets so hot here. I'm glad I finally found someone who lives in the same area and knows the challenges that we face here. Thanks for the great information.
A plethora of good advice in a short amount of time. I’ve always been challenged when it comes to growing vegetable’s I think Fall is the perfect time to plant veggies so you have something to look forward to come Spring.
Here in low desert Arizona, it's still over 100deg. Cooling down to 90's next week so I'm anxious to get out and plant. I love watching you all out there. So entertaining and fun.
Thanks so much for keeping us informed on how to care for newly planted seeds. I had no idea what the difference was between row cover and shade cloth. Simple and 100% useful information. I just emptied my compost bin and have been sharing the compost with family and friends and new gardeners I’ve met this season. I still have tomato seedlings popping up everywhere. Trying to rehome them has been the other goal this summer.
I live in south Florida, zone 10a and fall is the start of our growing season. I just can't wait to get seeds started. Thanks for sharing what plants you like to grow this time of year. I am going to have to give them at try.
The fact that you guys are here in San Diego gives me an exact timing of when I should be planting and seeding. Also, the calendar is an amazing resource. Thank you!
What a great video! Found a comment in a Facebook gardening group for Southern CA! I was just thinking about what to plant now. I’ve been in a condo and limited to growing veggies in containers and have done OK, but this weekend we move to a house with a nice backyard 🥰 so I’m gonna get my green thumb on!
Love, love , love the motivation I've gotten from watching this video! My seed trays are ready and I've looked over my seeds, made a list of what I'm still needing. I've grown some tasty food from your seeds and always look forward to your videos! Looking forward to what the next season brings to the table and lunch bag!

I love your guys' channel!!! It inspires me to try new vegetables and herbs to grow... although, I'm still new at all this and like to try only a few at a time. ;-) ...Just ordered your 2023 calendar yesterday, so hope that will help me plan ahead better for this winter... and maybe next year as well! Have a volunteer amaranth that's about 4 feet tall, loved by birds and bees, and covered with 40% shade cloth to get it through the 115-117 degree days we've had. Many other plants were not quite so lucky. Got my Sep. starts growing indoors. Will be acclimating them to the outside with the heat still in the low 100s. hoping for a high enough survival rate. Great tips as always.
