I once worked as a Security guard in Hollywood. Found that the wardrobe department in the basement floor of ABC TV studios on Prospect is haunted. One guy quit after opening the door one night to check the room. A maniquin wearing a dress once owned by Joan Crawford rolled across the room at him. KTLA TV had an old abandoned building on the lot. I would walk through the upstairs floor and smell heavy cigar smoke.

When I lived in Hollywood and I was Homeless I Slept behind the Rosevelt Hotel And yeh there was some things out of the ordinary that happen about wee hours of the morning I would be woken up by some guy staring at me that didnt look like he was in this century and it kind of spooked me out and i just froze and then he just disapeared and I thought I was dreaming but I was fully awake and not only that but also when I was working on a tv show at Warner Brothers studios one night I took a walk around the studio stage 29 and i heard strange noises now the thing was that the sound stage was locked for the night and I distinctly heard yelling and screaming and arguing and I raced back to the sound stage where i was working on and i will never forget those two weird and creepy experience
i worked at the comedy store for seven years and had multiple interactions with ghosts and supernatural entities including a chair being thrown at me from across the main room while nobody was in the room...that place is spooky af!!!
Fun facts: Grauman's Chinese Theater was also called Mann's Chinese Theater where they had the red carpet world premiere of "Batman Returns" and it was a filming location for Iron Man 3
I stayed there, at the Roosevelt Hotel, a few years back in 2008. I stayed in the room on the top floor where Montgomery Clift stayed during the shoot of his film "From Here To Eternality". Where he practiced his trumpet playing skills. I heard nothing. I sure didn't see anything. Nice place, though. Love Arthur Dark's voice, btw.
The HOLLYWOODLAND sign was intended as a temporary structure to advertise a housing development. It was left up because it had become synonymous with the whole region, not just the development, but fell into considerable disrepair and delapidation. When it was first restored in 1949, the local authority insisted the "LAND" part be removed as it was no longer just a development, but had become a whole district of Hollywood and so it has remained ever since.
LA might be a beautiful city, but with history comes history. Some restless spirits might still be out there, still thinking about the day they died, with a desire to force others into the same fate......

I have viewed movies in both Grauman’s and the Pantages theatres... That was decades ago...and I never felt uncomfortable... Cruised Hollywood Blvd. with my friends back in the 1960’s... So many great memories...❤️
It's a trip when these things happen. I see the connection with some of them. I know Marilyn & Montgomery Clift and Clark Gabel's last movie (together by the way) was "The Misfits ".Great movie. They were the epitome of tortured artistic souls of the time. Rest in Peace.
What about the Cecil Hotel and the Viper Room? Not to forget the locations associated with "The Black Dalia" murder; and the house actress Sharon Tate (who was pregnant) was killed in by the Manson Family.
I worked at Culver Studios Mansion doing security..Now when you walk up to 2nd floor.. Man ,it was scary ...I went up the narrow staircase and felt a chill and I seen who I found out out later it was Gloria Swanson ..It was the "round hat" and the glowing blue blue eyes !..And, I was having lunch at bungalow V..Where Lucile Ball and Desi did their writing ..I tried to crack the old little round safe connected to the staircase !! Bad mistake !!..Funny thing is..Now it's owned by Amazon.. Who is in charge of the newf Lucile and Desi movie !
The Culver Studio ..is a haunted place..When I found out..The history of this .I freaked out. And, I got ",assaulted" by working doing security on the 5th floor of the new Amazon building ..
An old age home? I honestly don’t think that’s a really bad idea! If GOD forbid there’s a fire, I would hate to see something like that happen! Hopefully they have a plan to get everyone out!!
This list is pretty pointless since a "haunted" building is complete nonsense. Any adult that still believes in ghosts seriously needs to reevaluate their basic logical reasoning skills.

The Hollywood sign, from what I've seen over 25 years of watching all things paranormal, suicide seems to cause hauntings for sure.
I'm pretty sure California's one of the most haunted states in the country, if not the most haunted.
