I've stayed at the 3)Banff Springs Hotel many times. It's so beautiful and at the same time very eerie. I knew about the ghost stories and at night I would walk around with my friends but never saw any spirits. I definitely recommend this Hotel.

A few years back, I was able to spend a night at the Banff Springs and receive a tour of the place. There are many stories that are told, the ones here and more. On the main floor, there are specialty shops and I chatted with a few employees when things were quiet - I’m sure everyone that works there has had an experience! I did go wandering on the 8th floor, and there is a missing door, and pot lights above where a door should be. Fascinating place with a very interesting history!
Took my daughter to the Banff Springs for a holiday. When we checked in our room was on the 8th floor and had to pass the "missing room" all the time. I knew the stories of the room and made sure not to tell my daughter, she was 8 at the time, until we passed the area before going home.
I have stayed at the Crescent Hotel in Eureka Springs, AR. It is a beautiful hotel in a cool, esoteric town. We did have odd stuff happen while we were there. My husband's cigarettes got moved around the room, and the TV would randomly turn on. Also, while we were in the main ballroom area having breakfast, one of the lids on the buffet dishes closed on its own. The chef working behind it said, "Yeah...that stuff happens all the time"...🤣 The Crescent not only does haunted tours, but they even sell some ghost hunting equipment like EMF detectors. They fully embrace their reputation.
I only watched this video because I live like an hour away from the Stanley Hotel, and was curious if it made the list. I genuinely did not think it would be #1.
I went to a wedding there once. It was a destination wedding, I live in NY I knew nothing about the hotel. I witnessed many things both in my room and walking around the grounds. The ghost in my room liked the windows open, but also liked to slam them shut, the bathroom and closet doors open, the water faucet always on, and it turned the tv off when I was in the room, and on when I Went out. It also liked to knock, play with the door chain and turn the lights off and on. One night it annoyed me so much I went to the bar for a cocktail and the piano decided to play for us. There was 4 people in the room no-one was near the piano. There is also a cave or something in the lower part of the hotel. I saw an apparition there. A transparent man dressed in colonial clothing. I was there for 3 days and will never forget it. I never experienced so much paranormal activity, but it wasnt scary. I didn’t feel any malice.
I decided to watch this video to see if the Banff Springs made it. So glad it did! I actually stayed there for a few nights with my family and a family friend. My siblings, the friend and I went looking for the hidden room. When we found where it should be we stood in the hall for about a minute then the hallway lights started flashing and we heard knocking on the other side of the wall... I don't know about the rest of you but I'm convinced
I’ve been to the Banff spring hotel too! I know exactly what you’re talking about! My family and I stayed there twice on different occasion. When we took photos by the hidden room with our phones, our phones captured some orbs. When I was 12, we were by the hidden room, I stared to choke. As if someone was choking me. But I don’t want to believe that it was a ghost. Just by body wanting me to see Jesus😂
So I stayed at the Stanley a few years ago for two nights. The first night there we had a thunderstorm and around 3am, I was woken up by someone whispering and then SCREAMING my name in my ear - but it sounded like it was far away. 100% there’s some energies in that place!
I stayed out the Creasant Hotel in Arkansas. I didn't see any ghost but it was very cold in the room. It's also a beautiful old hotel. Would stay there again no problem!
I stayed at the Lizzie Borden house. It was awesome. We held an EVP session and got some amazing responses. We have pictures of spirits around me daughter as she read a story to the children ghosts on the 3rd floor. Definitely haunted.
I wouldn't stay at most of these hotels but maybe the one with the helpful bellhop ghost or the heartbroken ghost I'm one of those people who can cheer people up
El Tovar Hotel at the South Rim of the Grand Canyon. Harvey girls wander around the halls all the time, saw these myself doing room service.. And someone was shot in the lounge/bar. Every so often the table settings are found to be levitating in the bar and the adjacent area in the dining room.
It didn’t make the list but the Queen Mary in Long Beach , CA is considered haunted. I stayed there for one night. And it was very creepy walking down the corridors at 3 am. Hearing footsteps behind me and walking into a dark room that suddenly felt super cold. It was summer 2019 .
I visited the ship in spring 2007. I went on what I think was their haunted tour. The tour included its pool area. Other than that, I spent some time out on the deck.
I worked a few events on the Queen Mary, can confirm that when you move away from the party or event and have to go to those quiet parts of the ship....it feels like someone or something is always watching.
I live about 12 miles from the Crescent Hotel and have several friends and family members that have worked at the hotel.Eureka Springs also has another hotel that is named The Basin Park Hotel that is also haunted
That hotel in Sweden that one had a heart broken ghost? Couldn't you make it feel A little bit better and then it will pass on or something? Like make it know that it's loved or something like that?
@@youthrevisitedagain I mean anyone can have a brokenheart right? As long as you can empathize and cheer them up I said any ghost. And it could pass on because of your actions
For my daughter's birthday, we stayed in the Langham hotel and didn't experience anything fishy. We stayed in room 625, not near room 333, so we are lucky. We did walk past room 333 but nothing happened as this was in the daytime. I did want to go at night and walk past room 333 to see if anything happens though. It was a nice hotel and would like to go back there and see if there were any signs of GHOSTS.
True! I hadn't even heard of the 26/11 attack until I watched Hotel Mumbai a couple years ago. It's on Hulu for anyone who is interested in watching the movie. I HIGHLY recommend it.
Knew the Mermaid would be here. Been there, didn't see anything strange but there's just this weird atmosphere about the place, like a constant 'gtfo' feeling.
I was born in calgary the largest and most populous city in alberta canada which for people not very geographically aware of western canada is a 1 hour 20 or so minute drive away from banff I've gone to banff and to see fairmont banff springs hotel take 3rd place feels pretty cool also the fact that banff springs got to take the thumbnail as its own.
The quote “All work and no play makes Jack a dull boy.” is from Stanley Kubrick’s The Shining (1980), a horror film that was a very successful adaptation of Steven King’s novel of the same name.
I live about a half hour from the Stanley Hotel. I've visited multiple times and have stayed there a handful of times. I've wanted to experience something, anything but, unfortunately I haven't. I don't know if it's all just rumor or if I'm just not sensitive/lucky enough to have experiences there. I have had experiences before and after as the house I lived in for almost 20 years was haunted so I know I'm able to experience paranormal activities, I just never have there.
The Manchester Inn in Middletown, Ohio is absolutely haunted unfortunately it closed down as a result of the active hauntings and was bought by a culinary school last I heard. The ghost of a young girl haunted the lobby of the hotel where she would play hide and seek with female receptionists. The most creepy haunting was of a room that once belonged to an elderly woman who lived there when the hotel was an apartment building; if anyone stays in her room she gets violent so the room was ultimately locked up permanently and no one was allowed to rent it. I myself heard the voice of the young girl calling out to me when I was alone on the elevator.

Oh please werewolves don’t exist they just are people that have a slight medical condition called hypertrcosis or excess hair that doesn’t stop growing but everywhere on the body. They are normal like everyone else just they may need shaving a little more than usual. They are like everyone else. And yes I did study the condition and yeah I know what I’m talking about.

The Cecil Hotel is a famously haunted hotel.
I was hoping it would be an honorable mention at least.
