Ooooo….shaniko merino! That is a 100% traceable USA wool and it’s so lovely! I just recently started spinning shaniko Merino wool and it’s so lovely to spin, I hadn’t found any yarn companies selling it yet though. Very exciting and the colors are so gorgeous.

Totally understand your excitement about hand dyed yarn. I’d love to know what they wash it in afterwards. If you’ve never crocheted or knit with hand dyed yarn that’s been washed in whatever magic elixir they use, you’re missing out. There’s just the most soothing beautiful scent with every single stitch. Once I bought my first hanks, I understood why Crystal smells her yarn orders! ❤

June is Pearl and moonstone,and Alexandrite, most common is Pearl. I have 2 sisters born in June and everything birthstone that I have purchased for them is Pearl and moonstone. Beautiful yarn and beautiful color..

Beautiful yarn pack. The Birthstone is Alexandrite is green in daylight and changes to a purple-red hue in incandescent or artificial light. I didn't know this, I just googled it. Thryss had her husband dye yarn for the 1st time and I won the raffle and got them both. I still have them 😍
Chocolate milk looks great w the color combo. The red seems a bit bright on tv but it’s probably not a true color vis camera.
