      Tons more on this Bronco to come, with cars getting more and more expensive....it is important to cover everything

    You're right, the clearance on that front seat is a bit short, you'd think it would go further forward, odd and quite impractical. I've noticed a lot of people hauling things or creating a sort of back 'bed' style with their 2 and 4 door Broncos. Maybe you could highlight mods and/or ways Ford allows you to improve upon this in case you want to use it like a truck, e.g. for the hunters out there, a deer, the construction worker, tool sets, etc. It will be interesting to see how these age in 10+ years and their longevity.

      Agreed! It seems weird that Ford wouldn't allow that seat to go just that LITTTTLE Bit further.
      Definitely stay tuned. Over the course of the time with the Bronco, I hope to (with budget in mind) showcase the cool stuff you can do with this machine.

    I'm a single man with no kids and I decided against both, the 2 & 4 door for lack of room. A 4 or 5 day fly fishing trip and I'm out of space. I went with a Ranger and couldn't be happier .

      Makes a ton of sense!
      May I ask, why the Ranger over the Maverick?

      @@MoneyShift Well, I need a bit more offroad prowess than the Maverick provides. I just got an XL Supercab, with rear differential lock. Didn't even spend the extra for the fx4.

    Really good review. Love your content. I have a 2023 two-door Badlands with Sasquatch. I could not agree more… This is a far better looking vehicle than the same model in the four-door. The four-door just screams out "I am a soccer mom". No offence to anyone, its just what pops into my mind. Parkiing ios so much easier with a shorter vehicle too. We almost never havemore than two people in my 2 dr. When we do I always ask the younger person to sit in the backseat and it's not a problem. I'm also 60 years old and don't carry much around, don't need to take a baby carriage or sports equipment anywhere. It's my daily driver that I get to have fun with along with my adult son. And yes, the 4 dr with the rag top looks unplanned and awkward to me. Hard top all the way!

    I'll make this simple: Do you have a kid in a car seat? If yes, get the 4-door.

    Ford nailed it with this new Bronco wonder if they will make one in the future based off the F series Platform like the 78-96 models loved those since they were short wheel base F Series trucks

    How about longer wheel base for towing

    • @MoneyShift
      @MoneyShift  Рік тому

      The Bronco’s strong suit in either case isn’t towing. With a 3,500 pound max regardless of door count, which is less than a Maverick, and suspension that sags more than your….nvm…in either case it isn’t a star.
      While the longer wheelbase will definitely provide more stability, it doesn’t add to the overall capacity. So unless you’re towing everyday (which if that’s the case you shouldn’t be buying this anyway), the 2-door is fine.

    • @jeffk464
      @jeffk464 Рік тому

      @@MoneyShift Well I would like to tow a aluminum fishing/ski boat that all up weighs about 3,000 lbs. Honestly I might see what the 2024 ranger is like, it also gets better mpg's for some reason. I am well aware of the fact that a short wheel base with short overhangs is what you want for offroading though. I don't care about rear seat room in fact if it had a flat floor I would just take them out.

    I wanted the 2 door over everything, but ultimately I have a toddler and putting him in a car seat back there is not practical. I also had to sell all of this to my wive so...

  • @kylemoore2068

    Isn't the 2 door a 4 passenger, while the 4 a 5 passenger? If they are both 5, then it looks like there is' a difference of a 50/50 split vs a 30/70?

    • @MoneyShift
      @MoneyShift  Рік тому +2

      You are correct!
      The 4-door can seat 5, but it is a TIGHT 5. So technically 1 more can be seated, but that would not be comfortable for a drive longer than 30 seconds.
      If you go to 4:52 in the video, you can see that you are also correct, it is a 70/30 split instead of 50/50.
      I will say that the 4-door Bronco most certainly does have more cargo room. Things like baby carriages, and large items, fit easier in the 4-door. For me? Not a good enough reason to go 4-door. The proportions of the 2 fit the design perfect!

      Honestly seating 3 in the back of a 4 door isn't that bad (especially for kids). A 4 door backseat is much wider bc you are sitting in front of the rear wheel wells where as in the 2 door it's narrower bc you are inbetween the wells.
