Really, all SMN needs (at least as a band-aid fix) are just additional OCDs they can weave into the usual spellcasts. The Bahamut/Phoenix phases have felt pretty good between mashing their single-target spell inbetween Festers and enkindles. But we've only had 2 fester charges every minute since EW which feels ass. You mash everything at the start, then get bored pressing one single button over and over again until it's over. Searing Flash felt like getting your old 3rd fester charge back which is nice, but you get ONE EVER TWO MINUTES.
My question is what's even the more preferred summon order to use for the Egis, I still feel like SMN is dependent so much on if there's a lot of raid buffs or not
There is no “preferred” order. You can change the order to be more convenient for certain job mechanics (i.e. choosing Garuda over Titan if the boss is going to be stationary at that specific moment of the fight), but it literally doesn’t matter otherwise.
For console folks there's also azizarar's Stone Sky Sea calculator, where you can calculate DPS based on time remaining on your SSS trial but it hasn't been updated for Dawntrail yet.
@@lushdontu4015 It can if you use your Searing Light 1 or 2 GCD's later. With the right timing you can get the initial hit of your first primal and one or two casts. I think Titan can get the most potency into the end of the buff window, so he's probably the optimal choice.

The Rotation changed from Bahamut -> Phoenix to Sol-Bahamut -> Bahamut -> Sol-Bahamut -> Phoenix. You can see the Summoner bar change to Phoenix after the second Sol-Bahamut in the video. But this also mean you'll never see Phoenix at the puppet because it'll come up at the three minute mark...
i say DRK is the worst job, at least SMN has badass animations and does what it's supposed to, DRK's stuff looks outdated especially that cursed 123 combo, weak tanking, and don't get me started on the trash TBN and grabage traits.

Suggest to go read up in Balance on the optimal opener.. Your searing light timing is too early

I used garuda-titan-ifrit... garuda is fast attacking thats why first i think and her wind aoe for dot damage

You need to glamour that head piece with the horn, it's part of the job identity.

Weaker than Red Mage with none of the group utility. Literally just a gimped Red Mage
