Glad to see this going in the right direct. Can't wait to see your reaction vid when it's all said and done.
Oh yea man! Gonna be a nice stout built unit. Can't wait
Good to see you back! Haven’t popped up in my feed in a while
Thank you! I've been uploading videos check out my channel!!! Also make sure the bell notification is tapped too! Thank u man!
Man up know your trans and the weak points too of 68 rfe. People need to check out the video and learn especially if they own a Dodge Diesel. Just because you buy a truck doesn't mean it's all peachy. You need to know what fails. You the Man! Thanks for speaking true! Not only is your truck built, but under the hood and the internals. J.B Reviews needs to learn from you. Pass it on to the Weaknesses of Dodge Transmissions. How to solve those problems. Excellent information! Remember heat is the enemy and having extra clutches help greatly along with the updated internals. Get that biggest transmission cooler you can. Your transmission will be a 68rfe billet beast 💪🏽. God bless 🙏🏽
Appreciate it man and your absolutely correct!

Looking forward to see the final product. Great video as always. Thank you very much!!👍
Me too man it gonna be awesome!
@@EVERYTHANGDIESEL No doubt 😀
This is the same build I have from a local shop it’s pretty good bro definitely holds power just make sure to drive normal don’t drive easy like all these tuning companies say you need to for 500 miles the 68 ride adapts to your driving habits consistently. Just drive in the tune and line pressure you are DD and leave it like that for 500 miles
Hell yea appreciate the insight bro thank you! I was looking into a stand alone trans tuner but hearing confirms I don't need one.
@@EVERYTHANGDIESEL yeah you should honestly only need it to change line pressure maybe shift points but I doubt it. it shifts pretty good. I’m looking for a company that will tune my tcm I’m still running the line pressure from the h&s OD file with the line pressure maxed out at 170. But since I’ve gone to efi I don’t have mm anymore. I found a tcm only file but I would have to run HPT but I don’t really want to buy another device. Any suggestions?? I have an 08
Love my revanchist trans
Another awesome video, thank you
Appreciate it thank u!!!
Real world shit man. Sucks having your Cummins hobbled, you have a good attitude about it all. I just had my truck down for a few weeks with a bricked pcm…brand new and dead in the water. It’s a sick feeling when reality sets in and you realize the amount of money you could be out. Keep up the good videos…can’t wait to see her up and running again with that new turbo and trans!!!
Yea it sucks when these trucks go down but it comes with the territory lol
You should do a list of the part you bought for the trans
🔥🔥🔥
Last I heard is Transgo has bought out revmax but staying branded as revmax. Also if your needing other parts why not go with Randy's transmission. They are closer to you so it would probably be easier to get ahold of for replacement parts. I'm not knocking revmax as I just installed a 850 series and love it!!!
I haven't heard that I was just talking to Tom co owner of revmax and heard nothing of that. I'd be surprised to see if they sold it.
You should also order the baby maker valve body from Randy’s transmissions. Check them out
I already have a revmax billet valve body
Gonna be ready for another 160k
Absolutely man!
Hey man!! You saw ATS makes an Allison trans for the Cummins 😮
Yes I did
Yeeyeeeee
Yessuh
Awesome Cam can wait to see it together. I love my randy's transmissions. You can contact fleece they buy the turbos if no one buys it..
How come you didn't get the OD drum put together already?
I sold the turbo on ebay already appreciate it man. And I bought the Diy drum cause I'm paying a shop to rebuild it to revmax spec so they can do that part and save me $450.
@EVERYTHANG DIESEL yeah I thought about doing it the same way you are but I could find a good builder near me. But I was about to pull the trigger with suncoast but the had a 3 week wait so I went with randy's. Revmax and randy's were my top choices. What will it cost u all in?
Everything total I'll be around 6kish for 750hp trans. Including labor. I was able to get a military discount from revmax and the installer. Yea I had to search long and hard to find a shop I trusted near me in San Diego
@EVERYTHANG DIESEL that's not bad at all. Is the builder going to give you a warranty? Don't go to next-gen..lol
I have 2017 2500 need to do delete
Great video and what looks to be a very stout build on your 68rfe! I have quite a few Revmax parts in my built 68rfe. I think you're going to be very happy with it!
From what I've been told by two very reputable shops, the billet pump body is unnecessary unless you're going for 800hp+ and even then it's not a complete necessity. Pump failures and even scoring on the pump plates are far and few between. But hey, if you have the money, why not. I was going to throw it in mine but was basically told that it would just be a waste since I don't plan on going over 650hp to 725hp.
Randy's Transmissions don't use a billet pump body until their stage 3 900hp transmission, my local reputable builder doesn't use one until his stage 4 1000hp transmission and Red Horse Motorsports doesn't use a billet pump body in any of theirs, even their Warhorse 1000 doesn't use one and they have the record I believe for most power into a 68rfe. That was good enough for me. YMMV.
One other part that you may want to consider and can be added after the fact is the ATS Case Brace. I know ATS gets a bad rep from a lot of people but that is one nice piece they make that does help brace the case from the top side while a cast aluminum deep pan braces the case from the under side. The case cracking is not a huge issue but if you look through pretty much every built transmissions warranty from any builder it states that a cracked case is NOT covered. So anything I can do to prevent that for not a huge sum of money, I'm going to do it.
What do you think of the Benton’s valve body ?
Never ran them or heard of them until now but they run a billet dnj channel plate. I'm sure they are good. I can only vow for parts I've ran and the revmax valve bodies are awesome!!
Love the content, I'm hoping to get a 2009 Mega Cab cummins myself. I have several mods in mind, I've watched a few of your videos and some others. I'm estimating to get the 6.7 to a 7.5 and get close to 40mpg I know a few things I need to do in order to reach those figures but I'm excited.
Thats awesome bro! Just stick to your plans and you'll make it
Is there a parts list for this 68rfe build? I’m on the fence with a G56 Swap or building my 68. Love the videos!
In this video I show on the screen the parts list. If u pause it u can see the parts and part numbers
@@EVERYTHANGDIESEL Thanks brother! Keep up these amazing videos!!
Can you break down the cost of the entire kit that you got?
Yea once I get all the parts in I can go over that
Right on 👍
You have the contact info for the place in Phx ?
Is it called Tier one Transmission?
Thxs
Yea tier one
Your redoing the trans or having some one else did it
Having someone rebuild it like I mentioned in the video
@@EVERYTHANGDIESEL ok. I must not caught it.
@@shepherdsfleetservicesllc8147 all good haha
Revmax is good 👍🏻 Raybestos GPZ torque kit are hard to beat 🪘
Thats what I heard man!
@@EVERYTHANGDIESEL The only clutch material that's better is ALTO G3 power packs!!
What hp goal you have in mind?
Around 650-700hp. Just a reliable daily driver/tow rig
G’day mate I’ve been watching for a while now. Will the 68rfe hold up to that sort of power level once it’s built? Compared to a Allison swap from ATS that’s what I had in mind.
@@theclinchdrive Like an Allison or any other trans, the 68rfe will hold the amount of power that you build it for. There are 68rfe's that can hold 1000+ whp. Cam's build is good for around 750whp.
@@monsterram6617 Yeah is that right, I was skeptical due to the internal component size between the two. I live in Australia so I would much rather get a built box sent over from the USA. I wouldn’t bother wasting my time getting it built here. My HP goal would be 600hp compound turbos RAM 2500 used on minesites for my heave diesel mechanical business. Are you able to assist me in the right direction as a Allison is twice the $$ amount
@@theclinchdrive A built Allison swap is considerably expensive but a built 68rfe isn't cheap either. For fully built units, I'd contact RevMax or Randy's Transmissions. If that's too pricy try Red Horse Transmissions. But no matter who builds your 68, you're going to need a good tune. The 68rfe is computer controlled and both the transmission and engine tuning are combined into one TCM file, and the stock tune isn't going to cut it for your goals. Due to the situation here in the US, I do not have any recommendations as to where to find a good tuner. You'd have to source that on you end.
