It's FINALLY time for me to get into this game. I still can't believe it, but I'm already SO hooked. The gameplay, story, graqhics, Arthur... I mean, hello?! I cannot wait to post the second part for this & keep playing. This game is so addicting and I just feel like I want/need to do and explore every single little thing. Please keep in mind that this a first, blind playthrough so try to be patient with me figuring out stuff. Tips are of course appreciated (no spoilers tho)! Thank you guys for watching and for joining me on this adventure 🤠💗🐎
A quick note… This game has an annoying habit of cutting of dialogue if you progress to much, especially in the beginning when you’re riding with people on horses. If you want to hear it all take your time. Otherwise it’s a fantastic game with so much to find and discover, honestly I spent the better part of a month and half just wondering around and not progressing the story, the game took note of my deviation, it’s insanely detailed and the devs did so much work on it it’s crazy. They deserve huge praise for all they did which is a lot, playing the main story can be done pretty quickly, but thats not even half of what’s in this game.
Watching you play for the first time is enjoyable. You seem to have a good understanding on how video games work. Most of the first time players I watched so far act like they haven’t ever played a video game before. Very frustrating to watch. lol
Wow, I'm impressed. I've seen about 20-30 playthroughs of this game (first chapter), but nobody did the start better than you. Excellent first shooting and looting the cabin like a pro. And you're the only one, who figured out that your can talk to everyone (Hosea,Dutch) from the beginning. Very good job so far. My advice: Don't sleep at night, half of the game is only visible at night. Don't miss that.
Wow, thank you so much! And I've already kinda skipped the first night in the second episode by walking around Valentine and talking to random people/doing side stuff 🤠
@Prymbra I have spent around 5k hours in story mode and still find things from time to time in playthroughs, I haven't encountered yet. Enjoy your playthrough. It's one of my top three games of all times(I have started with the Atari2600, so I have played quite a few) and I don't even like open world games. 🤷🏼♂️🤠
Just finished this masterpiece a month ago and I can easily say this is the greatest character and story of all time. It starts out slow, but once you get to chapter 5, you’re gonna experience some heart dropping waves of emotions. Oh how I wish I can play this game for the first time again. Truly unbelievable game and I can’t wait to watch you play ❤
Some basic tips (No spoilers). 1 - There is a setting in the menu where you can switch on names, it will make it easier for you to learn the gang members & know who's talking. 2 - Treat Arthur as you would yourself, make sure he eats two or three times per day, try to sleep at night to help refill your health cores, give him a bath & haircut/shave, buy him new clothes, keep your guns clean. (Some of these things wont be available to you just yet but they soon will be). 3 - Treat your horse as if it was your pet, feed it & brush it regularly to help maintain it's health, always try to hitch your horse when you're at camp or in town as it will help it to recharge it's cores. 4 - Take your time around the camp, there are soooo many conversations, back stories & lore that get filled in by hanging around at camp. Make sure to go hunting regularly for the camp aswell, a well fed camp is a happy camp. 5 - There are times during the game where you'll get to make a choice about what happens, don't take too long in making your decision as some of them are on timers & if you don't pick quickly the game will decide the outcome for you, and the game doesn't always make the best choice. This game has so much to offer & you'll get the best experience if you truly immerse yourself & try to live as real a life as possible. Looking forward to watching your playthrough, I hope you have as much fun as I did!
The only thing I would add to this list is a few things about Arthur’s Journal and dialogue I have seen countless play through where people rush and skip through important dialogue options, or entire conversations and then they are confused or wondering what’s happened later on in the game Major details about a character could be mentioned, and people would have to go back and watch a video or replay the mission just to get the dialogue options they missed so I would add two things something about his journal and to pay attention to dialogue. Make sure you don’t rush dialogue or miss anything important
I've watched a lot of playthroughs of this game and I've gotta say that was one of the smoothest chapter 1's I have ever seen. I'll be back for the next video.
You're doing an awesome job playing this game (my all-time favorite). I have seen many try and fail to loot properly, shoot properly, even ride the horse properly. Just make sure you take time to smell the roses (side missions and events) and always look out for the camp-fresh meat for the stew, money for the box, perform chores to inspire others, and do everything you can to upgrade the camp's features, so as improve everyone else's mood. It pays off!
It is so awesome to see you play this game. You have been given a very important job of keeping the land safe from troublemakers. I know you are going to do a great job.
Oh it's gonna be good. This is one of the best plot- and character-driven games ever released. Be brave, Jenni, the story and the emotional charge of RDR2 is no joke, it's gonna be a long, crazy and heart-wrenching ride, but it's 120% worth it. I'm so excited to watch you play this masterpiece. Good luck!
Nice to see some actual good gameplay of this amazing game in real 4k. Good on you for waiting to upgrade your setup cuz the video quality is awesome on my 4k monitor
i'm so happy i found this. i don't have much time for any gaming these days, let alone a 4th or 5th red dead playthrough (lol) and none of my friends are really into games like i am. i've always wanted experience someone else playing it for the first time, going in totally blind just like i did. thanks for this!
Love this game, it is almost like a playable movie. It's so good I'm actually doing my second playthrough at the moment! Play through all the chapters very slowly and try to do all the white-colored missions and encounters whenever you can, because they are often time-limited. (Some missions are only available at certain times in certain chapters). Play it at your own pace, that's what makes this game fun, you can always play through it another time and run into new things.
You will really enjoy this game! I just started playing it last year. It's amazing! One small bit of advice that I tell everyone... when it comes time to go with Hosea to Valentine and take the big black horse to the stables and decide if you want to sell it, don't sell it! Stable it. Once you sell him he's gone and they give you a scrawny horse instead. Every single new player that sells that big beautiful black horse regrets it immediately afterwards, including myself lol. 🐴
Hello Prymbra! (Jenni) I’m very excited for you to experience the amazing story that is Red Dead Redemption, from the details, to graphics, to just mechanics of how everything falls together. It’s a masterpiece in my eyes because I’m biased to it being my favorite game alongside the Last of Us series. I hope you play the way you want and aren’t pressured to play the way others want, explore, have fun, loot like your heart desires! Also a tip, be on the lookout for side quests because some pop up around certain in game time. (Another thing, choices matter in this game, there’s different outcomes for each good or bad decision) Happy playing! ❤
Howdy Prymbra, New sub here. Happy to see you playing my favorite game. The scenery, story and detail of this 5 year old game is going to blow your mind. This world was created to explore and immerse yourself into, So enjoy being an outlaw in 1899. Edit: Closing chest, drawers and cupboards, will give a better chance for loot to respawn later in the game.
This is a very complex game, tons of dialogue tons of things to do. Hunting has very specific weapons for each type of animal, you have to keep your guns clean or wotherwise they won't do any damage (you don't need to clean them all the time, just when the durability stat decreases enough) you need to eat, you need to feed your horse and to clean him. Dialogue is based on chapters and through missions, so hang around camp as much as you can, during the day, or night. You can explore a lot and find unique stuff, also you can miss certain things because they are chapter of mission specific. So search evey place you go to :) Have fun with the game and be prepared for a long series :) Also there is an option to turn on for dialogue to indicate who is talking
Makes sense to start with the second game because it´s a prequel to the first one. Chapter two is open worldish but the missions most times are still kind of tutorial missions as you will see. So if somethings not gonna work it might be you didn´t "learned" i so far. Like pat your horse in chapter one. Should work now but you still can´t brush it before a certain mission is done. 😉
I'm really glad that you are playing RDR2 I like westerns a lot being from Oklahoma and this state has had it's share of outlaws and gunmen have a great time and thanks Jenni.🤠🐴 🌵🐎🐎🌵
Wow, great 1st playthrough. Did a great job of initiating dialogue. Side note...there are over 500 thousand lines of dialogue in this game. Enjoy this MASTERPIECE of a game.
I'm so glad you're playing RDR! It's the best game ever! 🙂 Yes, from now on it's full open world, but the next few missions still have some tutorial elements (like unlocking certain game mechanics, etc.). Oh, and a little tip for the start: Go to the game options and turn on the speaker's name next to subtitles. It makes things much more easier, especially since this game has a ton of characters and sometimes it's not easy to catch who's saying what. Especially early on, when you're still not completely familiar with all of them. I'm so glad you like RDR, looking forward to the next episode. Outlaws for life! 🙂
38:03 Don't know if you noticed but you could call the wolves to attract them. Also, you turn pages with rb and lb on the journal, with the d-pad you're turning whole chapters.
Excited to see a walkthrough for this game, its going to be for sure a long one and in for some story here. Theres also the first game rdr1 hope you would also consider playing after this game to see the full story.
You will love this! Can't wait. Play it how you want, this is your playthrough and your decisions should be yours, not the comment section. The comments will tell you to play it the same way as everyone else on youtube.
A few things to think about as you play: - keep glancing at your radar: it will tell you many things, such as which direction your destination is, the quickest path to get there, the direction of distant enemies (red outline along the radar perimeter), where close up enemies are (red dots on the radar), nearby NPCs that you can interact with (white dots on radar), side missions (white patched areas), and main missions (yellow dots/patches). You probably already know this from the tutorial (chapter 1), but it doesn't hurt to be reminded. - different types of ammo. Regular ammo does the least damage. You can buy certain kinds of ammo from stores and you can craft other kinds. - hunting is a big part of this game, and the compendium will tell you what weapons work best for getting a perfect pelt/carcass, once you've seen a new animal. Binoculars are great for searching for animals, as well as the eagle eye skill. - watch out for predators as you're out and about. Your horse can be spooked fairly easily by certain animals. - crafting is another big part of this game. Not only food and potions, ammo, items for your horse, but you can craft items for camp, for your own personal storage, and you will also be able to craft items that will enhance your gameplay. - study anything you haven't discovered yet. Your compendium will quickly fill out and once an animal is identified, you'll be able to tell if it's a 1,2, or 3 star animal afterward. - search buildings, wagons, etc. thoroughly, as you'll occasionally come across certain unique items used for crafting special things. Eagle eye will come in handy here, as it will highlight items you can use. - spend a significant amount of time in camp. Walk around, listen to conversations, talk to people, and read various letters left in the open by other gang members. - your journal will be updated often. Read it as much as you like. -above all, take your time and have fun. It's a wonderful game. Enjoy!
I actually had the most fun when I turned off the radar and changed it to compass only, and radar when I pressed up (or down?) on the d-pad! I hate walking around beautiful worlds and finding myself staring at the corner of the screen 80% of the time.
@@cgollimusic I've watched a lot of streamers make a lot of mistakes that they probably wouldn't have made if only they had checked their radar more often, so that's why I suggested it. If you don't want to rely on it too much, then by all means do what makes the game fun for you!
I just started playing this game like 3 weeks ago and have already finished it, but am trying to get 100% completion currently, can’t wait to binge these videos, also nice shooting!
I just subscribed and found your channel this game is massive and take your time do all the strangers missions and hunt and fish it’s a life experience and the journey is once in a lifetime A MASTERPIECE
This was awesome! You're a natural for a first playthrough, seems like you're a real gamer lmao. Definitely turn on the speaker name for subtitles in the settings, it will help you learn everybody and make knowing who is talking much easier! But great first episode!
glad to see you play this masterpiece ( you should check out the textures quality it seems something wrong with it) so you can get the best experience💯, anything under ultra (texture) option in this game looks bad.
Holy shit why did i missed this playthrough Shame on me ! And you finished it so alot of hours for me to enjoy while my leg is broken and im stuck at home. Thanks for all you lovely videos Much love from the Netherlands ! OMG they killed Jenny within 10 minutes Rude ! Poor Jenny 😉Try to stay warm
Whoa! I've been hoping you'd take on this game sooner than later and can't wait to come along on your adventure. You are going to love this journey. I'm sure it will be the best one ever! ❤
@RedDeadNotoriousPlayer I was wondering because I've heard other Let's Play UA-camrs have their husband or wife screen their comments for specific games that they don't want to get spoiled.
Im just gonna say, enjoy this game, it has A LOT of details, dialogues, random things that can be disturbing to real funny and a lot of places to explore and find, just take your time and enjoy everything
You're in for a treat. This is one great game. A little non-spoilery tip I hope you don't consider backseating. Go into options and enable "show speaker name" in the subtitles. Sometimes many people speak at once, and that may help a little to avoid confusion.
Always keep an eye on the map and your stats. Take care of your horse. Eat well. Explore as much as possible as that's almost the most fun part. I envy you. The 1st time is awesome. And don't forget to appreciate the landscape. And tame horses... 😂 And... And...
I enjoyed The Last of us, thanks for that, and thank you for the adjustments to the picture-in-picture of yourself, the lighting is perfect, far easier on the eye. Lastly, congratulations on your fluency in English, excellent!
Oh my gosh, finally, I have been waiting for you to play this. For me, this is easily the best game i have ever played in my 48 years. The story, graphics, music etc is just amazing. You will love it im sure, enjoy the ride Jen
One tip is that if you move to quick dialogue will be cut off, if you don't care about that it's no big deal but sometimes it can be interesting. Another thing is sometimes the game will slow you and your horse down on purpose which can be annoying especially if your going for Gold status on each mission. If you care about achieving gold for each mission it's best to look up what you need to do before the mission to get gold. Otherwise just enjoy the experience. this is the type of game that has secrets everywhere. I'm on my third playthrough and I still find new things and dialogue.
Hello Jennie, I have a suggestion for you. Try to buy the best horse and bond with it, feed, pat, clean. Take it slow, interact with npcs around you, help them, do chore in camp. It's ok to lose some honor points but do not worry you can gain by interacting with npcs, doing chores and doing side quests. PLEASE DO NOT RUSH STORY 🙏. Embrace this masterpiece. You can only enjoy it once. 😊
There is not "the best horse" but other than that I agree. Apart from "you can only enjoy it once, personally I enjoy it for the 4th time and no ending of enjoying in sight. :)
Great game. I love open world games, I'm still hooked on Fallout 4. This makes me wonder what games will be like in a decades time especially now AI is taking off exponentially. It's funny to look back to the excitement I felt playing Space Invaders. Gawd I feel old! :) Probably not your sort of thing but Flight Simulator 2020 is amazing. Happy gaming...
Hi let ne tell you some quick stuff avoid all spoilers cause the game is just 10/10 and really good also yeah keep good honor not bad also rdr2 is a prequel and yeah so good luck 👍
Trust me rockstar games is the best company of the videogames the open world is variety and live that you can riding the horse and find a lot of things and the caracters have personalities and you can interact with them
From someone who loves this game and has played it for many hundred hours I would like to give you some tips/ advice: Take it slow, take time to explore and enjoy the scenery and don't let horse stats or people fool you in thinking "this is the best horse". There are other things than just speed and acceleration which are important and depending on your playstyle, some horses might suit you better than others and every horse has a bit of a own "personality". Maybe try different ones and stick with what you feel more comfortable with and enjoy this world and story. :) And could you turn the games volume up a bit? You are a bit loud in comparison. :)
Yea BOAHH,Jenni gonna have a great time playing this game. Tips, you can turn subtitle with name. So you can know who's talking to who. There are A LOT of dialogue in this game 👌🏼
Hey Prymbra, I noticed you have a low resolution ground texture bug. Can see it all over, 1:18:45 for example. The wood on the floor is meant to look a LOT better than that. Just letting you know, I don't wanna start writing a guide here on which files to look at hahah, but if you need some help fixing that out I'm sure any of us would be happy to help. If it does bother you, you can Google it, I think it's a matter of letting some settings reset if I'm not mistaken.
I updated my graphics card before recording the second part and that instantly fixed it since NVIDIA switched basically all settings to ultra (it was on high before) I didn't even see the low res issue, but now that you've said it I see an insane difference in the gameplay footage of this episode and the second one lmao
So glad to see you play this masterpiece of a game.
Tip to learn names of the gang members: there should be an option for speaker subtitles in the options
A quick note… This game has an annoying habit of cutting of dialogue if you progress to much, especially in the beginning when you’re riding with people on horses. If you want to hear it all take your time.

Breaking the wheel less than a minute before it was scripted to happen was hilarious.
😭😭 I swear they did that just to spite me
women :D
Wow, I'm impressed. I've seen about 20-30 playthroughs of this game (first chapter), but nobody did the start better than you. Excellent first shooting and looting the cabin like a pro. Wow, thank you so much! And I've already kinda skipped the first night in the second episode by walking around Valentine and talking to random people/doing side stuff 🤠
I love the way you play games. You explore, read, take in your surroundings plus you've got a sick aim. Yeah, this is going to be a great playthrough.
Hell yeah, finally! Please take your time with this game, it's an absolute masterpiece! Don't miss out on the side missions 😉
That's what I plan on doing! I'm 100% gonna miss some stuff but I really want to do every single thing 😭

The best advice that I've ever heard someone tell a new player....well done.
No, don't sleep at night. You'll miss animals, side missions, NPCs and atmosphere. Just rest in camp to recover.
I've finished this game a week ago, and let me tell you, you're in for a ride. Its long but so worth it. Hope you love it as much as i did
I'm already so in love with this game and I'm sure it's only gonna get better! ☺️
It feels like literally every other day someone plays this amazing game fir the first time
I've watched a lot of playthroughs of this game and I've gotta say that was one of the smoothest chapter 1's I have ever seen. I'll be back for the next video.
That's so kind, thank you ☺️ I try to do my best while recording playthroughs.
1:57:07 I'm pretty sure this is an homage to that scene in Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid.
Nice, finally you are playing this one! Take your time with this one because its full with side missions and bunch of exploring. Have fun😉
Thank you! ☺️

Woah I actually did decide to keep it! Wasn't sure at first but it just felt so weird to sell that poor horse 😭 glad I kept him!
@@Prymbra good job!! So many people sell him thinking they are going to get a big choice of horses. But they don't! I'm so glad you kept him!
@iamme25yago me too! 🙂 i went back and bought a strawberry roan Ardennes that I named Peach 🍑
@iamme25yago awww Im sorry 😢 that's a cute name. ❤️

The way Arthur says “Can I help a little?” During the train robbery😅 Favorite line delivery in the whole game
You’re already doing so well keep it up
Thank you! ☺️💗

Oh wow I didn't know that either. I always wondered why it gave you the option to close them. Thx!
Just what I needed. Another rdr2 playthrough to watch. I'm currently keeping up with 4 lol

"Am I see the horse balls, come on" 😂😂😂
Excited to see a walkthrough for this game, its going to be for sure a long one and in for some story here. Theres also the first game rdr1 hope you would also consider playing after this game to see the full story.
Came across your channel recently and was excited to see this!
Welcome to the channel! Hope you enjoy the playthrough(s) 😊🤠💗
You will love this! Can't wait. Play it how you want, this is your playthrough and your decisions should be yours, not the comment section. The comments will tell you to play it the same way as everyone else on youtube.
Reading your channel description makes me confident that you're perfect. PS turn on speaker subtitles so you can learn names easier
A few things to think about as you play:
- keep glancing at your radar: it will tell you many things, such as which direction your destination is, the quickest path to get there, the direction of distant enemies (red outline along the radar perimeter), where close up enemies are (red dots on the radar), nearby NPCs that you can interact with (white dots on radar), side missions (white patched areas), and main missions (yellow dots/patches).
Thank you! Good luck with the 100% 🤗 hope you'll enjoy the playthrough!
I'm so glad to see this! You'll love it!
Already in love!!! 🤠
Welcome to the journey! Take your time and explore.
Finally! I'm so excited to watch this play through! You're in for such a well written ride!
Finally 🙌🏻 I was waiting for this video from very long time and when you posted story on your Instagram I'm directly here
Aww haha, thank you for joining me on this! :)
This is one of the best video game stories. I'm wondering if it's possible to have someone screen the comments for spoilers for you?
@RedDeadNotoriousPlayer I was wondering because I've heard other Let's Play UA-camrs have their husband or wife screen their comments for specific games that they don't want to get spoiled.
Ha ha Ha !!
laughed so hard when your wagon wheel fell off a second time.
Your background looks so awesome Jenni
Aaa thank you!!!
Gameplay-tip (I have just started watching) you can access the map by long-pressing the start-button (instead of pausing and then choose "map")
Im just gonna say, enjoy this game, it has A LOT of details, dialogues, random things that can be disturbing to real funny and a lot of places to explore and find, just take your time and enjoy everything
I subscribed based on this video alone. Excellent use of cover and making use of the surroundings to your advantage. Well done!
Thank you so much! :)
You're in for a treat. This is one great game. A little non-spoilery tip I hope you don't consider backseating. Go into options and enable "show speaker name" in the subtitles. Sometimes many people speak at once, and that may help a little to avoid confusion.
1:20:43 wow I never saw this interaction before
A tip would be to hunt alot once you do a mission with hoesa it unlocks hunting and its really fun.
It's a lot of fun but also pretty time consuming! 😅
@@Prymbra yeah, i took like 2 hours getting panthers, cougers and wolfs but it had great rewards!
55:23 "Im trusting Dutch, and his dutchment" 😋
She said judgment, bruh.
@@GoatOfTheMountains I know, I was joking, relax 😊
@@rawsnake Fair. Net be rife with such perils.
Always keep an eye on the map and your stats. Take care of your horse. Eat well. Explore as much as possible as that's almost the most fun part.
I envy you. The 1st time is awesome.
And don't forget to appreciate the landscape. And tame horses... 😂
And... And...
Thanks to rdr2 I just found your channel. I envy you. I wish I could play this game again for the first time. I hope you enjoy Arthur's story.
I enjoyed The Last of us, thanks for that, and thank you for the adjustments to the picture-in-picture of yourself, the lighting is perfect, far easier on the eye. Lastly, congratulations on your fluency in English, excellent!
i just found your channel and i started to watch your playthru, seems good so far, some others dont listen to the characters much but i see you do :)
how are there so many people JUST learning about this game??
I've known about it for quite some time, just never decided on playing it until now!
you are in for a treat @@Prymbra
Oh my gosh, finally, I have been waiting for you to play this. For me, this is easily the best game i have ever played in my 48 years. The story, graphics, music etc is just amazing. You will love it im sure, enjoy the ride Jen
Thank you! I'm enjoying the ride 🤠💗
So excited 😄
SAME 🗣️🗣️🗣️
One tip is that if you move to quick dialogue will be cut off, if you don't care about that it's no big deal but sometimes it can be interesting.
The only pointless thing in the game is the "Gold Medal" category with its totally nonsensical requirements...
Bad Advice. Never buy a horse get one in the wilderness. Not worth the money. Or even steal one
I love your gameplay and playstyle so much!! And I love snow as much as you 😉
Hi I’m new to your channel just watched your red dead video good job for your first play through
Thank you! Welcome to the channel ☺️
49:45
Yes, yes that's what you're seeing.
And yes they have additional physics.
Hi let ne tell you some quick stuff avoid all spoilers cause the game is just 10/10 and really good also yeah keep good honor not bad also rdr2 is a prequel and yeah so good luck 👍
1:06:13
"Arthur stop searching stuff and come stand here for a second so I can tell you to search stuff."
😭😭
And could you turn the games volume up a bit? You are a bit loud in comparison. :)
This is going to be a good one, looking forward to this series.
I'm glad I'm not the only one who can't resist referencing the Man Bijt Hond segment whenever anyone says "Ok, let's go" 😂
11:31 "I dont like him"
Me: Agreed
My dear strap yourself in because you are about to play, at the moment, the greatest game ever. Good luck.
Wow! You can shoot! Better than most I've seen playing this on UA-cam.
That's the best compliment ever for me, thank you :)
Been waiting for this!
You gonna have a blast with this! (and so your channel, you'll make numbers with this xD ^^)
Am currently hovering in chapter 5 i will wait ontill u catch up to go further 😊
"Are those balls? Am I seeing horse balls?" 🤣
This is gonna be one long game for you to play. 👍
This game deserves a movie🥲. You will love it!
14:44
Damn, going full Han Solo there.
lol took me sec
I updated my graphics card before recording the second part and that instantly fixed it since NVIDIA switched basically all settings to ultra (it was on high before)
I didn't even see the low res issue, but now that you've said it I see an insane difference in the gameplay footage of this episode and the second one lmao
@@Prymbra ah great! I get irritated with that kinda stuff hahah glad you got it sorted keep up the videos ♥️
This game is a long one, just a heads up
Still the Greatest game ever made!..
You didn't search the desk drawer
Can't wait to watch this 😍😍😍😍
Oh you’re in for one hell of a ride, thats for sure
Good Shooting, amazing.
Thank you! ☺️
Well young lady you are quite the natural with these old school weapons. You are in for quite the adventure. 😊
It's so refreshing to see people who can read cursive.
Who cant
