- Can a premium touring scooter go against an entry-level sports bike? The BMW C 400 GT might be out of its element on a drag strip but with an identical 34hp, it just might have what it takes against the BMW G310 RR.

So, thus concluded TVS Apache RR310 is the bike to buy for 1/3rd of the price😁. Please don't tell me that's a G 310RR😅.
Man, only if C 400 GT was a bit cheaper and manufactured in India, it can actually be a hot seller.. It's probably the best scooter you can get in India...
G310RR won because of:
1. Wider and stickier tyres.
2. Better aero
3. Power to weight ratio
4. Manual gearbox > laggy CVT
No surprise the C 400 GT lost:
1. CVT has crazy initial lag and rubber band effect
2. More weight
3. Comfort oriented ergonomics compared to the G 310 RR.. RR even has an edge in aerodynamics and you can control the gear shifts...
The drag races I'm looking forward to:
1) Ola S1 Pro vs Yamaha R15 (requested in the previous video)
2) BMW C400 GT vs Keeway Vieste/Sixties.
You should also mount cameras on bikes for better speed view
If we take the weight disadvantage of the C400 out of the equation, it shows how much bigger role gearing plays when it comes to drag races
Hope tvs makes a powerful and efficient scooter in the 150 and 250 segment
Its been 6 month and done almost 6k km g310rr is a beast with smooth gears box.
scooter heavier and cvt for sire setup at max nm rpm up to 100-120 km/h like typically manufactory setup such cvt in all scooters so no chance for scooter even if we setup cvt at max so at max power from launch to top speed like scooter prepare for racing it would still lost against g310 rr cos of weight 👌🏻

C400 has got TVS developed engine ?or Bmw's in house engine?
G310rr and rr310 both gets bmw engine. Tvs designed looks of bike and took bmw engine.
If i am not wrong it is borrowed from Kymco Xciting 400s
The only reason g310rr didn't get head start is because the 310cc engine is rev happy and doesn't have a lot of low end torque.
Fun fact: The much cheaper Ola electric scooter completed this drag in 19 seconds...yup just 2 sec slower than the 10 lakh scooter.
yeah, yeah, I know the weight difference, electric vs ICE, different purposes etc. But this video itself didn't consider differences like that.
Only this kind of scooter totally made in India they could bring down coast significantly
