      @@daydays12 people can believe in anything while there alive. Gods, God , gremlins etc . But I suspect, like money, you cant bring these beliefs with you beyond the grave if it happens to be the case that there is nothing beyond the grave anyway. You cant even be reassured by your disbeliefs as you expire into a pure and permanent unconscious nothing. I'm not 100% sure what will happen. It's just that this has always being the gut feeling I've had about it since I first became aware of it. Speculation about the afterlife seems to be utterly pointless in the long run.

    O dear - all this special pleading for and half truths about 'religions'....no mention of magical thinking ....and other talking donkey nonsense
    What's what Homer ( who may well not have existed) believed got to do with anything?
    I gave up on this stuff. "Seven types of ambiguity" was a much better book.
