I was listening to this after getting in a gun fight with a bunch of meth addicts it felt like a moment of calmness before and after chaos, the ambience of this game is a big reason why i come back to it instead of constant music playing you get a beautifully unsettling ambience. I hope they keep up with the dark yet calming tone of the game.
I love the beginning of house exploration. The way it creeps on but instead of going back down like you would expect it hangs for even longer. Favorite soundtrack in the game.
RoN has good tracks but they are played in low volumes I barely can hear them. Even the most basic ambient sounds would make these levels far more engaging. A dog barking in the distance or a man cursing at his wife? I get it it takes place during the night but does it still has to be that darn dark?
Meth has unused audio for backed up toilets, pipes, distant fire(s), dripping water, bird chirps, the house creaking, over 25 dog barks, phones ringing, rats in the walls, distant sirens, and industrial machinery hissing.
@@Foxtrot19 hopefully with time they'll be introduced into the maps, it seems like Void keep adding to the maps that already exist as well as bringing out new stuff. Here's hoping though, definitely would add more immerision to an already great level.
@@craz-iebiscuit4301 i think the levels aren't as good as in swat4. I'd even go far as to say they're close to bad. The problem with meth house is probably the unrealistic nature of it. The structure of it, the way rooms are connected don't feel natural. The lighting is probably a huge factor in this. Then also there's the swat ai that struggles in tight corridors.
@@kissaninja9700 A lot of RoN's level layouts are awful rn, voids obsession with every map being a similar scale too is really hurting the unique feel each level in swat 4 had. Every level can be played the same because of the gamemode system. Every level is a similar size, even ones like a gas station robbery are huge. All suspects feel samey and far from unique in encounter design.
@@spicydong317 Yep, not only that but it caused them to cut several maps down, Hotel got downgraded hugely, so did meth and dealer, Club got completely remade into a much worse designed map as well.
That buildup at 6:30 reminds me of the THX intro sound
the combat bass n the big kit percussion makes this amazing

2:48 When I heard this for the first time, I knew that this game is going to be something special.
I can relate.

I feel the same way. When I heard that bit for the first time playing the level, I knew that the game was going to be something special.
Combat bass is creepy.
This stuff's unreal. Does the attic get a unique segment? It totally should its the scariest freaking part of that map.
From what I saw, the attic doesn't get it's own segment.
the attic is so lame tbh, i never find anything in there and its so tedious
THANK YOU! I couldn’t find V2 anywhere!
what we can get in Ready Or Not version v1.0 devs said that its comeing somewhere in 2023
