Starting off with you’re my favorite reviewer as always. No one does it better than I’ve seen regarding realistic views of the watch and all the strap changes are awesome. As for the watch, you don’t seem as enthusiastic as you do with other watches you love. Is it all because of the seconds hand? I see this watch and I’m in shock how good it looks on video. I was also surprised how good the Milanese bracelet looked.
Haha, maybe a little burn out...I think I shot 4 reviews last week. It's a great watch with a movement that's just not for me. I want this with the VK movement. Still great though, love the color, love the size and finishing. I'm wearing it now!
Great review. Just ordered the ML04 watch with the black dial, blue indices and hands in SS, and from Ali. Saw your review and another here on YT. Here's hoping it does the trick. Thanks.
Nice watch and no problem with the Myota quartz. Its a workhorse and despite the gear train slop on the main chrono hand, its preferable as it has the day and date option which closer mimics the gen watch its trying to "copage" Interesting about the rubber v leather strap. On Ali, its still hit and miss which strap you get depending on the store. The rubber is preferable as it likely to last much longer. Ive also see some of these without the crows foot logo on top of the day / date window ?? Anyways, great review.
Very nice watch. I was literally looking at its Baltany Cousin / Sister / Brother in Law 🤔 last night thinking I need to get myself a quartz Chrono. But yup, I think most people prefer the VK67, me included. Thanks for the great review as always! And yes, the FKM is a weird choice which is probably why they have stopped offering it.
I've seen a few versions of this design on AliExpress but not finished with this quality. I wonder if Militado is making a move to be a budget competitor to Baltany.
yes, quite a few out there...i think the Hruodland is probably just as nice, but larger, and more expensive, and I don't even think they sell it in steel anymore.
Nice watch, cool specs! But the size....Call me konservative, but a pilots watch has to be bigger! I could live with a diameter of 42 mm. Just my opinion. Good stuff, looking forward to your next on 👍👍👍
I understand what you say, but pilot watches needed to be big for practical purposes. That purpose is no longer relevant, so we can enjoy the aesthetic but in a size that looks better on more wrists. I think the size is pretty well perfect for this style of watch.
Perfect diameter and width to fit under a dress shirt. I’m thinking of buying this and putting it on a beads of rice bracelet. What do you think? Is that heresy for pilots watch? LOL 😂
I think Baltany should do the dressier vintage style homages, and Militado should do the field watches, not that Militado should be a budget version of the same Baltany watches.
I do really like the look of this, esp for this price point. I'm not a lume junkie at all but that also looks great at the price but they really need to step up their movement game. That much slop looks laughable these days. Maybe in 1997 that was OK but wow... that would likely be a deal-breaker for me at this point. I know it's all about tradeoffs at these uber-budget prices but that's pretty bad.
I do enjoy your introductions! I appreciate given the opportunity to see the details of the watch in review without distractions.
Thanks for the feedback! Doing my best to show it off
VK67 all day long. That slop in the current movement would drive me insane.
Oh hell yeah. If this had one of those in it, it would be an instant buy.
Love the 39mm size!

@@EscapeWheel Got it! Thanks. I ordered one for fun with your link.

thanks for watching and offering your thoughts on the VK vs Miyota debate. we may see a V2 with the VK if they see the demand

I like having the day of the week personally.

I can appreciate that. I think Hruodland has one that may be better suited for you.
@@daveindevon5240 Looking to people with smaller wrists, you are absolute right. With my 8,5 inch wrist I don´t know these problems
@@EscapeWheel My 8,5 inch wrist and I thank you for this tip

Correct that we’d rather have the Seiko VK67. Sweeping 1/5th second hand is more appealing.
Agree that the VK67 would be a better choice.
now you will have to hold this button for a little bit longer for 12 hours dial to align 😄
Lol, didn't even notice that. Thankfully that reset to zero after I used the Chrono function
