- The best live heads up game I have ever witnessed, I think it is still the biggest live game ever.
These videos were scattered around the internet in parts in horrible quality. So I found what I believe is the highest quality, downloaded all the parts and put them together for the poker community to enjoy! flick me a like is all I ask :) - Ігри
Dwan paid $500k to be able to watch this replay and pat himself on the back for being a genius.
all of Dwan's folds are just world-class level. Anyone on that spot should lose 10x times of that
Bull...all normal lay downs..

Normal lay down? Everyone's world class when nothing's on the line & sitting behind a computer!
@@thetruth72667 and everyone's world class to their stans
The 97 hand was an easy snap fold. You need to understand poker lol. The pot was 39K amd Dwan cane out and bet 67K when checked too on the river. He polarized himself to the exact hand Antonious was holding lmao so when he does get raised in that situation its clearly obvious the other has a boat. But i do agree some of these are high level folds. Not as many as you think though. The 66 in Omaha was a really nice fold though. Thats world class.
I have literally never seen such run bad. I feel for Tom. He played so well.
+Jason BlaBlaBlaha lol ur pic is so photoshopped.
Nice try tho...
+So Unreal He's making fun of a youtuber called Jason Blaha.
I'm guessing you dont play much poker?
Most incredible display of skill ive ever seen in any game. What a player dwan is.
Imagine Phil Hellmuth sitting in the place of Tom Dwan.....
speech time
YASH TRAVADI speechless aaaaand speech time
YASH TRAVADI Hellmuth would've gone broke , he's not able to make these laydowns
YASH TRAVADI "You don't know how to play poker! You're killing this game! I QUIT!!"
"This is peeeeeeeeeeeep*, is like everytime I play against patrick he beats me with a stupid hand... Like where are these card comming from?? Unbelievable peeeeeeeep*, that was a stupid play... I knew he had that hand and I still called..."
I love how the commentators get so caught up praising Antinous' "amazing poker" play, they manage to forget he's been dealt the winning cards almost every hand, and more often than not the fucking nuts. Antonius may be one of the top players in the world, but this is one of the luckiest run of cards I've ever seen.
The only thing you can really take from this video the brilliance of Dwan's play; particularly how good he is at putting himself in position to make a lot of money, and getting away from it when he realises not only is he behind, but the other guy's hand is too strong to be bluffed out of. Also how good his temperament is, he doesn't get annoyed by his clearly appalling run of cards, even Chris Ferguson would be tilting.
O'Brien Not sure what video you were watching. The announcers couldn't stop talking about how great Tom Dwan's laydowns were all match long. Multiple times they talked about how Dwan could easily be down his entire million buy in but wasn't because of great laydowns.
@@crabapplemcnasty3546 he saying how the commentator kept on saying “Patrick has been playing absolutely brilliantly” before the other one has to remind him a couple times of how good Dwans laydowns have been, knowing when to fold is way more impressive than value betting a good hand
@@suburbanshrub6675
Yeah, Bart Hanson’s commentary is much more relevant here.
bro this was infuriating to watch just bc Antonious’ luck here is absolutely mind boggling. I feel like you’ve got better odds flopping a royal flush or getting dealt aces, then flopping quads, then you do getting a run like this. Hearing the commentators praise Patrick just rubs it in like it’s really not that hard to make a profit when you hit the nuts on 75% of hands and the best hand the other 20%.
Dwan is something else though. Basically anybody else in the world would think they’re just getting owned by bluffs and eventually snap and lose everything
Tom Dwan is the best. Mind blowing decision making. We all could learn a thing or two about discipline from Tom.
Dwan did well to keep playing solid when the cards were going against him so much.
+Dent It almost looks rigged...
Yea man. I'm still thinking whether or not this was rigged for the public. Very bizzare to watch poker played at this high of a level.
Yo thank God someone else was looking @this the same way!!! WTF! Antonius was catching MONSTER after MONSTER after MONSTER!! Even when Tom flopped a straight he was beat on the river by a full house & it happened again in the Omaha hand! It really felt rigged like you said. This really is beyond strange to me.
this is the best heads up play i've ever seen, tom dwan played fucking amazing, actually hard to believe some of the lay downs he made
this is painful to watch, Dwan played like he knew exactly what Antonius had in each hand. Dwan was so so so so good.
Is that why he called the turn multiple times drawing dead?
Tom Dwan is Immune to tilt, even Phil Ivey would have had to rebuy with those cards.
He did do a great job of keeping calm. Part of the reason is that 50% of the time, he will be losing all that money. Dwan has won multiple 800k,900k 1mill+ pots in his lifetime so this isn't a huge deal for him!
every fucking hand antonius had the best hand. even when durr turned a straight and antonius rivers a boat... wtf feel so bad for dwan he played so well
Wow how is Patrick hitting 2nd or 3rd nuts like EVERY HAND??? Seriously looked like a cold deck to me
At least Dwan could go back and watch this knowing he made the right decisions. Had to be very frustrating.
Sessions like this mentally break normal men… Tom Dwan is not a normal man. Antonius ran like god… So sick how disciplined and consistent Tom remained throughout the slaughtering. World class talent for sure.
How to lose 500,000 with good folds
Relaxation Soundwaves hahaha u made my day
bad bets on the river tho, trapped all the way and overbetting into nuts with showdown value hands basically turning them into bluffs
Tom Dwan is the greatest that ever lived.
Maybe after Ivey
+Adam Henderson no, dwan in the best
+Sebastian Arana two great players nevertheless :)
You are dumb as dirt Pennywise you cant be serious lol.. Your greatest is dead broke right now in Oct of 2016 w out a pot to piss in basically. He's the new Eric Lindren. Giant swings of feast or famine and now he's hitting up the free buffet everyday
is he winning on the free buffet?
Antonius ran absolutely ridiculous. Dwan played flawlessly. Incredible folds throughout. Wow
its still incredible to watch Dwan play this heads up match. Absolute masterclass on knowing when you are beat.
Tom Dwan was in his early 20s at the time this was filmed. Already had the discipline and resilience of a veteran.
How can patrick be so lucky.. lol
if they had changed seats, Dwan would be up the half million for sure
Very true, but that is how poker goes sometimes!
+Liszt Yep, that's how pokerstars "get things done" if u know what I mean...
if you think for a second Dwan has some kind of an edge over Antonius you'd be dead wrong. Patrick is just as good if not better but I'm not gonna go into detail as to who's the better player here. Had roles been reversed he would let go of those hands just as easily
Yes, but Tom would've gotten some good value out of making great hands including full houses, 86 two pair on the river, etc. Whether or not he would've profited AS MUCH as Antonius is an open question, but he would've been ahead. Dwan made a bunch of good (perhaps not great) laydowns as it was.
+synchronium24 he would profit as much or more. Dwan lost the minimum here. Antonius whouldn't be able to lose less than the minimum (obviously).
This was the most ridiculous live game. I felt so bad for Tom...he played a great game, but it's so crazy how lucky Antonius got.
Mona Dutta It's funny because every kind of hand Dwan would get (pocket pairs, low broadway hands like QJ, suited connectors) Antonius would get one rank better (Higher pocket pair, high broadway hand, higher flush)
I bet Antonius got mad after seeing how much value he lost.. should have won like 5 times what he won... Dwan just had a fucking incredible read on him
@@JP-lr8rr wtf are you talking about I'm on the third hand and dwan has pocket 10s vs pockets 9s in a 100k pot.
This is the absolute definition of sick for durrrr
Tom Dwan is so sick. He has made more big (and correct) lay downs in this game than most people do in a month of play.
Really great play by Dwan, being able to fold and keep his head. Everything was falling right for Antonius, I've never seen someone run that good heads up.
+petechett agree. I did have long lucky run heads up, but not even close when compared to Patrik
Wow, just wow. Tom Dwan played so damn well! Most players would've gone bust 10 times over if ther were so unlucky. Tom Dwan lost the absolute minimum.
snap folds a 9 high straight heads up... that was just amazing
onlyweatherlol93 I think Dwan has a good read on some tell that Patrick puts off when he hits his card(s).
onlyweatherlol93 easy fold though, he overbets river and gets checkraised, the only bluff antonius could have is 8x for blockers
also reckless blocker bluff considering paired board
@@mscolli3 😂😂😂 have you watched antonious play?!? That dude has no tells whatsoever, he probably has top 3 best poker faces in poker.
The 6 set hand was crazy
I have only just realised that Patrick Antonious and Gus Hansen are different people.
+Gareth McCray lol
lollllllllll
Gareth McCray 😂😂😂😂🤣😂😂🤣
Gareth McCray idiot
Dwan is a damn genius, the cards just weren't not in his favour I'm sure many other players would have lost a lot lot more.
Amazing play by Durr.
Dwan played better... of that im sure.
That's a first
Patrick looks like a poker stoic.
Tom looks like a poker prodigy.
Can learn both from them
Damn Dwan got reallly really unlucky. Fortunately he is a smart player and saved himself from losing even more.
Monster folds by dwan. Many pro players would have lost big chunks of money. I don't know if he is still so brilliant nowdays.
ok dwan defintely got my respect
Holy shit this session was insane. Antonius literally won ~95% of the hands dealt and not only won the hands but had nut/almost nut hands and super coolers/suck outs on Dwan. Yeesh, if one rigged the deck it would look much like this session, that's how crazy it was.
I've never seen so many good laydowns in a match. Durrrr is the best.
insane discipline from Tom Dwan... especially on the very last hand...
so many big laydowns.. shows why hes one of the top in the world.
+Joshua Gaspar was.
One of the best HSHU ever
They start at the outset that they would play til one gores broke. They werent even close to that at the end
are they playing live with online poker decks!?
Well, they just said poker is a game of skill, while they often forget to mention that even if you are as skilful as Tom Dwan, you could still lose 500k, this video showed everything... good lesson for naïve newbies
It's only one session...I'm sure Dwan has an edge on Antonius
If tow dwan was you, he would lost all his chips. If Antonious Patrick was you, he would not win all that money, because he valued his hand perfectly. So, YES is a game of skills.
People always talk about Dwan like a god (and yes he is very talented) when he owes so many players money from going into questionable balance positions and just won't pay them back. Even when he can.
Both Dwan and Antonious have a bit of a habit of wanting to see the end result even tho you Seee they want to fold (atleast on camera). Difference is that for Antonius it's kiinda whatever in a sense that he travels to Vegas and takes x amount of money he knows he can afford to lose and if does, then grinds it back online (so it makes it easier to possibly play a bit more loose). Dwan on the otherhand haven't had so stable life with keeping balance with money. He went into Singapore and it is really hard in the end make money with some chinese billionaires since they don't care... They can have a 100k pot and not show anything for it feeling cents to them and they just play whatever from the better range hands willynilly barely consentrating Like That. So the structure to follow are they up or down is missing (kinda same thing when he was playing with the streamers, he was at the end up like 5k or something and was having a hard time). Then was the triad rumors which I don't know about if true, that he would have owned money to people he shouldn't have. Now seems to live more stable life, but still doesn't pay the debts..
Yes sure, he is a Very Good player with poker but have some hero call habits (as does Antonius, again I don't know how much camera influences whose play) which Dwan have gotten clips for a lot of times being up in that haard position. Not Nearly always but there is a lot of clips. With Antonius the same feels as reverse with the luck factor even if the call is not bad (which is why I find it funny he is so lucky here). Still the point is money managing which is even more important than that you can make money with poker. It's pretty clear that Patrick has it down for not having problems with money ever since he started playing seriously and got first time seriously up. You cannot say the same about Dwan.. It is talking about winning after all and are you if you are going broke..
15 fps videos are my favourites.
how does patrick hit the nuts like every second hand heads up?? lol
Holy fucking cold deck!
All the comments are about Dwan but let's give some credit to my fellow finnish man Antonius. He is the most winning internet player in the world if we include all the nicknames. He's up like 17 million online. This session might be lucky but overall he is one of the best players ever - if not the best.
I think ivey is the biggest winner online with 26million winnings
@@fisniktamere all accounts combined Antonius beats Ivey. Why do you exclude Ivey's losing accounts?
Sick quality mang
¿De que año es éste torneo?
where is the rest? link me please? thanks!
WTF???? Is Tom Dwan seeing the hole cards or what? Wow, really really sick laydowns, one after other... i just cant believe it he must had a really sick read on Patrik... I m sure Patrik got mad after seeing this video he could have stacked Dwan like 10 times
The "skilled player" in this show is durrrr and he end up losing almost 450k.
lol that is poker....
i think antonius is better.. durr just likes to make big moves and bluffs and stuff..
big bluffs and good folds make you a good player...
Antonious needs to work around his raise value with different players... Couldn't call that an "unskilled player"... Just abit ignorant on that aspect.
Durrr is the real winner. Antonius got lucky by keep having the better hand. There was no way for dwan to outplay that.
+MrWadeBarrett Not no way, durrrr just didn't stand a chance on that time, Otherwise he could have bluff Patrik when he has a chance.
tom dwan is really a good player,he fold many unbelieble hand.good
they are both amazing players
I'm searching this ambiant music everywhere ... does someone have it or know a similar one ?
folding a set of 6's there on a pretty much brick river was phenomenal. Best thing i have ever seen in my life pretty much
If I was dwan would have lost at least 5 million
Can someone help me Pleasd...How to get in this poker game..Because i really love to play poker..
Tom must have a tell on Patrick to lay those hands down. The last one especially. I don't think I've ever felt so much respect for anyone while losing so badly.. :)
+Eric Bell I don't really mind that much if losing large amount, but getting suck out by donks I will show no respect and blow up.
Antonius played every hand from the text book. When you two world class players heads-up playing 200 hands, the cards pretty much judge the winner. Both played great poker.
That’is not possible. This is the best HU i never seen and WTF WHAT TOM DID. A M A Z I N G
What is this game? why do they have 4 cards apiece
17:47 wow how could he fold there ? thats amazing fold in heads up
Man Antonius is running so good. But Dwan is making so fantastic folds. Perfect example of how you can play perfectly and still lose.
I... I cannot believe those lay downs. Talk about running bad, yeesh!
I've never noticed how THICK Antonius's neck is
The only reason I know if this is because of Vanessa Selbst who brought it up randomly during the main even HU between Silva and Merson, she was trying to tell Jesse how he should fold some hands 😂😂

Antonius here is indecently lucky. Period.
good looking people are lucky.
Well played ? Well played ? OMG...this guy played so good that even me who’s watching the hands I would call despite the fact that he was losing wtf so many folds ??? Legend
Dwan is a fucking monster.
Antonius is notorious for getting uncluky when cameras are rolling even if he plays just as he should by odd's, or atleast very close if a bit loose so let him have it once 😂 Like goddamn
One thing to consider, and it would only be possible if one had more money than God and balls bigger than the Rockies, but Patrick could have done all of that with no hands what-so-ever. Tom never saw a show-down. He folded everything on the river when the scare card came out and Patrick bet like he had it (which of course he did, but Tom didn't know that -or he did know it- wait... this is confusing????) The point is that heads up, it is amazing that Tom laid down the 2nd or 3rd nuts time and time again and never once looked him up. That's amazing in itself; but, another side of it is that Patrick could have continued to do that with nothing. If a person is folding to aggression more than 50% of the time, you might as well keep doing it. If he folds 6 and looks you up 4, then you are up 2. Add to that the couple that you win legitimately, and you're way up. BTW, I suck at poker... Duh.
The let downs from Dwan were dam good. He could have easily lost it all.
snap folding that straight was so sick
nutty hands everytime for antonius...
wow this is an amazing game
Tom is one of the best players...He is very aware of his crazy image
jeez what a card rack for Patrik
Barry Tomkins played the boxing commentator in rocky 4
25:23 is priceless. a check raise river normally means you are fucked, but 9 high straight with how the hand played out, it deserved a call. good old tom dawn days.
That full house vs the straight tho..wow
Patrik is so lucky with his hands ! 2020 baby !
duurr played pretty good for the rubbish hands he was getting
dwan played good but luck was on patricks side
OMFG what a nasty LUCKER mr P.Antonius is.
You cant get more luck than that. Great laydowns from T.Dwan
+kostasz7z Agree. Furthermore, consider that durrrr has hyper LAG image, those fold were just mind blowing. even as TAG player, sometimes it's hard for me to fold a set, Tom Dwan snap fold a straight is just out of my mind. If a regular LAG player takes durrrr place, they would have get busted in no time.
Lol Tom Dwan got completely fucking schooled.
Dwan played amazing ! Je Je !
It must be extremely frustrating watching your opponent get good hands all day, seems all you can do is try and minimize the damage.
damn pat ran super good
Yeah he did, durrrr did well to only loose the amount he did. Just puts the smaller pots into proportion when he is playing other cash games!
tom dwan really is amazing
Dwan put up 1.5 million to 500k??? DAYUM! That's strong.
whats with the lack of volume
Antonius is sponsored by Riverstars TM
Damn I would be so nervous losing tens of thousands in just one hand
3:09
anyone noticed the first hands of NLH and PLO looks like setup?
Dwan is so good,,tough folds
