This inverter is a High frequency inverter. the first PWM with very high frequency used to boost the voltage. the boosted voltage in the output of the transformer(secondary) are not usable to running the electric appliances because its frequency is more than 30000Hz(30KHz) and your electric appliances need 50Hz. So you have to rectify it and again convert it to AC with 50Hz frequency.
