- This video is geared towards California (and maybe South-western Arizona) riders who’ve never been to Mexico and would like to ride their motorcycle south of the border for the first time. In this video I will guide you through preparing your FMM form, filling it out online, print it and taking it to the border to get it stamped. I will also show you how to get a quote from multiple companies for a motorcycle insurance for Mexico.

I paid for mine due to I am staying longer than 7 days. It made me go to the portal on the mexico government website and it doesnt let me download. Any suggestions. Please help :(
I have experienced that in the past that if the port entry date is more than 30 days away, it won't let you complete the FMM successfully. Maybe that is the issue? I've only been able to fill out and print am FMM if my entry date is within 30 days.
Can the FMF be used for more than 1-trip? I was allowed to keep mine after my last departure from Mexico, the agent wrote 180 days on it. thank-you
While the old law said that FMM tourist permits were only valid for one use into Mexico, the INM has recently (in 2015) said that FMM tourist permits can be used for multiple entries in and out of Mexico, through the end date of the permit. Just be mindful that the FMM CAN NOT be used at port of entries outside of Baja California or used for air travel.
Is there fmm form in the Cancun airport for traveler's ? ..it's free or still need to pay for it ?
I’m assuming you’re flying to Cancun in which case you’ll be given one on the plane. If you’re staying less than 7 days then it’s free.

Do you have to print the FMM form in colour or can it be black and white?
Honestly, I don’t remember seeing anything on their site that demands color but I’ve always printed it in color. There’s nothing on the form that needs color except the logo on top so I’m gonna go ahead and say B&W should be perfectly fine. As a matter of fact I’m headed down there in a week so I’ll print a B&W and if you don’t hear back from me that means I’ve been detained for not having colored form 😂😂
