Great Video. Went on that railway 2 years ago. The people running it were brilliant. Showed us everything. Even got into the Steam engine to get my photo taken :)

The lad you interviewed was a good advert for the line, what a nice bloke. The drone is good and you use it sparingly which makes the viewer want more. Sorry for essay, I'm not a train enthusiast but love your channel and Rebecca's nest. It's saved me during lockdown.

This line from Aberystwyth to Carmarthen was one of the most scenic runs in Wales until BR were to stingy to repair the river bridge in Aberystwyth signalled its closure.
Scenic, yes, profitable no. It had a ruling linespeed of 25mph and was quite lightly laid. Journeys from Carmarthen - Aber too 3 hours in the 1960s and no-one used it. The line might be a useful thing now, but these railways simply made no money and when the line was severed by flooding, the closure was inevitable.
What a great introduction to your channel and videos! This part of Wales is right where my dad lives (already sent him the link) so I know he'll love it too.
