  • A look at the expedition that inspired the book The Whisper on the Night Wind. The book is about the legend of the "Traverspine Gorilla" and goes a lot deeper into the history of the region than it's possible to show here, ultimately offering an explanation for the historic mystery. The Whisper on the Night Wind is available from bookstores or Amazon: www.amazon.ca/Whisper-Night-W...

Uggh, that’s a tough slog. All that thick underbrush looks like prime terrain to twist or break an ankle! And those black flies are not making it any more inviting.

I literally just finished this book last night.
It is the first book in a long time I did not want to put down.
I could not wait to get off work to read it. Love the book.
The videos are just as I imagined your words in the book to be.
And I am ecstatic to see the infamous curved paddle .
So I bought another one of your books.
Thank you , your work is fantastic !

Thank you for sharing this expedition to the Labrador Mountains and showing the beauty of the marshes with the unique landscape with pristine beauty of the surviving and barren vegetation and bonsai-like special trees, the wildlife, birds and the exciting discovery of caves and with potential evidences of ancient findings! I so much enjoyed all your videos you are generously sharing with us your many followers! I need to find your books here in Sweden and be able to read your adventures and expeditions in my dream destination, the vast last wilderness of Canada! Wishing you all the best and stay blessed and safe when out in the beautiful wilderness again doing some more exciting and interesting explorations! Best regards and greetings from North Europe and Sweden! /Carl

@11:35 Thank you for releasing the recording of the trail cam. I was curious to see them since I first read the last couple of paragraphs in your book that mention them. I am now also trying to repress a shudder...

Is the water on the mountain rain water or spring fed?

In my book I explained we weren't entirely sure, but that I think it was actually from melted snow.
