Ive had some luck with investing like having mags or rays then quiting and they rised alot. But when i invested in ndevs but sold it 2 days later for like only a dl or 2 profit to get ruby horns. Few days/weeks later rubys went to 160-165 and ndevs to 400. It made me realise that im a stupid dum dum. I guess i learned some things from this video that my intuition has not been very realiable. So i will just stick to investing in populair items and hope to big man up above for luck. Great videos Jimp keep it up!
This why only do short term invest first on the item you are going to invest on do it for like 6 months or so if it rises then keep it forever if you want sell it right now or long term invest on it if it drops then sell it if you want give it another 6 months if it rises then yea know what to do if it drops again sell it now however if the price stayed stagnant or like stays at a range then give it another 6 months if it stays stagnant then sell it that means demand and supply is the same and will take a very very very long or will never rise unless sudden demand which also keep track of price history its also what happened to pure light and shadow suddenly got a rise of demand because of how helpful it is for sets and it also stacks in speed if you notice an item that you see as op or can be good for sets then never know invest on it

I bought tons of teeny angel wing when the price was about 1-2 wls each, but years later it's rise to 7-9.. not a big rise but because I sell tons of it, I can see alot of profit there

To stand out, you need to do something no one else is thinking about. For me, I buy high, then sell low. Mentality 😉
Guides are not the best ideas for watching but they do help the best thing to do is just to get it by experience learning investment is hard to do you may lose a lot by doing it the richer people can change the course of your investment because they can basically change a price of an item with just their wls please consider doing it with being careful.

So lets take for example you buy Growscan for 50DL and after year u sell it for 1bgl, but the value of the thing is almost the same, because of inflation.

Have to completely disagree on the short term/long term comparison, long term is so little risk but so little reward in growtopia. So if u buy ghc in valentine for 8bgl and wait 8 monthes (long term), you are certain to double your bgls, but this reward is super duper slow and the profit basically sucks if you have few bgls bcz you always have to be dynamic with your bgls. DO NOT invest in items long term if the item is worth half or more your networth or if you have no knowledge of the item. Short term investment however is super risky due to the price instability, but the profit is way faster which is what you want. You want the bgls back ASAP to get onto newer trends and be available to new markets. 99% of ppl in the comments are poor and they nod their heads to any advice sm1 gives them, dont be fooled

Yup, which is why only invest what you're wiling to lose. Always have reserves! (okay but there's a joke that you should spend all your dls on the most popular investments right now since inflation guarantees the success of your investments)
Only invest if you have a reserve or there is no harm in doing it (eg. You have a main source of profit which is fine) but you will probably have a guaranteed profit anyway
I look at this game this way : We have the players that play for fun, this ones are the ones that want to get rich but dont care they just play for fun. We have the farmers I look at this guys as the working middle class people that no matter what they wont lose because farming will always benefit them but that farming wont get them extremely rich then we have the bfg and top dogs that basically own the slave farms and make people work for gems while they sit collect world locks and plant seeds. (me) then there is the investors which buy items, worlds anything that has a chance of going up in price and this guys will play for fun while they wait for their items to get expensive and then we have the top dogs who control the market can buy anything, increase its price because they are willing to overpay for anything and then theres the illegal mfs who own casinos and ruin the economy and cause huge inflations This game is beautiful in a way yet so horrible
