I feel like Ubisoft is just trying to milk as much money as possible before they dump this game. We've only seen worse for the past half a decade, and I don't think we'll see better anytime soon.

if they really wanted to end everything they could add hella more events that make spending dls deflat the encomey but no they dont, And realisticly they can ban all those casino and spammers but no they dont because its just a way they make player counts, growtopia is so shit if they have 1 just 1 person that has enough brain cells they can fix everything but growtopia is dying because the lack of support on players but just gameplay they do. They should make the megaphones 2dls for locke megaphones and 5-10dls for the normal megaphones but only for a few days make the normal megaphones a event or smth, let players plays games to get it or smth

agree, and I feel it too. I think initially Growtopia did this to reduce bot spammers or casino spammers but in the end this didn't affect them because forever the dark side will continue to exist, and the changes that Growtopia made had no impact at all, I mean it's okay if you remove Megaphone but remove Locke Megaphone is a bad decision because basically the system they created for Locke Megaphone is very reasonable and very difficult for bots to reach, bruuhh... Although there is disrespectful in your response, I have several points to make: If you want to mention my response, it is better to consider all my related responses to understand my point, rather than taking a part of one response just to reply to that part without understanding my intention. We have indeed talked for hours before, and I have clarified my points and what I meant in the post mentioned in the video. Firstly, it has already been 11 months since the update, and well, there hasn't been any significant change. The Broadcasts feature has become valuable and is no longer used for frivolous things. In the past, most of it was a waste of time, with more than 70% of the content being useless&scam&hack. Secondly, I have mentioned several times that I am against the current pricing because it is exaggerated. Also, I have a question: Do you know what inflation is? Everything in the game has risen in price due to the abundance of world locks in the game. I know someone who was paying 45 world locks to 30 people every ten minutes to sell his world. Thirdly, as far as I know, you are someone who has studied and does not play the game much. But as me who has played for 10,473 hours in 1,801 days, I can confirm that with the price increase, the situation has improved. Now every broadcast is calculated, and there is no silly content. To clarify, I do not play a lot because I have nothing to do, but because I have a comfortable job. :) Fourth and finally, there are people who know more about the game's system than you and me. If the price increase had the impact you think it did (killing communication, etc...), they would have canceled it. But it has been 11 months now. I disagree with many of their decisions, but I support the price increase decision. My only issue is that the increase is exaggerated and without an alternative for the less wealthy. I have emphasized several times that I prefer the price to be based on the player's level. This way, the cost wouldn't be high for bots and new players. I don't know why i got this video recommended to me. I have never kept up with growtopia after i quit it a good 4 years ago. All i can really say is i am glad i left before things got worse.

ubisoft just isnt to blame for this. Its the communitys fault for behaving in a way that enabled ubisoft to make this change(constant casino sbs, which rarely appear nowadays, before the change it was literally the entire chat). Sure ubisoft are scummy for even making it available through IAP but they did solve the core issue, which again was caused by the PLAYERBASE.

they should put more requirements for lock'e like 50+ levels and,sup or ssup + good achievement in game

I stayed online for 1 hour, definitely close to 0 misuse of SB's. Only way I'd personally like it back on Locke is if its still the same price as it is now. It's very opinionated though, as with this video, As I'm on the side of not wanting to see random sbs. I like the fact that they now have time to breathe, and even so there's still people who just sb for the sake of it. Quote "I like kfc" good use of 280 wls.

Well, I already gave up on the game when I got perma banned for finding a duped world. The moderation team do not care whether you are in the wrong or right. Info about me: Im an old school player (Played for 10 years), I was decently rich, and I had thousands upon thousands of hours on the game. Context: I was on the lost nemo server, found a guy who was afk on call while screensharing, and he had the world name on his screen, and seeing it, I joined his world. When I joined, I saw that the world only had some old locks and no wl, so I placed a lock at world spawn and blocked it in. After doing so, I jumped around the world and after climbing to the top of the world, I found 800k blocks worth of city packs just floating in the air. Now, me being a greedy little goblin, I placed an id door to my world and I started transporting the items. After filling 10 atms, the guy came back and noticed that I locked the world, and upon noticing, he messaged me and told me that I shouldnt take the items. My response was lackluster, I simply said "Why?" and continued taking the items. He explained to me that they were duped, but due to being an old player, I had heard that so many times from people that were stupid enough to leave their worlds open with tons of items before, so I didnt believe him. When I explained that I didn't believe him, he told me he knew the world owner and that he could get me banned, and I proceeded to just scoff at him, which was the biggest mistake in my growtopia career. The cheater joined the world only ten minutes later and said that if I kept taking the items, he would contact his friend who was a moderator and get me banned, and once again, I simply told him that I didn't believe him. And wouldnt you believe it? just 20 minutes after the cheater said so, I got perma banned for using third party software. ... Since when did moderators not check logs and such? Since when did the moderators not investigate before banning? I understand that I probably deserved either a warning or a 7 day ban so they could remove all the duped items from my account, but a perma ban for simply not believing two players? Thats insane! Moral of the story is: If you find a world with thousands of items dropped, that are valued in the bgls, don't pick them up and just leave the world. Or, alternatively, delete the game. Ever since ubisoft bought the rights to the game, the game has been going downhill. ... Thanks for reading.

I believe super broadcast was never meant to be accessible to the poor anyway can't afford to sb don't SB also this makes people think twice before sbing because not only is it expensive but because there is less sbs that means it's easier to catch the illegals / racist / scam websites however i would argue that removing it from locke wasn't good idea but making it 2 dls might been a good start .. and about discord i will tell you ain't no way someone gonna spend hours to sell things for few wls when you can sell in discord and its way quicker and make it possible to sell to every time zone player .. the best thing to happen to gt is having discord market since that killed buy+ worlds which is good growtopia ain't gonna stay the same afterall the trade+ letter era is gone 😢

It's already been 5 months the log in server is still disconnecting from time to time, it's annoying litteralyevery 15 to 20 minutes the game disconnect

I'm glad I stopped playing this game. We've experienced a lot of issues for many years that Ubisoft still hasn't fixed. It's not enjoyable anymore, especially since many of my friends left the game. We're at the point where this game is headed for the dumpster. It's sad that I can't witness its downfall since I got banned for allegedly using a third-party system, even though I haven't used anything illegal. The game felt disconnected since the takeover.
