- Dude get a drum mag as loot for this bad boy and its a totally different beast. It just slaps, easy to control, great hipfire and tons of rounds with a suppressor. Way easier to use than a SAW on stuff like trenches. I love this gun and its one of my go-to weapons.

Can confirm; 100 round drum feels good to use with suppressed muzzle. Totally worth the find when you get it. 🔥
I’m running the RPK with the 100 rd drum, dot optic and a silencer when I go out with Scav Girl. It’s extremely effective.
Ive ran the AK since I found one- and after finding and restoring an RPK its been my primary ever since!
Its an absolute monster in terms of damage, versatility with mods and magazine capacity.

When you say restoring do you mean you pick up a damaged one in a run with a gun rack because I thought they can only be sold how did you fix it ?
@@jasonhyslop6736 If you enter a map with destroyed weapons in your Gunrunner Rig and manage to extract alive- they will be fully repaired and functional to use!
On the fence on whether or not this is intended behavior (being Early Access) but imo it should be because:
1) You're filling up slots and preventing yourself from gaining other weapon drops.
2) You can die, and end up losing the destroyed weapons.
So its in line with traditional Risk-Reward mechanics. I for one love it and it makes running Gunrunner instead of the Equipment Rig a bit more engaging!

Yeah, the RPK with a silencer is my pewpew of choice. I got an SVD, but didn't like it as much because it was single shot.
Why are those giant hangar doors so quiet compared to the smaller doors?
Solo = no enemies. With team = shit ton!

What does the weapon level give you?
I’ve only ever found a 95 rnd one are they buyable believe I’m at level 34 with it great vids btw
If I recall correctly it doesn’t have a thumbnail, but you should see it as loot or available in vendor stock. You might have to select magazines to see it. Selecting “all” doesn’t show everything.
You find it on certain enemies. From what I can tell,they have to be carrying an RPK for it to drop.
