I would most definitely try to hatch a rabbit lol. That’s so awesome Lester sent an Ostrich egg. Our ostriches aren’t laying yet. Lester’s eggs are beautiful. I love the color of the turkey eggs. I hope you have a wonderful hatch!
It is always interesting to me how many chores you guys get done. Being born and raised in the city, I love watching you do things I will never get to do.
My grandfather used to raise cattle and he had a big tank of molasses (and who knows what else) out in the field with rollers that the cows could lick and it would rotate down into the molasses and back up for them to lick it off. I remember licking that thing a couple times and it was really sweet and tasty. Later I saw it covered in flies and also realized I was eating after the cows and I decided I didn't need to lick that thing anymore.
21:05 - that TYM tractor is the bomb! I live in IL (which is also called HellAnnoy) and for years John Deere and Cat dominated the landscape. From what I've observed here on Arms Family, TYM should take over much of the market -- especially if they have "right to repair" in their purchase and service agreements. Deere and Cat got greedy, stranding farmers in their fields when equipment repairs were needed -- basically telling agrarians that they'd just have to wait until Deere/Cat "got around to it". Meanwhile, crops were rotting and animals starving...and Deere and Cat didn't give two flying fLIcks, much less even *_one_* flying fLIck...
So....I just found you and your wife's channels today. I love what you guys are doing! I love your farm and critters. You are living my dream. I am a 61 yr old grandmother and disabled. You have brought me joy today. Your son Houston is amazing and quite the personality! He definitely has the gift to be such a amazing young man. Thank you and God bless! 👍❤🙂

That Houston is such a cutie and so so polite. Not to many young people these days are so appreciative AND express their gratitude to well. Daniel, you and Deejay are doing a fine job raising those kids. From what I've briefly seen from the other two they're all fine young folks. Just what us old folks like seeing because we know we'll be taken care of.🤣💜💜💜
A note about those mineral blocks. If you put them on a stump, long after the block is gone, they any of them, will chew on the stumps because of the blocks melting and the stumps absorbing the mineral. Won't hurt the animals as in donkeys, horses, cows and deer will start eating the stump

I'm not surprised one of the little billies is already spoken for. He picked a cutie!! I knew Lester was sending you guys a box of eggs. I told him I'd follow their journey! It's a shame 2 busted en route though I'm not surprised since "fragile" no longer seems to get glove treatment anymore. I don't think he expected you guys to hatch the ostrich egg, but to give it a taste test. At least that's what he's done in the past! Thank you for another great video!
Daniel and Houston I hope you can hatch those little tiny oh so adorable Barnum chicks. Please make sure we see what hatched!!! Please. I am getting hens for the first time. I am a teacher and I still feel lost with this. I am getting 8 layers. Can't have a roster.
So cute; the two were on their back feet, ready to rumble. Nothing like a crowd watching you. How is the injured duck doing? It would be wicked to see if you could hatch the ostrich egg, then give it to another farm once it gets too big. Silkies are so cute. Stay safe & take care of you all. Thanks for sharing, eh :))
Spring is in the air!! Houston is hatching water fowl!! And chickens oh my!! Hope they all hatch and I hope you can find a way to incubate that ostrich egg! What an incredible size of an egg!!! 😂 God bless!❤️🥰🇨🇦🙏🏻
Yeah some hatching. How sweet Brooks will be doing some too. Didn’t take long for the baby goats to find their food. They grow up too quick. Thanks for sharing have a good week. Take care and God Bless. 💕🙏
The apple orchard that we go to every Fall, to buy our Mums, decorati ve guards and pumpkins, has a small putting zoo. Love how those baby goats figured to go thru the gate. Great idea. I think hatching that ostrich egg would be saaaaweeeet! Aaand it would be so tame. Just saying, looking forward to seeing all the new feathered babies. Way to go Houston. Thank you for 😊a great video
They were thoughtful and generous enough to send you the eggs. We have had emu and ostrich in the past, not going to lie the male ostrich sometimes can be very trying. They are not so bad if you raise them from chicks if you raised him from chicks and handle them, but if you buy adults like we did from ranches in the Hill country they can be difficult. Let Houston try to hatch them it would be an experience for him, if it turns out he doesn't want to keep it he can always make him some money selling it
Farmer friend had a mid-sized kangaroo that would box him all the time. He traded it for an adult male ostrich. It was unloaded straight into the barn and later the day he got it he was going to open the walk through door and let it live in the pasture. It bopped him on the head a couple of times then kicked him and snapped his femur(thigh)bone. It was sold before he got out of the hospital and he decided having exotic animals to show off was no longer a good idea.

Try hatching the ostrich egg. You were willing to take an ostrich before. And if you raised it from a hatchling you’d probably be able to tame it like Cog Hills emu.

I bought nonfertile ostrich eggs, drilled a hole in one end with a 1/4 inch bit. Then using a basketball pump and needle in the hole blew out the yolk and white. Washed it out. Now I have several ostrich and emu and goose eggs…
