LOL, you need to put a disclaimer in the title. I was looking for a smoke detector needing a battery change. CHIRP!
@@diverseventures8063 No doubt!! 😂😂 I listened to that thing for over two hours while going through this collection before making the purchase!! Thanks for watching!!
All major artists! This stuff was so common 10-25 years ago. Foxing, ringwear, writing on covers! You can keep them; I'll take my cds. You got your money worth as these will resell for triple at least.
I’m the CD generation myself and have a sizable collection, so I definitely get that. But I also enjoy the nostalgia of the large covers and warmth of the crackling vinyl as it plays from time to time. Thanks so much for watching!!
@@BamaJaybirdResell 30 years ago it was cheaper and easier to find certain older titles on cd. Now almost all of it has been put onto cd and usually in deluxe reissue form with bonus material. Don't discount a collection of 45's especially punk, soul, or any collection clean and with a picture sleeve or company sleeve. I don't get how almost everyone threw away the sleeves on those. The 45's have the hit mix and when one goes to the album, it often isn't the same. I collect cd singles as well but they didn't become a thing until the early 90's and then they were only promos typically. That format never really took off much.
I think she did good getting someone to give her $2500 for those.
very good
@@RubixVanwalkman I’ve only got about $3.50 each in them but I do wish I could have gotten into them a little cheaper. Still, I’m confident I will triple my money at a minimum and I’m good with that this time around while I’m learning more about the vintage vinyl trade. Thanks for watching!!!
Wow! You really pushed the boat out with that collection. The 'Batman' Neal Hefti LP caught my eye. Cool!
@@brucevair-turnbull8082 It was the most I’ve ever spent at one time. I agree that The Batman lp was super cool!! Thanks for watching!!
Great video! Nice haul. That’s going to be a nice learning experience.
@@goodwaterpickers thanks buddy!! And it already has been. But that’s a big part of why I like reselling to begin with.
Thanks for this dude. If the fact that you were going to make this into UA-cam content affected your buying decision at all, I thank you. I really think the lifestyle itself is more important than the specific records we find. This was one of my favorite “I bought a collection” videos dude.
Glad you enjoyed it my friend! I was buying this either way. I do plan to sell a good bit of it on eBay, but I will definitely be adding some to my own collection as well.
Oh Man! As a collector I would be very hard pressed to not keep at least a 3'rd of the collection for my own. So many awesome records. She took great care with them. New sub from Kentucky.
Thanks for subbing! I’ll definitely be holding on to some of these, but I’ve got to sell enough to make a profit for sure!!
I spot for your love the yardbirds! And rave up that is some $ and the prunes album
@@stevekosak8624 Love the Yardbirds!! Thanks for watching!!
Wow, Josh, that looks like multiple generations of collections! I can't wait to see how you do!!
@@MaryMcQuain Thanks Mary!! I’m excited to see how it goes too. I think I’ll do really good overall. Thanks for watching!!
Also, is it just me, or have you been thinking about what kinds of cameras and mounts there are out there that would be the best for vlogging these experiences? I feel like the 400$ camera ray bans are the only best choice. Cheers mate. Hope you find your ideal set up soon
Bro I didn’t even know about the Ray Bans till I read your comment. I looked them up and I’ve outta say, they look really awesome. Might have to try them out sometime. Thanks for watching!!
Congrats on getting monetized 🎉🎉🎉. Catching up on your videos. I sell vinyl but have never did a large buy so I would have been a little nervous as well. I think you will do well. I think you'll get steady sales over time.
Thanks so much!! I really appreciate you watching and taking time to comment. I always enjoy your walks! I listened to the last one driving home the other day so I didn’t get to comment but I’m sure hoping 4th quarter breaks records for all of us!! No pun intended!! 😁
oh yeah baby
I was loving every minute of it!! Thanks for watching!!
Change the battery, I spent 15 minutes checking my detectors
I know right!! I had to listen to it for over two hours while I was looking through the collection before making the purchase.
Looks like a triple up to me, lots of time but the education will be invaluable!
@@RetroRenewed I’m thinking the same, triple at minimum. And that’s good enough for the learning process.
Hey btw used records cant be Mint Condition. Its impossible. VG+ is the max you can rank a used record especially stuff thats decades old. Anything thats been played a few times is automatically VG+. Just saying because if you rank old records MC even if they appear to look good and someone buys them and hears cracks etc they might get upset. Usually only brand new records are marked Mint Condition as they are brand new so thats all they can be.
@@Jdsofar Thanks for the help! I certainly don’t want to misrepresent any of the albums in the listings or leave any buyers unsatisfied. I’ve got a ton to learn but I’m enjoying the process!!
Who would pay $90 for a copy of the wall? That’s ridiculous
@@Pluralofvinylisvinyls Lol! Definitely not an expert over here, learning more everyday. Doing the best I can with sold comps on eBay and I too was surprised that some people would pay that much since this is an easy copy to come by. But there were several comps in the $70-90 range. That said I’m sure I probably missed on a some of them, but I’ll work on prices more as I create the listings. Certainly no intention to mislead, just enjoy documenting the process. And either way, I’m confident it will sell for way more than I have in it and that’s all that matters at the end of the day. Thanks for watching and any tips or advice would be greatly appreciated!!!
*would you message me about buying the Pee Wee Herman record?! Thanks!*
You can message me on Instagram at BamaJaybirdResell. Thanks for watching and reaching out!!
OMG WHAT A HAUL 🎉 YOU SCORED HUGE 😊 I LOVE ALL CLASSIC ROCK & Motown 🛍️🙋🏻♀️Congratulations 💸💸💸💸💸you will triple your investment 😊
@@mhmred Thanks! I love the classic rock and Motown too!!!!
Nice haul!
@@thevintagecodger Thanks buddy!! I’m looking forward to going through all of it.
Great score!
@@MickFlippins Thanks my friend!!
Looks like you just bought a gold mine, congratulations!
@@jerryhogan1 I sure hope so!!! lol! Thanks for watching!!
I sell a lot of vinyl. I'm guessing $10-15K easy. It'll move fast too. I did a double take at the Mamas and Papas record but unfortunately its not the toilet version.
No way. A couple grand and a ton of work
Where do you see $10-15 grand at?
@@billparker5202 I’m feeling like a sure $8-10k but a lot of others don’t seem to see it. But there’s way more than was seen in the video. I will certainly document the profits periodically so we shall see. Thanks for watching!!
Awesome video
@@wolfmansgoodies Thanks my friend!!
Fine, guess I’ll take a break from listing records to watch lol
@@RetroRenewed 😂😂 I’ve been slow catching up on these comments. But that got me!! 😁
