There ARE cutscenes and they are insanely well animated. Mihoyo most definitely put their all into it.

There's no pressure to continue playing this game if you didn't like it after trying it, i ignored hsr after a month of playing it cuz it was not my type of game.
just spme of my thoughts and hopes for this game
the gacha can be disheartening and a bit annoying if they release like good characters back to back, basicly making people choose between paying or waiting for a rerun, but hopefully this game isn't that annyoing in gacha terms.
The liveservice aspect doesn't worry me much, Hoyo games seems to have a cycle of a big update every 6 weeks so i doubt i'll be starved too much for content.
in the end we'll just have to wait and see, the release is almost upon us, only need to wait for 2 more days, but the wait is killing me, it's funny how i can wait patiently for years for game news but can't wait a few days for the release.

wuthering wave is already a game made by newbie devs with the amount of new bugs being found on a daily basis + the gacha is even more toxic than HSR.
I wouldn't bet on playing that game over ZZZ tbh.

wuthering waves is fire too, they're now one of the top gacha games after just about 1 month, sadly for you they made a furry character into a human with ears and tail
The gacha mechanics is how you’d get characters the same as in genshin
The ad at the start is the one game that's beating Genshin and it's sister games. It's so good that the whole genre is giving out free stuff alllllllllllllllllllllll over the place to keep players lol. It's called Wuthering Waves
