@@borealwind she doesn't seem smart but it's maybe because she's easly scared and awkward but in one of her artwork we can see a long scar near her shoulder so she may be on the monster side (of inspiration)

@@NoblewolfPlays21in addition : none of them are being lock by battle pass : it's not like in fortnite. There is a pass but it just gives some more rewards. You Can have all the character you wants as long as your lucky or do not miss the limited banner where you Can have them
I'm at the segment of the vid where you're asking if the enemies were sponges who just sit there doing nothing
this game has no healers it's kill or be killed with parries, counters, dodges and perfect variants of parries, counters and dodges, you're hp can disappear if not careful
I'm glad a lot of people like characters like lycaon and billy, they were experiments for this type of characters and if they were well received they'll do more types like them
They know hot women/girls are popular, now they know hot men/boys are popular too.

yeah its quite the difference from the previous games they made where no male character ever really stood out at first glance,a nd seems they are willing to change that and are being rewarded for it, meaning we may see more in the future
@@jacobwansleeben i dont recall seeing many gacha games featuring playable male characters as well back then (not sure about FGO since i dont play that one) but they step up the game with Genshin by adding lotsa male characters along with english dub, aaaaaand it became the first gacha on global phenomenon scale :D
In regards to your concerns with like unlocking characters. There aren't any characters locked behind battlepasses or anything like that.
You get a couple characters for free but the rest are actually locked behind a lootbox system basically. Which sounds bad yes but Hoyo is actually very generous in that regard.
You CAN buy pulls with real money but thats not necessary, they can be bought with in game currencies which (for Genshin and HSR at least) are pretty abundant through events, both permanent and limited modes.
Unless you try to get literally everyone, you can guarantee everyone you want by saving up the in game currency.
Also, gameplay probably gonna be good, like you mentioned, these are like character showcases so the enemies are standing around doing nothing but in actual gameplay they'll be alot more in depth to play against. Especially since there's dodge and parry mechanics.

Von Lycaon is the first S-rank I pulled. He is adorable and fun to use, while still being able to be fancy and sophisticated. The tail wag at the end is the Chef's kiss.

There’s a lot of crew dynamics involved in this game, with lots of switching in and out of characters in gameplay. They focused on Billy, Nicole, Anby and Nekomiya first because they are the Cunning Hares, the first team/faction they introduced… looks like there will be lots of other factions involved, both from the start and as part of future development.
The nice thing about ZZZ is that it’s free at the start, so it’s so easy to just DL it and play it for a while to see if you like it or not… nothing lost if you don’t end up liking it. 👍
You should react to the other trailers, IGN ZZZ gameplay, and the pre-release livestream.

Regarding getting characters, this is a complicated one to explain as im guessing the character that's 100% to your taste is Von lycaon
there's gonna be 3 or 4 banners that use premium currency when you have a fresh account (be informed that I'm basing these on their previous games and some beta videos that i saw)
beginner banner: only will be available for fresh accounts, using pulls on this banner will gaurantee a standard S rank character around 40 to 50 pulls depending on the game
standard banner: will gaurantee a standard S rank character or weapon after 80 pulls, I believe there is a system that allows you to choose which S rank character to get after 300 pulls, i advise people to not spend for this.
limited character banner: this banner is for limited characters, Difference between standard and limited characters are the fact that limited character can be obtained through certain times creating FOMO and that almost all new S rank characters after release is gonna be limited, once you hit the pity, there will be a coin flip wether you get the advertised limited character or a standard S rank character.
What's a S rank character?
S ranks are rare to get characters or weapons decided by the devs, they are usually stronger than A ra ks but exceptions exist wether intentional or by balancing screw ups.
A ranks: easier to get characters, some are given for free as starter characters (Anby, Nicole, Billy) and some are given for free through time limited events or rewards for completing a challenge, they can be also obtained via the banners i mentioned above, you have a gaurantee to get an A rank every 10 pull.
Von Lycaon is in the standard S rank pool, i wish you luck in getting him, and i advise you to not spend any money for the 300 pulls to get him lol, if you are confused by anything ask me to elaborate.

elaboration on limited banner: After get an S rank character but lost the 50/50 the next S rank you get is 100% the advertised limited S rank at that time.

Weapons have 2 functions:
1.a stat stick, in their 2 previous games each weapon has a secondary stat that differs to suit different characters needs, say a weappn with defense% stat will be good for a character that scales with that stat.
2.weapon effects, usually weapons come with effects that will eother be universal or be tailored to a specific character, for example we see Von lycaon having ice effects in his attacks, lets make an hypothetical weapon effect for him:
if the wearer uses skill ability, grant 1 stack of ice buff, each stack increases ice damage by 6%, a maximum of 5 stacks can be achieved this way.
this will make it so that characters that deal ice damage and frequently use a skill can gain a huge benefit from this type of weapon.

Genshin does have a variety of enemies, but since they don't touch upon earlier reigons, monstadt and liyue has the lowest ammount of enemy variety in the whole game.
its a valid criticism tho, they should touch upon the old reigons, hopefully they do in the future.

I think you should react to character teasers. While demos focus more on action, teasers are about characters as well... characters.
From what I saw, it’s kinda like a character action game like monster hunter or DMC but with gacha elements cuz it’s the Genshin devs
I hope it translates well, at one point I was trying to get into both DMC and monster hunter and loved it!
Game plays pretty close to Nier Automata.
regarding difficulty, it seems endgame will be difficult based on dev comments tho we wont k ow for sure until release comes, but one thing that we do know is that in the last beta test there was a difficulty option for people who wanted challenging gameplay vs just for story.
wrt to the music, a recurring joke in the overall hoyoverse fandom is that hoyoverse is a music studio that makes videogames to promote their music, and we are only half joking, bc they do release a lot of songs that can be just released in the wild and no one would know. like how would they know. one of the newer hoyo-mix (their music dept) songs can be thrown into a christian pop playlist and literally NO ONE would be able to tell it doesn't belong there. my grandmother thinks one of the bosses' theme is a pretty remix of a wagner opera. my mom thought i was watching the opera channel when i was watching the first genshin concert until the non-classical part starter dakfjhsjshfg
im really happy theyre going with hip-hop in zzz, it is one style they havent done yet and they really went IN with the cunning hares for that

Honkai Impact 3rd, Genshin Impact, Honkai Star Rail and Zenless Zone Zero all don't have characters that are behind a battlepass or any thing similar, you get them by pulling, and you can unlock every character even without spending any money, very hard that is
This might sound weird but I feel like I really get Anby. She's got a cold, professional exterior but underneath is just a huge dork, which could probably describe me. Also, I love playing VR swordfighting games and the battle trance is real...
I like to have music that fits when I play, but a lot of the time the music completely fades into the background and I basically fight more or less on instinct. I think that's exactly what happened when the music cut out in Anby's demo. She just got a little lost int he fight for a bit and Nicole's sudden appearance broke her out of it.

okay, i saw many ppl trying to help you understand how gacha systems work and I'll give it a go too! the primary thing about a gacha game is that everything is up to chance, basically saying everything is random! so gacha games have a system where you will "pull" for a character. pulling for a character is basically like opening a loot box (i saw someone else's example in the comments) now when you pull, you'll either get characters available to play as in the game, or weapons to use on the characters! characters are categorized as "A tier" or "S tier" with S tier characters usually being stronger and rarer than A tier characters! in zzz there will be "banners" which is just a term for where you will pull characters from! there will be a "standard banner" and a "limited banner" a standard banner is permanent, it will never change or go away. it will have a small amount of s tier characters you can get from pulling on that banner. a limited banner is a banner that is, well, limited! it will have one S tier character as the main character of that banner, and if you pull on that banner, you have a high chance of getting that S tier, it's called a "limited banner" bc these banners change every 3 weeks! the main character of the banner will switch often, and if you don't get the character while their banner is running, it will be impossible to get them until they have a "rerun" where they will have a banner again!
now each hoyoverse game has a system where every 10 pulls you do on any banners, you will be guaranteed an A tier character or A tier weapon! and after 70 pulls, the chance of you getting an S tier character goes up, and when you reach 90 pulls (i think) you are 100% guaranteed to get one!
oh yeah! there's also a "weapon banner" which is a banner where you pull for S tier weapons! each S tier character will have a weapon specifically made for them, it's usually the best weapon in game for them! so, while an S tier character is having a limited banner, there will also be a banner for their specific weapon!
limited banners also have a system fans call the "50/50" system! when you get an S tier on a limited banner, there is a 50% chance you'll get the character on the banner, but there's also a 50% chance you'll get a random S tier character from the standard banner! getting the character on the limited banner is called winning your 50/50, and getting a character from the standard banner is losing your 50/50. now, when you lose your 50/50, your next S tier character on the limited banner is going to be guaranteed to be the one on the banner! and this carries over banners! so life, for example, I'm pulling for a cool character on the limited banner, and i lose my 50/50, if i choose to, i can stop pulling and wait for the banner to switch to another character, and if i like that one, i can pull for them and they will be 100% guaranteed to be the one i want!
the banner system sounds confusing when you're just reading ab it, but it's actually super simple when you see it in game and start using it!

ZZZ is easily an 8! Its the coolest and best balanced gacha-game out there in aspects off grinding diffeculty! NO annoying open-world, a cute cozy city with lots to explore and a lot of cute little stories, supercool satisfying fights, lovely but also crazy characters, all the features and things you can do are so cool. Also all these puzzles in the caves - a wonderfull new and innovative way in the gacha-world! Next to Wuthering Waves its the best and most entertaining ga-ga "for me". And who dont want to own and manage a vhs-rentalstore ;-) Played to level 30 in three days because I couldnt stop. Just bought the battlepass but got already so much luck getting grace, soukaku 4x, soldier 11, lucy 3x, piper 3x, Ellen, etc. - And DUDE...parries are soooo satisfying!

I never really got into Gacha games, I tried Genshin once and couldn't get into it, but my friend who's been playing it on PC for awhile says it's really fun. So I tried it and I ended up playing 4-5 hours last night just having fun. I love the aesthetic, the characters, kinda digging the story (Haven't gotten that far) and the combat. It's simple combat but it's satisfying as can be. I highly recommend it as someone who's skeptical of Gacha Games and doesn't want to spend money on characters, which you don't have to in many of them. And I know the catch to that is the grind to get stuff for character pulls but it's not that bad. The actual gameplay is quick and rewarding to do over and over.

Cool easter-egg if you pay close attention; Billy Kid literally has a tramp-stamp that says "ass" on it. He's apparently really proud of his butt in the lore. Custom model (since, yk, he's a robot)

honestly what i have played so far all the characters have a decently short but long ult animations, well considering its not a turn based game like HSR
Steps on how to not lose your soul while playing this game
1: skip any and all cut scenes
2: sometimes you have to make sacrifices to won so don’t worry about the character designs and just focus on the game
And 3: don’t get caught lacking on a sus part of the game
This game has so much drip, good music and fun to play man... i'm enjoying it, but it comes down to people's tastes

Genshin was updated over time and now has multiple different enemies with different mechanics. New enemies are also coming out with new regions. Also ZZZ and the honkai series are by the same developers as genshin.

ZZZ in a lot of ways takes hack and slash/beat them up combat and concepts from Honkai Impact 3rd, one of their earlier games, and either keeps them or spins them to fit the ZZZ vibe.
It's probably unrealistic to expect you to try it out, given you are a newcomer to this gacha scene, so trying ZZZ might be enough for you for a while. But maybe you could do a reaction to PV trailers (version 1.0 to 7.6, though not all of them are present in the official playlist), to see how Mihoyo was starting out (though technically Honkai Impact is their 4th game, but that's an advanced rabbit hole), and how they evolved their trailers to reach where they are right now with ZZZ's qualtity. Though it takes a few chapters for the story to pick up, it's one of the best story modes Mihoyo has made to date, imho. And you don't have to bother with the gacha or pull/draw mechanic, as story mode makes you play story-relevant characters, regardless of who you own.
There are also quite a few Honkai anime which are fine to watch on their own: Cooking with the Valkyries seaons 1 and 2, Golden Coutryard episode 1 and 2, ELF Academy and Journey Crisis.
There is also manga and visual novels that complement the main story. Just don't watch Animated Shorts, as they are animated cutscenes during key points in the story, unless you don't care about spoilers. The only non-canon animations are Reburn, Bronya and Reburn 2.
ZZZ's gameplay lean towards quick and smooth, they emphasize satisfaction while battling. Genshin leans towards open world, exploration, and overworld enemies. Honkai 3rd emphasizes the story and known for having one of the best combat in any game. Lastly, Honkai Star Rail is a turn-based game emphasizing team comps and correct actions

Nicole's...assets, were actually nerfed from CBT1 to CBT2 (she got dropped by like 2 cup sizes, maybe more even lol) and her "physics" got nerfed also by giving her a bra(she had no bra in CBT1 so those things were free and one with the wind). Really disappointed that they're not going to be reverting these censorship changes in the final global release. I hate Chinese censorship laws man.
Honestly the cinematography and gameplay in the game is so much better than the others that honkai has put out. I got deep into genshin but fell out of it because of the repetitive aspect. There's sooo many features in the game. But give it a try yourself. I'm only 3 days in, lvl 15

Nah, Mihoyo games are known for casual gameplay so we won't be finding difficult and challenging gameplay here, also it marketed in mobile so yeah you know what it means. They do tried to make "Difficult" modes yet they are optional and expect their community will riot for how difficult it is so yeah just a casual game as always.
I mean ZZZ is still new. The combat will get better over time just like the combat for Honkai impact 3 which doesn’t have casual gameplay. HI3 combat use to be trash, but it’s gotten better over its 8 years of being here and it’s pretty much for hardcore players, especially the endgame.

Also it is marketed as Rogue-like which in my perspective as a Rogue-like enjoyer, this is not feels like that because you could just select whatever you want without trade-off or impactful conseqences plus you could just unlock every tiles so the point of chosing path is just minor inconvinience. It should be casual Rogue-lite.
But still I will check this game to see if I'll change my opinion on it and if the gameloop are entertaining and not a task but I'm aware that I shouldn't expect challenges from Mihoyo games.
@@aoihitori Well not 8 years to be good, but it improved in 8 years. HI3 was hoyoverse first arpg so it took a long time for it to improve. With how much resources and money they got now ZZZ combat might get better next year or maybe a few months this year if they listen to the players more which they have been doing.
Genshin is a casual game, but the other hoyo games are not. Try hi3 if you don't believe me
They said many times that they strive to make this game enjoyable for both casuals and players who seek challenge. IDK if they'll deliver on that, but that's their mission statement regarding difficulty
I've been a Genshiner for nearly 4 years, and you're right. It can get a bit overwhelming with all the things presented. ZZZ has been quite a fun experience so far, and I even managed to pull my second favorite character, Grace. There's just so much style that this game emanates.
