Even without physical challenges I have found use for this in photography. Many DSLR and mirrorless cameras have the ability to use a smartphone as a remote control. With voice control I can control my camera while freeing my hands to do other photography tasks
I didn't know about any of these things Surprisingly However The Voice access thing Has been extremely useful.
I tried using this for like 30 mins and I am already exhausted. This is still in initial phase and needs to be improved a lot! For example I tried to record voice. The beeps are all recorded and then when I played the recording the app is responding to the recording being played.

How a visually impaired or blind person can use this app? The main problem is that, they need to activate this app by tapping a button on certain part of screen, which is very difficult for them. Is there any way to activate it through voice?
Yeah, you can activate it by saying "ok Google, open voice access" and then Google Assistant will open it. It is a super helpful feature.

I set all of this up only to find that it fails to do the one function which I want - being able to answer a call hands free whilst I drive. So yes, not "complete." What is up Google - did Apple patent that or something?

Firstly, you need to have the Grid app installed. Also Google Home installed as well. I use Android Auto in my car to use voice control. Works well for me. I am in Brisbane.

This works very poorly. Keywords are often not Interpreted correctly (why would it write keywords?), and it often doesn't do anything at all. Most punctuation signs don't work. I can't imagine how unusable it must be for people with disabilities that make such tools mandatory.

There are too many command with Apple weeks trying to figure it out. Is there a phone number for Assistance also blind to read all documents. I need a tech support person to access my phone to I hope set this up.
Of your blind or have bad eyesight "select to speak" it is an accessibility feature that will read articles out loud or to headphones. You can also control the speed of the voice reading it back so you can make it super fast or super slow depending on your preference. It's built in so there's nothing to download but I'm not sure what version of Android it was introduced in. I've got the Pixel 3 so I got it and use it quite often even though my eyesight is okay.
You cannot wake up your phone with your voice, I just tried and it does not work.
If you say "answer phone" then yes, text it accepts the incoming phone call

@@frankn5216 this is kind of 'disabled person' support... not what i needed. i need more like voice command app, 2 allow 4 recognition of just a few words in my native lang which would execute some commands... but it needs 2 either b constantly listening 4 a command or b tied 2 specific events in the phone 2 b activated on a specific event.
@@nskmda There are programs out there that would help you but its been a while and not were my interest llies. I wish I could be more help

Except this application doesn't work for crap, I've retrained the voice numerous times. I have no discernible accent and my diction is quite clear yet between this and google assistant which is the biggest waste of code ever written I can't understand how anyone could actually think this junk is helpful or any good.
I'm not native and it works pretty well in English even with my accent :) it may struggle in a few words but that's it
