Excellent video friend. I got stuck yesterday trying to get the last bolt out thru the spring, got frustrated and quit, now I will go back at it again.
Hi Jessie Payne 737 just shoot some WD-40 or your preference of lubricant and then move that Control arm up and down and wiggle that stud out and I subscribe to your channel good luck, brother and thank you for watching a really appreciate you
Bro the part I needed help with you skipped. Cmon man. I’m literally stuck in that same spot right now an can’t get it in. I needed to see that painful process you called “hell” seriously bro
Hi zae3883 i’m very sorry brother. If you’re talking about putting that bolt in it was a pain in the rear you just have to work it and work it turn the bolt. Move the upper control alarm do whatever you have to, bro that’s what I did and it finally went in there. I apologize, brother I hope you got it and thank you for watching. I really appreciate you.
I did this job. I probably need to replace the lower control arm bushings. And I replace the swaybar links and tie rod ends next I will replace the rack but I need a vacation…
Hello Tony Cotta thank you very much I really appreciate you. I have the video for the lower ball joint but I need to edit it it really kicked my butt had to drill out the bolts wasn’t going to upload it but I’ll look at it and see if I can put it together I Actually ended up taking off the whole control arm to be able to get the ball joint off it was a mess lol . thank you for watching I appreciate you
Hi James webb3 thank you sir wow I did have one that would have been perfect for you I did the springs too .but lost the video. It’s pretty simple.I unhooked the Knuckle from the upper control arm then did the two bolts on the lower control arm just loosen them so the knuckle will drop down with the front of the lower control arm Enough to pull the spring out then completely take the two bolts off the lower control arm. Sorry wish I could help more . Thank you for watching I appreciate you
Hi Samtour8545 no it’ll be way different than the other side in your case. You’re just gonna have to eyeball it just put it where you think it is back off and take a look at it and see if it looks straight and keep moving it till you get it straight, it’ll get you close so you can drive it to an alignment, unless you hit it right on the money like I have sometimes lol thank you for watching. I really appreciate you.
Hi oldred2470 yes on some vehicles that bolt is hard to put in. I’ve had to remove the strut or loosen it and it’ll give you better access to the bolt I know it’s a pain in the rear but sometimes you have to do that. Thank you for watching. I really appreciate you.
Do you think you could feed the cam bolt through the opposite way, and tighten it down like that? As long as the essentrics are still properly lined up where they were before?
Hi Ethan Hubbard6029 i’ve done some other cars that were worse. Had to remove the struts but Ive thought about that. I don’t see why not keep me up-to-date. If you do it. Let me know if it worked. The only thing is probably the alignment. Shop won’t like it lol good luck, brother and thank you for watching. I appreciate you.
@@Marty09933 no problem! The good thing about me is that I’m a mechanic at bmw so I do all the work! I will let u know if it works, the only thing I’d be worried about is if I can’t get to the nut whenever I go to adjust it but I think it’ll be okay
@@Marty09933 sure enough man it worked! Just have to align it on Monday, tried to get the essentrics lined up as close as possible but the camber is still way off so I’ll let you know after I align it

Would have been that better if you would replace the lower control arms as well and would have been able to remove the springs and then those keys come right out
Hi Edgar Perez no but hold the knuckle so it won’t fall out and hit you or stretch any lines or hoses But if you fell more comfortable, putting something under the lower control arm you can Thanks for watching. I appreciate you.
I ordered new control arms, and one of them had a retainer clip on the thread from the ball joint, and the other one didn't. Just a nut. Are they supposed to be like that or both need the clip? I saw on your video that it didn't had the clip, help!
Hi Hannibal’s Show normally they both should be the same but I have seen it on where one won’t have the clip just the nut if it doesn’t have a hole for the clip you’re good you can use it the nut is made where it will hold in place but if it has a hole for the clip put a clip in there. Thank you for watching I appreciate you
Hi bigshotta8505 man sorry to hear that. Are you sure won’t go in? It came out. It should be able to go in but I hear you sometimes things are weird. I hope you get it back. Thanks for watching a really appreciate.

Which upper control arm left or right because the right control arm was hard to put the right side bolt in because of that spring

passenger side is not as easy
such a pain, cant get it through because of the spring
I have the same problem.
