Just wait till you hear Yours is an empty hope.
... from Wembley💪
@@marinaandersson4381 of course haha!
From the cruise ;)
FLOORS Growling in the somg Yours is an Empty Hope is so freaking Deep its Epic
Yes! I personally think the mix is better at Wembley.
Tank: elaborate and detailed explenation about a piece of tech and the artist using it.
Also Tank: "horses"
Hahahahahahaha
😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
You are never too old to say 'horses' when you drive past some horses.
BIKES! For all you Tom Segura fans out there :D
@@TankTheTech You're right to point out the horses as they are critical to that section of the track. If you watch the video of them its on loop showing them at full gallop, with the rhythm of the song matching their hooves touching the ground. Clearly your subconscious was telling they were important :). I'm late to the party I know, just catching up on all thing TANK now, keep up the great work.
Dude, "the greatest show on earth" Tampere will give you a field day with the production!
It was (and don't think they've done a bigger one after still) their biggest show till that date, an epic show at their home country to finish a tour, with a filled stadium packed with 23000 people. Simply amazing
I second this.
Don't have enough thumbs to put up this it needs to be done for the production-gasm alone dude
@@Neocoolzero It was also the first Nightwish concert that Floor's parents had ever been to in person.
She had to check exactly where they were to avoid looking at them during the show in case she broke down and had an emotional moment during the show - but of course, she nailed it - and @TankTheTech, you are going to LOVE the effects! Being outdoors, it gave a lot more scope for pyros, and they took full advantage!
Just so you know, keep watching until the credits are over, to get all the easter eggs.
Be careful, as there is a hacked about version of the show online, which misses that part - you are looking for This one: ua-cam.com/video/45brzDJKZ3o/v-deo.html
Those fireworks of this outdoor gig (Tampere Stadium, 2015) are the main reason, I too recommend this version instead of Wembley. Not the fact that I happen to live about a mile from there. I learned about this gig afterwards from a youTube video... Well, at least I saw AC/DC there 2010, with Malcom Young and Phil Rudd in the lineup.

Tampereen Pakkahuone next to the Railway Station is even closer to where I live. That's where 'From Wishes To Eternity' DVD (2000) was shot. And no, I've never seen Nightwish live... :-p
From Wembley Arena:"Shudder before the beautiful", PLEASE!
Tank, dude, I think it's the best opener for a show.
It rocks, hard, you’ll love it Tank 👍 - excellent recommendation from Marina
yes. Yes! YES!
Tampere Version is better.
Di o. Wembley is better for me
When you get to The Greatest Show On Earth, you want the Tampere version. The production in that version will make your naughty bits tingle.
Lol yea the synched up fireworks in that are awesome
I'm torn between Tampere and Wembley. While due to the Tampere being outdoors the production is super-sized, I feel the cinematography and direction is better for Wembley due to the confined nature of arena.
But they are both great performances with their own things that make them special, you can't go wrong with either.
I prefer the Wembley version as Dawkins is on stage with them
Hes exactly doing the songs that i would skip first. Its OK since most others are doing the reactions, but these are by far not my favorite songs
Tank is always talking about Pyros due to his background. The Tampere show is an absolute must for him when it comes to TGSOE!
A lot of the key guys in Nightwish's crew seem to have been with them forever, and it shows.
Yup. It’s very rare to see people with bands for that long.
Hey Tank, Me again. Found a song done by Both Tarja and Floor as a duo shortly after Floor joined Nightwish. It's called "Over the Hills". You can hear both of their distinctive styles. They were long time friends and Tarja had her join her on stage for this one-off. Love your Nightwish Wednesday!
One song you would really like is the opening of Wacken 2013 - Dark Chest of Wonders... Great start for a magical show...
It's one of my favourites and the fact that a gig can get SO much better after such a showstopper is insane!
An epic opener!! I second this.
This song is sooo good, both Tarja and Floor versions
why wacken? why not end of an era? its like wacken was their the only one performance. first ghost river, now that. the band became popular not because of wacken or Floor
YES, do this one !!!
There are two kinds of people. Those who love Nightwish and those who are yet to discover them. Cannot wait for the video, good job Tank, keep up!
There's also a 3rd group - those who don't appreciate great music and/or don't know what that is.
I love Nightwish i her the band for over 15 jyear and yes Floor is the 3rd Female singer and the best the first singer was Tarja Turunen she Bild the Band Nightwish in 1996 with the Keyborder Toumas Holopainen And Empu Vuirinen
I spoke to someone recently that wasn't impressed with Floor and believed Whitney Houston was the greatest singer ever. Some people need to be locked up for life.
@@jasonkadlec3929 The late Whitney Houston was a great vocalist, but not nearly as versatile as Floor. However, I wouldn't lock up people just because they disagree with me on some issues. Should I do that, I'd sooner or later be the only free person around.
@@tarmotyyri6733 please tell me you recognize sarcasm when it's used.
Floor is simply outstanding in every measure you can measure by
Kai Fact: The Greatest show on earth Will blow your mind. Tampere concert 👍 You dont know where To look and it is an rollercoaster of a song. Emotions, Emotions.
Aren't they just the HAPPIEST BAND out there? how many other bands smile as much?
Yeah, it's infectious 😊 I read somewhere that some (presumably jokingly) do not consider Nightwish to be metal because the band members smile "too" often 😄
The only other band out there that looks like they might be having more fun is Epica. Those guys just look like they're having a blast every song.
Has anyone suggested that Tank checkout Crewish? At the very least he should be made aware of how Nightwish has promoted an album of covers by their crew that all proceeds of which are being sent to the crew that can't work during the pandemic.
I was just thinking the same. Would be so cool to see Tank's reaction to some of Crewish songs!
It’ll happen soon.
I did, and also suggested a double reaction to Sleeping Sun by Nightwish and Crewish.
Plus, Tank responded me he's working on an interview with a member of the crew!
🤞🤞Fingers crossed for that, people!🤞🤞
@@flaviovergottini652 great idea, hopefully he'll do both the reaction and intie!
@@ktompa77 it would be awesome, but I think that would make Tank's video as long as "TGSOE" ...😅😅😅 (anyway, I will surely watch it till the very end!😉)
Kalispera! 👋🇮🇹🖖
Loved joining you for this ride. There are over 5 billion videos on UA-cam and I have watched them all. And The Greatest Show On Earth, live from Tampere (including the FULL ending) is without a shadow of a doubt #1 on the whole of UA-cam. The poet and the pendulum from Wembley is #2. So you have indeed something to look forward to.
Well well well.....next YOURS IS AN EMPTY HOPE! 😉🤘🌪
Must do. My favorite Nightwish song. Wembley version (though Tampere is nice, too)
The other great Wembley songs are: While your lips are still Red, Shudder before the beautiful and of Course the shining star of Nightwish songs, Poet and the Pendulum.
Poet and the Pendulum is a masterpiece of a song
I get blown away by 7 Days To The Wolves whenever I listen to it. It's so freaking massive. One of the best live performances by Nightwish.
HOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOWL....... SEVEN DAYS TO THE WOOOOOOOOOOLVES !
Excellent choice ! This one is a very underrated song of theirs and damn, it's such an amazing one.
Once the chorus hits you, you can't get it out of your head lol
Howl! I experienced this song live. Almost exploded with the energy. Absolutely incomprehensible.
dark chest of wanders..it was their opener at wacken..if you wanna see some cool pyro and lightning in action
It’s such a great song and opener
And an new definition of starting with a bang.
"Wonders" xD
Yvonne Campbell Dark Chest of Wanders would be funny. A mysterious chest of aimless wandering adventures
@@patrickschardt7724 Yes indeed xD
It got crazy when Floor said, "Wembley let's go!". 😁 Was not really that familiar with this song until I saw this Wembley performance when I bought the DVD, now it's one of my favorite Nightwish songs. 🤘🤘
“Is this- where cowards- and heroes- part ways?!” “Wembley let’s go!” YESS!! And you guys are the heroes! And everything from there gives me goosebumps 🤯
What's a fun fact? I only know Tank Facts.
Hahahaha
Are you implying tank facts are not fun? :P
Tank = fun
This totally made me laugh. Pretty much me too. Now all facts are “Tank Facts”
Same..
Biggest pyro they did as fas as im concerned was with the Tampere show especially for the The Greatest Show on Earth bit, that's a 20-minute epic that you'll enjoy watching but I think and I know you also think that you're not ready for that song yet if you really meant it when you said you're not doing Poet and the Pendulum yet.
Just saying that big pyro-wise, Greatest Show On Earth at Tampere is the one.
Gosshh, she's such a beast🤘🏻🤘🏻🤘🏻 that windmill tho... 🤘🏻🤘🏻🤘🏻
Dead Boy’s Poem live in Buenos Aires. In fact, nearly every track from that show ends with the crowd chanting, “Floor! Floor! Floor!”
Once again enjoying Nightwish with the Tank.
One of my Favs. Not sure I'll get top see the premiere, but I'll be watching as soon as i can. Floor's primal scream to the crowd and windmilling are top notch in this one.
I always look forward to this moment when I see this song. She's so badass
One day...SOME DAY....hopefully, just maybe...Universe willing...."Poet and the Pendulum" from Wembley? PLEASE?
It’s gonna happen eventually. 😎
@@TankTheTech remember to try and get a version with the lyrics as subs, it helps a lot :)
AND DO RESEARCH!!!
It's a MUST !!!
@@TankTheTech Just watch the beginning of Chase's reaction. He's done all the song research for you. ;)
Now that you mentioned, how awesome the crew is: They are. And right now, they are unemployed. And probably out of pure boredom, they came together for a project: Crewish (Unemployed Blacksmiths). The Nightwish crew (minus Nightwish) formed a band and they release a Nightwish cover album. Their album and merch is distributed through the official Nightwish shop.
They also have an official youtube channel. There you can find some teasers, music video and most importantly: 'An Evening With Crewish' where the members are introduced. It's hillarious.
I've checked some of it out and it's awesome. All of us crew guys are unemployed right now and trying to find stuff to do. That's the reason I started this channel. Haha. But hands down, the Nightwish Crew has found the best thing to do with their downtime so far.
Man not only is it so fuckin fun to watch you enjoy Nightwish, I'm learning a whole new facet to their music - because of your background as a roadie. So thanks!
Thank YOU!
I love that they tied visual aspects from Wolves of the Calla to this performance - the horses in the background are the grey horses that the “wolves” ride when they come into town, and I think the sudden pyro reflects the gunfight/battle that happens after that ride, just like in the book. I love Stephen King and Nightwish!
Things you never thought you'd say: Heavy metal bouzouki solo!
Poet and the pendulum is the show stopper at Wembley, but it's nightwish,it's all amazing.
I've seen like a milion reactions to Nightwish and your perspective in unique! Love it!🖤
You don't know what heavy is until you have listened to Master passion greed by Nightwish. Also try Amorphis, Shades of gray. Great head banger!
Master Passion Greed needs to happen, I've been insisting on that one aswell :D
It’s a good song but come on man; “don’t know what heavy is”?!? I suspect neither do you.
Master passion greed is something you almost never see reactors doing
@@DrSkeff here we go with the elitism....talking in Nightwish terms dude, amongst the Nightwish catalogue, not comparing it to other bands...
@@DrSkeff I suspect a neutron star is rather heavy.
His first Wembley show...??? Wait, he hasn't heard PatP yet? Oh damn, he hasn't...
I noticed that Tuomas was doing a windmill right there. Man, Floor is a great teacher
Thanks Tank! Now every time the "galloping" part starts, I hear "horses"........
Hahahahaha
Master, Passion, Greed with Marco on vocals
I like watching voice coaches react and analyze Floor's singing, I like to watch Chase for analyzing the music, and Tank for the insight into what goes on behind the scenes. I also like to watch Natemares and Suite Clarity for their reactions. All of these combined give me a whole new appreciation for Nightwish and their team.
I LOVE the fact you have Wintersun in the background!!!
love the wintersun background sooooo beautiful
Shudder before the Beautiful (Wembly)! One of my all time favorites. Also from Wembly - Yours Is An Empty Hope. There's something special happening with Floor in that song...
i think in the end when Tuomas is headbanging, the crew has put some big big nails in the keyboard stand, and hammered the stand in the stage dont you think so Tank ??
First time I saw this, I honestly thought the keyboard stand ain’t gonna make it.
Yeah. That stuff is getting seriously bolted down meanwhile, also are the stands much heavier and sturdier than during their early years. You can see the difference to the first third of their career. He was much more considerate about how he moved or how hard he hammered the keys back then. (Except for those "4 or 5 times" where he accidentally slammed his head into the keys or gotten his hair stuck......) For the past 10 years he's definitely gone full out. lol
@@Ilionej You are a great and loyal fan to observe that! Defiantly a great sign of their longevity as performers!
Underrated song. Underrated album.
One of my favorite Nightwish songs, with a direct link to one of my favorite book series.
Also, nice catch on Troy's bouzouki. I'm not surprised that you are the first reactor I've seen to note it.
This song actually got me reading The Dark Tower!
I just love how the song builds and builds, and sneaks up on you. Before you know it, you are banging your head at literally double the tempo. So good!
Nice! Someone already said you're gonna be overwhelmed by the Tampere version of The Greatest Show On Earth. Not to spoil the surprise but Tuomas has said he's a huge fan of fireworks, so expect the best. ;D
Fucking awesome reaction my friend!! Oh and by the way YES this was filmed for a Live DVD. Both the Tampere Finland show and this Wembley Arena show were both filmed to be on the VEHICLE OF SPIRIT Live DVD/Blu-ray which was released back in December 16, 2016 (Europe) / January 6, 2017 (North America). On that DVD was also the bonus material which included a Richard Dawkins Interview because of his participation in Greatest Show On Earth (so something to look forward to!!)
Thanks buddy!
You want pyro? You NEED to watch Greatest Show on Earth from the Tampere concert. You are going to have a field day with that one XD
The trusses went down after your famous word "horses". Probably for the difference in lighting during/after that.
Oh, hell yes! Been waiting for this one. Haven’t even watched it yet, but here’s the ‘like’ - “Let’s Go!”
THANK YOU!! This is definitely one of my favourite songs from Nightwish. The show is also great.
For fun, you should go and watch the rest of the stuff you've already seen done at Wembley. It's an awesome show!
The siren, dark chest of wonders, and waking the dreamer, poet and the pendulum.
You have definitely deliverd with your Nightwish reactions! 30 videos!!
I got here a bit late but at least i dont have to wait for any
Alot of reactors start Nightwish reactions get the Nightwish army to sub then go all quiet!
You have definitely delivered!!
Love that you cant help it when you headbang
I'm stuck at home with a cold and rewatching your reactions. Hearing you talk about fire marshals brought back a fun memory! One year I was attending Tuska Open Air (metal festival in Helsinki, Finland) and I was about to see Sonata Arctica perform on the main stage. I was waiting for the show to start when I see someone I know on the side of the stage. My godfather is a fire marshal in Helsinki and he was there, obviously to check the band's pyros. I wasn't expecting to see him there talking to their crew members and because I was at the front, I decided to wave at him. He happened to notice me, waved back, and then got a wave from the rest of the crowd as well! I don't know why I wanted to share this, just a memory that makes me smile each time. Anyway, I really appreciate these reactions and all the little facts you share with us :)
Hi, Tank. @Phayntom (my husband) and I love your reaction videos. As the wife of a musician and a former teacher, one of the things that I appreciate most about your reaction videos is that you take the time to explain the technical aspects of the gear used or the pyrotechnics in the performance and all of the work that goes into putting on a show. This isn't something that I believe most people who go to shows (or follow bands, for that matter) give a though to at all. I love your Tank Facts! You are entertaining and informative to watch. We appreciate you. Keep up the amazing work!
Thank you so very much! I’m glad I can take the opportunity in my videos to explain a little bit more than just the average stuff. It’s fun to share the knowledge I’ve gained over the years with everyone, because at one point, I didn’t know about any of this either!
Hey there! Really liked your stories about crew working. Ive been a fan of NW and things that get to me all the time is all the details in the production, song, performance...everything.. they band and crew is really pro:s of their stuff! Let mote NW reactions come! 🤘💪🙌🙂
You should check out the Nightwish show The End of an Era (again). My favourite full concert DVD.
Took a while for the hat to come off this time, but off it came...and head banging commenced!
YOURS IS AN EMPTY HOPE from Wembley!!!
When "Song Of Myself"??
i think its time for the greatest show on earth live at Tampere! its my favorite song by nightwish its based around the birth of the universe and leads to the death of human kind. it really makes you appreciate the world we live in and how beautiful it is as well reminds you how lucky we truly are. Loved the video tank as usual you killed it great work cant wait for the next one!
At the end FLOORROAR 🤗i love it.
You're right, it does start off middle of the road and it wasn't really until that live version that I started to appreciate the song a lot more. But it is Nightwish, so I should have known.
It is inspired by 'Wolves of the Calla' from the Stephen King Dark Tower books. I love those books too, so it was one of those cool intersections of fiction and music favs.
Those lamps what you noticed, came down around 7:40
From your first vid, I knew this one would be pure candy for a roadie/technician!
Fantastic analysis! In the future you might react to "Yours An Empty Hope" from the 2015 Wenbley Arena concert; It is a song that taking into account the Slayer vinyl that you have stuck on the wall behind you, I am convinced that, especially the guttural chorus, you are going to appreciate it. Greetings from Argentina-
I predict your reaction to The Greatest Show on Earth (Tampere) to be 60+ minutes long^^ Not only is this a 20 mins beast of a song, there's also SO MUCH going on production-wise. Can't wait! 🤘
Poet and the Pendulum? This dude couldn't handle The Islander. Bring tissues and a shoulder to cry on. Thanks for the react, great song based on the Stephen King book.
It's so cool to have your reaction and opinion with your tech Background.
The greatest show on earth is in my opinion the Nightwish masterpiece. Be sure to react to the Tampere version, it's pure awesomeness
Just found your channel😊🤘 as a huge Nightwish fan and Finnish really enjoy your reactions🤘🤘
Thanks a ton!
YES!! I love this song. I'm pumped to watch you react to it.
Love all your insights! It's amazing how much goes on into putting on a show like this!
Mate again you looked surprised. By now you must know: there are no Nightwish Bathroom songs.
Isn't that what drum solos are for?
Yeah. Only Finnish Sauna songs.
Ok so... while we are on the Wembley show.. Check out "Shudder before the beautiful" The set opener (very underrated I feel), and also the song that comes after that "Yours is an empty hope" (With more Floor goodness you haven't seen yet), you'll understand why when you hear it ;) Keep up the good work, and looking forward to next wednesday!
For more bazuki, check out Dead Boy's Poem from the 2018 Buenos Aires concert.
Dead Boy's Poem - Buenos Aires concert. Just do it.
It was shot for the Vehicle of Spirit Live dvd and album. I have the album on iTunes.
At the 5:05 mark in the video, can we talk about Marko playing those off-timed hits while also singing? Amazing.
Thank you for doing one of my favorites! Love watching you headbang with Floor. Hard to keep up with her!
Man! We have to get you to one of their shows!
I made it through them all again tonight lol.
Like others have said, Weak Fantasy or Yours is an empty Hope. Both favorites of mine.
Yes, 7 Days...!! For a reason or another, 7 Days to the Wolves is at the top of the list for me.
7:40
Right at that point you can start to see lights sink into frame at the top, as the trusses (?) start moving/angling down.
Our Goddess Floor
Shudder before the beautiful , Wembley arena, the most epic way to start a show, and The Tuomas-Emppu duel is almost out of this world
Tank I'm a fan love your reactions. I agree with everyone the greatest show on earth will blow your mind with emotions, fun fact the back track has buck piece.. research a must. Tampere I agree there's a video where nightwish have a special guest speak after the song
Awesome reaction to an awesome song.
Excellent reaction to an excellent song! I totally second everyone who says, "Wembley, let's go!" is the moment that starts taking it over the top...as an aside, one of the very best songs based on a King novel, although a TON of metal bands seem to find inspiration in his work :)
that was amazing. Your pyro breakdown was so educational! now you have to do Rammstein just for the pyro breakdown like the device on "Engel"
Second this. Yeah, would love for you to do a review of Rammstein's shows from a pyro/crew/roadie perspective!
I wonder how many licenses do they have and how many fire marshals tremble in terror during their shows, hehe. I've read somewhere that all of the band members had a professional pyro training. Also, Yes, Engel, Mein Teil , Du Riechst So Gut, to name a few, are a must see.
@@petyaivanova9629 You're right about the pyro training. Think this is because at the beginning they didn't and Till actually burnt himself pretty badly a couple of times.
I just went into the comments to mention the same thing. Tank, you have to do some Rammstein reactions! :)))
Yours is an Empty Hope from Wembley. You'll love that one.
Thank you. Planet Hell End Of An Era.
Great reaction Tank, really. I KNEW this one would blow your mind, because it goes crazy after a quite "average" start... But the pyros, Floor windmilling like forever, the increasing rythm... It leads to an amazing ending. It is actually my brothers fav Nightwish song, and there is a reason for that.
Another great Wembley one is Yours Is An Empty Hope 👌
Poet and The Pendulum is an amazing song to do!!
You HAVE to do Yours is an empty hope. Either from Wembley or from Tampere, or also Rock in Rio, a new setlist for you to explore... Be prepared to be surprised, blown away and fall to your knees in disbelief.
