This was excellent. James runs a tight ship and Bill Eadie is an intelligent and easy to listen to interviewee. Maybe the most intelligent of all the wrestlers.
I found this interview extremely interesting. Demolition was my favorite tag team as a kid. I didn't know anything about his time in Japan or the Masked Superstar. He really had one hell of a career.
It seems like he likes to focus on that side of his career in interviews more than Demolition, but I sure never heard of it before seeing it in his interviews. Before my time I guess.
Another excellent interview! Bill is a good story teller. He's very articulate. He definitely had an amazing career as a professional wrestler! Hopefully, Bill will write a book about his pro wrestling career, his friends/foes, and his adventures on the road. Demolition deserves to be in The Hall of Fame. Bill should also be in The Hall of Fame as The Masked Superstar! I hope I get the chance to meet this legend!
Thank you Bill for all the years of entertainment/escape from the ridiculous world we live in. I didn't know about your Mongols and masked superstar work, was born in '76. The machines and demolition work is how i knew about you much better. You've always been consistent, humble, decent and such an amazing talent then most understand 🍻🎖️
The interviews with more intelligent and educated wrestlers really stand out from the others. For example, both Bill Eadie and Shane Douglas/Troy Martin give excellent, thought out interviews. This channel has definitely become the premier wrestling channel on UA-cam. Like the guests, having an intelligent host and owner/operator makes a huge difference. Congratulations on the success. Your approach and hard work is very noticeable to those who know what to look for.
Love this interview. Been watching clips for the past week. Bill was already in his forties when they formed Demolition. Hard to believe he turns seventy-six later this month.
Bill Eadie is a perfect shoot interview ! he was a great worker in every company you can imagine, he booked territories, and he’s a man of character ! there is nothing Fake about Ax One part of wrestling’s greatest ever tag team …FACT !!
As a kid I used to watch Bill as the Masked Superstar on Mid Atlantic Championship Wrestling. He was big, muscular, agile and intimidating. Just his presence and his matter of fact delivery could scare you through the screen. It is nice to know the bad guy persona was a work and the real Bill Eadie is a laid back gentleman.
I had the pleasure to meet Bill Eadie two years ago in Jackson Tn. He was a very kind and gracious man. We share a background of teaching and coaching and we visited for 20 minutes. Great wrestler, the Masked Superstar was my favorite masked wrestler ever!
Usually, my ADHD causes me to jump around on long shoot interviews, but not this time. I watched start to finish. Just love James interviewing style. Great channel 😊❤
What an endlessly entertaining interview with an icon. Bill - thank you for all the entertainment throughout your career, what a class act (and Axe was such a badass gimmick).
Wow, I never knew Bill is a fellow SAG-AFTRA brother! That made my night hearing that! I started 15 years ago in the industry and all this time never knew that. No I can say he's half of one of my favorite all time tag teams as well as a Union sibling - very cool!
Was a lotta fun when Bill and Andre wrestled as Super Machine and Giant Machine from Japan from the Island of Fu-Yu- Too . And how the announcers played dumb trying to figure out who Giant Machine was under the mask.
The Masked Superstar was my favorite wrestler when I was kid back in 80's. I actually sent Bill a letter through the mail to Georgia championship wrestling asking about a mask pattern... no reply.. so I made my own Superstar masks using store kniited hates that long enough to unfold and cover face, I used crafting material to cut out exactly the the face nose and mouth piece and cut stars out for top of mask with glitter and glued the pieces to the knit hat... I had 4 or 5 color combos, they where legit I'm telling ya.
God I love him. What a warm, helpful human being. One of the smoothest, most intelligent wrestlers in the business and a mentor to so many. An angel in the business.
I said this before but it's important to know where your fans are coming from. I've never been the biggest fan of in ring action but I do have a fascination with the real people and the backstage politics. The few interviews I have watched so far have been really good. Relaxed, a good balance of keeping things moving but letting them tell their stories too.
James, this is the best wrestler podcast interview that I have listened to up to this moment from any provider. In my opinion, it is arguably the best wrestling podcast interview, period. This statement is based on two observations. One, the interviewer being prepared, knowledgeable and structured in the subject matter and the delivery. Two, the interviewee. Bill Eadie is an intelligent, well spoken, respectful gentleman. Bring these two characteristics together and this is the result. I have been a Bill Eadie fan from the late 70s in Mid-Atlantic Championship Wrestling. He is a tough competitor that knows his craft. This interview was very enlightening. "Please ,sir...may I have some more?" Keep up the good work👍
Awww man, Demolition is my greatest tag team of all time, and I’m definitely going to have to come back and watch this in its entirety with some homemade lemonade and popcorn🍿
What a gem of an interview. I have met Bill several times and he is a class act. James, you have really set a new standard in shoot interviews. More like a conversation than an "interview", your attention to detail and presentation are first class.
What's with the Dudley thing? They're immensely popular but I just never got it. To me, they looked like a goofy team, like big jobbers that would be temporarily used as comedic relief.
Bill Eadie is the reason I got into watching Professional wrestling. The Masked Superstar was absolutely the BEST hands down. Sounds like a decent dude who knows his stuff. ALL RESPECT BILL EADIE.
Ax was my favorite wrestler as a kid. Demolition made me a wrestling fan. Thank you Bill for many great memories. If I were to guess who may have been the other potential Smash's, Blackjack/Big Machine, Ron Bass, Cpl.Kirchner, Buzz Sawyer, and Sika all seem like possibilities.
Bill Eadie is responsible for hooking me on wrestling. When I was about 5 or 6, I saw his face turn in the NWA (the 6:05 Eastern show on Saturdays that ran forever.) I knew he was a "bad guy" and seeing him switch sides and become a "good guy" captivated me. It's still one of my favorite wrestling memories all these years later. Thank you, Mr. Eadie.
It warms my heart to see these performers of the years... You get to know them on a personal basis, and realize how human they really are. And I thank Bill Eadie and so many others for entertaining me as a child with great matches and moments in WWE! You have to respect these wrestlers for their gimmicks, their incredible skills, and their willingness to put smiles on our faces.
As always another great interview James. I love listening to Bill Eadie with all his knowledge and experience. Demolition has always been my favorite tag team and Ax was always my favorite!
WSI is the best UA-cam channel for interviews. Wrestling Bios is my favorite wrestling related channel, but its a different style of channel. If i want a good interview...this is the channel for me.
James keep it coming! This interview with Bill is fantastic. I listen to everything you do with Dutch and loved the Al Snow interview as well. These are the kind of “shoot” interviews I enjoy hearing instead of the ones made for pure shock value. I currently have Story time with Dutch fighting with Kliq This for the title of best wrestling podcast. Thanks again for the amazing content!
A terrific interview with such a decent and incredibly insightful icon. Always liked Bill Eadie and Barry Darsow, both in the ring and on interviews since. Hope to meet him one day
I still find it difficult to believe Fuji was Champion with Professor Toru Tanaka who was in Running Man as Sub Zero along with Enter or Revenge of Ninja among other movies. Moondog Spot or so I remember him in that team. Though its funny how many in crowd would recognize him. Until Bill reveals all 4 considered for Demolition they should stay out of HOF haha. I'm not even sure I can recall The Masked Superstar hah. Though its cool to hear about him in Japan or when they tried to sway to the other company. John wanting to be The Giant is natural. I can't imagine trying to Bench 300 much less 600 pounds. I was not big on that lift as strain on wrists or needing good spotters. I was Road Warriors Fan so was not big on the WWF knockoffs. I was more of a NWA fan. They kinda reminded me of Kiss Meets King Diamond. He's A Nice Teacher ;).
I saw Dusty put himself ahead of the Rock & Roll Express and finally driving them out of Mid Atlantic because of the jealousy Bill is speaking of. I was a huge fan of The Masked Superstar.
Once again, James proves he has one of the best Wrestling podcasts anywhere. The guests he interviews are top-notch members of their business. Keep up the great work.
What an absolute gentleman 🙌🏼👏 James you need to get Ron Fuller on your show. He’s IS wrestling history. Bless your show James, nothing will stand in your way.
Bill is a class act, well spoken and quick witted. Always enjoy hearing him talk about his career
Bill Eadie is like the uncle that teaches you how fly fish and play chess
This was excellent. James runs a tight ship and Bill Eadie is an intelligent and easy to listen to interviewee. Maybe the most intelligent of all the wrestlers.
Always going to love the Franchise. There's pride in that retail job. If you gotta work he's the guy you wanna work for.
Love Bill Eadie and all his interviews. Could listen to him all day!
I found this interview extremely interesting. Demolition was my favorite tag team as a kid. I didn't know anything about his time in Japan or the Masked Superstar. He really had one hell of a career.

I'm still laughing about the Teddy Long viagra stuff, just priceless 🙌🕺

Marty Janetty is another example of one of the more educated wrestlers 👌
🤜🤛
@@JD0586 Dawn Marie is a absolute genius as well
I love it when wrestlers talk about quantum physics and foreign policy
What education have they had? How do you know their qualifications? Has eadie been to college ?
@@mitchellandrews1015I think he was a highschool teacher
Love this interview. Been watching clips for the past week. Bill was already in his forties when they formed Demolition. Hard to believe he turns seventy-six later this month.
Class act .. Well done James and Bill for a fantastic interview..
Bill Eadie is a perfect shoot interview ! he was a great worker in every company you can imagine, he booked territories, and he’s a man of character ! there is nothing Fake about Ax One part of wrestling’s greatest ever tag team …FACT !!
This is the best interview I've seen in ages.
By far, my favorite tag team - Demolition!

Good mic too
His fued with Mr. WRESTLING II is still burned into my childhood memories. ❤
I had the pleasure to meet Bill Eadie two years ago in Jackson Tn. He was a very kind and gracious man. We share a background of teaching and coaching and we visited for 20 minutes. Great wrestler, the Masked Superstar was my favorite masked wrestler ever!

Bill's voice is so soothing. This interview was wonderful.
I was thinking the same thing. So soothing and so odd that this is the same guy I grew up watching scream.
What an endlessly entertaining interview with an icon. Bill - thank you for all the entertainment throughout your career, what a class act (and Axe was such a badass gimmick).
Ax**
The reason I got hooked on professional wrestling. The Masked Superstar. Mr. Bill Eadie.
Bill Eadie has always been a great interview. Also one huge bastard as the Masked Superstar.
Fantastic conversation. Bill is such a well-spoken and gracious gentleman.
Bill Eadie "Demolition "AX" interviews are fantastic , the guy is smart and full of info that is always interesting.
I could listen to Bill talk all day and never get bored for a minute
Bill is a class act!!! Much respect for him. I really enjoyed watching you as The Mask Superstar.
Much health to you in retirement.
Thank you

He's like J.J. Dillion in that he has looked old since he was young, but hasn't showed any signs of aging in the past 30 years.
Absolute class bill eadie interview a true legend of the game

Like him or not Hannibal has the two best I’ve came across. His interviews with HTM and Marty Jannetty are must see shoots
Masked Superstar. Absolute gem
I remember ax was my first Hasbro action figure
Ironically, Ax and Smash were the last ones I bought. I never saw them in stores so I ended up buying them used.
Awww man, Demolition is my greatest tag team of all time, and I’m definitely going to have to come back and watch this in its entirety with some homemade lemonade and popcorn🍿
The Masked Superstar! I remember his early 80s WWF run, including his matches with then WWF Champion Bob Backlund. Great talent and always articulate.
What a gem of an interview. I have met Bill several times and he is a class act. James, you have really set a new standard in shoot interviews. More like a conversation than an "interview", your attention to detail and presentation are first class.
Awesome interview. Demolition is my favorite tag team after The Dudley Boyz. Thanks for having Bill on. Classy guy and a true legend.
What's with the Dudley thing? They're immensely popular but I just never got it. To me, they looked like a goofy team, like big jobbers that would be temporarily used as comedic relief.
James, you do such a good job of letting your interview subjects speak uninterrupted. Keep up the great work.
After a couple of health scares awhile back, I’m glad af to see Bill still reminiscing
Bill Eadie is the reason I got into watching Professional wrestling. The Masked Superstar was absolutely the BEST hands down. Sounds like a decent dude who knows his stuff. ALL RESPECT BILL EADIE.
Absolutely brilliant interview! Great fan f bill eadie an absolute must, if possible to have on again. Awesome
Fantastic Interview James n Ax Bill. I was waiting for this for a while. Absolutely phenomenal

By far my fave shoot interviewee. Both him and Barry are great to listen to.

Bill Eadie is a good dude.
Will always be the Masked Superstar to me
Love these shoot interviews!! 🙌
As a kid who grew up with Demolition as a scary heel team, it's only in recent years I've realised how much I utterly fucking love them
The masked superstar was my favorite wrestler as bad guy or as a good guy
The Masked Superstar is on our Mt. Rushmore of wrestlers..Bill is such a kind soul.. great guy 🤘🏼
The masked superstar .never faced the super machine tho
This was pure class!!!! An amazing man and probably most underated wrestler ever!!
WSI is the best UA-cam channel for interviews.
Wrestling Bios is my favorite wrestling related channel, but its a different style of channel.
If i want a good interview...this is the channel for me.
Yooo I loved the Masked Superstar when he came to the WWF
vince did not create that character, so he made him and Darsow his own version of the Road Warriors.
Demolition was my favourite tag team as a kid. This was a terrific interview.

Great interview. Can't wait to see Barry's interview.
I could listen for 4 hours great interviewer , great guest
Both guys are real gents. Love the golden era interviews. 👍🏻
Such a great interview.
As always a great interview James. This is a great way to start the weekend.
Banger James!
Thank you Bill. Class act interview without repeated profanity.
So many times James seems to encourage people to use the F word.
Absolutely amazing that you got bill and barry is to come....easily my favourite tag team of all time growing up

True Legend & class Act in Professional Wrestling.
This is really good.Much love and respect to this all time great and nice guy. Here comes the ax…
I could listen to Bill all day. Masked Superstar was one of my favorites when I discovered GCW
I wonder if Bill played college football? He certainly had the size and agility.
I hope Bill Eadie stay with us for a long time if he goe a big childhood will die with him❤
Vince is no longer in charge so can we please get Demolition in the 2024 Hall of Fame please
Great!
Love his energy!!!! Hope him well!!
Phenomenal interview! I love the OG’s! The Golden age of wrestling is my favorite after that the attitude era!
nice
Bill is like Arn Anderson. He enjoyed it, enjoyed the fans..good or bad and did what he was told!! Wrestlers like that have gone by the wayside.
I saw Dusty put himself ahead of the Rock & Roll Express and finally driving them out of Mid Atlantic because of the jealousy Bill is speaking of. I was a huge fan of The Masked Superstar.

Bill Eadie could have been an invaluable asset behind the sceens at least it appears. Too bad he couldn't have become an agent.
Bill is such a soft spoken Gentleman!
Demolition was my favorite tag team in wrestling growing up as a kid
That shirt is awesome
I grew up 30 miles south of Pittsburgh. Is the town Bill was speaking of Washington, Pennsylvania perhaps or that area?
Perryopolis, PA here!....I read somewhere he was born in Brownsville, PA...maybe his grandparents were from there
@@shep938 Brownsville is not far from where I grew up. We used to go there and hang out and also do some fishing.

Awesome as always, small advice as an optician keep your glasses next to your computer or get a 2nd pair 😂
