Yes, I didn’t ask about Shamrock and we didn’t get to The Outsiders questions - but good news is we’ve already agreed to do a part 2 later in the year so I’ll get all the stories then.
sags i think is the best interview you've done. number 1 is his audio quality is superb, but he is so articulate and forthcoming, seems straight up honest about everything with no embellishment. it really is shocking to see his true nature compared to what somebody would expect based on his wrestling persona.
I've gained so much more respect for Sags and Knobbs. Always thought so highly of them, rooting against them and cheering them on growing up. They gave their all to their characters, and this man here still takes pride in his work. It shows to this very day. Mad respect, Mr. Sags.
Fantastic interview, Saggs looks healthy, and in great shape. More importantly he seems to look back on those days with fondness and remembers the good times, he never gets upset or angry even when talking about the fine from the fart. I always like it when the wrestler seems happy and in a good place in his life, after all wrestling is more often than not, something you do early in your life, then you need to get on with the rest of it.
I have never commented on any of your interviews but this one, I have too.... this is by far the best interview I have ever watched/heard - whether podcast, tv, radio!! Mr Sags is such an interesting and riveting person, he conducts himself & the business with so much respect, his life stories & revolutions is so interesting & I could listen to them all!! As for you, how you sit back, let him speak and not interrupt like other interviews do, is so refreshing & appreciated!! Thank yous both
Never paid attention to these guys. Much respect. In particular Jerry. Whoda thunk it ? Clarative and clear voiced. Quite calm. And great stories. I’m a fan of wsi. And his interview style. Enjoyed. Thanks guys
Holy Crap Saggs...God gave you a Gift.....the giftbof story telling!!! Thank you. I haven't laughed like that for awhile! 45 yr old here...not my daughter...who has obviously made use of my YT acct
I really enjoy your shoot interviews James. Very clean ,no shit talking on talent and great questions. I enjoyed the Ax,Sags and Warlord interviews. I'm looking forward to the complete Smash interview. Btw, I knew Smash was Repo Man. When I was a kid I knew just buy Repo Mans voice in a promo. That was the given away.
When I think about how meny of our childhood Wrestlers have passed away... it's astounding. It's hard to comprehend that so meny are no longer with us, Wrestlers we watched with excitement as children and we popped as teenagers, we watched them evolve in time, and we witnessed them become huge stars, they put smiles on our faces as kids, giving us all extraordinary memories to keep for lifetime. I never thought in a million years when i was kid that today at age 43, I would be counting the meny wrestlers that entertained us would not be here today ...the list is shocking. It's who's, who in the world of pro wrestling. It must be ruff for Sags & Knobbs to go through memory lane because you see there faces glem when they mention wrestlers they loved as brothers, who are no longer with us and they go down this nostalgic memory. Sags lights up with great stories.
The Nasty Boys were always one of my favorites, before they hit it big in WCW the 1st go around they used to go to my uncles bar in Dunedin Florida called Joe Dugans… I also met Knobbs at the old Wagon Wheel flea market in Seminole Fl, he was a cool dude, talked to him for about an hour
Love Hockey getting the shout out (from Coplay). 30 plus years ago when I was a skinny, high schooler, saw you lifting at Eskimo's, throwing around the biggest dumbells they had. It inspired me and I worked hard. Never found a gym with dumbbells too big for me to press. Also love the props for the Millen family (good people). We all hope Matt's health improves.
Loved the nasties’ as a kid…always wanted that haircut, but wasn’t allowed to and enjoyed giving my little brother the pit stop! Great to see/hear him so lucid after all those matches.
This is an awesome interview. Great responses by Sags and i appreciate that he doesnt duck any questions. The savage-elizabeth fart story is tremondous.
Loved the Nasty Boys ❤❤❤❤, Me and my Childhood Friend Jeff looked like them around 1989 in Elementary school, He looked just like knobbs and i looked Like Saggs, Same hairstyles as well ❤
Great interview! Sags is a cool dude with great stories of wrestling when it was at its peak. Nevermind the Shamrock question. He was drunk out of his mind and Sags cheap shot him with a phone and almost murdered him. Shamrock would have beat the piss out of him and Knobs if the circumstances would have been different. Sags was lucky and Shamrock was dumb to go up to his room thinking that he was going to receive anything other than a near death experience. Sags is awesome, but don't respect what he did. This is absolutely the best wrestling podcast around and watch almost every interview. Thanks, James 💯💪
Lord, here we go again.... Shamrock idiotically busted into The Nasty's hotel room (which is a crime BTW) and Sags understandably reacted in self defense.... Shamrock was so full of himself. The Nasty Boys were both big and strong guys, and Sags especially wasn't someone you messed with.... And Ken decides to break into their hotel.
Nasty Boys have always been a class act. Top five tag team all time in my opinion. I wish they would have had a longer run with the titles. The intro music is still something I think about often.
I was going to say that the Nasty Boys were on the wcw 93 uk tour with the Arn and Sid incident. I was at the Cardiff show.he mentions it at 1:40:00 mark.
I would have never recognized him if I didn't already know who he was (not a bad thing 😉). Great interview and I'm glad to see he seems to be doing well.
Jerry tells alot of great stories, he's full of Wrestling knowledge. I watched them first back in the AWA and CWA in Memphis. Jerry, to me, here sounds like Bret Hart.
What people don’t know….he was 3 points away from a perfect SAT score. He tried military but his ASVAB Score was so high they wanted to make him a General but WWE Called.
Just met the Nasty Boys at a big wrestling convention and they were the nicest guys there...they would sit there and talk to you for an hour if you wanted. They even asked me to pick out what color pens I wanted for each guy...most wrestlers just sign with black ink over a dark picture and don't even ask
There’s an interview on here with road warrior animal And he was asked who were the wrestlers he didn’t want to mess with. Of course the staple Andre and Haku came up then he pauses and says “and Sags. Sags hits like a mule”

How could you not? As soon as I saw this interview the 2 things i most wanted to know about were the Shamrock and Hall stories.
@@MrMortadella1
And Knobbs getting stabbed in Illinois.
I mean everyone’s heard the Shamrock bit numerous times so I’d rather hear new questions
Good On you! He's sick and tired of the question.
I have faith in you James 😸
YES!!!!! This one is already a wrestling shoot CLASSIC!!!!!!! Sags is the man and these stories are valuable wrestling history!! Thank you!!
He looks better now than he did 20 yrs ago, great interview!
Exactly what I was thinking he looks healthier and nearly the same age as he did 30 years ago
I think he is diabetic. He can't hold weight like he did back in the 00's and earlier.
I never thought I'd be saying these words in the same sentence, but Nasty Boy Jerry Sags is an intelligent, well-spoken man.
sags i think is the best interview you've done. number 1 is his audio quality is superb, but he is so articulate and forthcoming, seems straight up honest about everything with no embellishment. it really is shocking to see his true nature compared to what somebody would expect based on his wrestling persona.
And the company he keeps. Knobbs is a whole different animal.
You should do more interviews with him he has great stories.
Thanks James! Been waiting for this one my friend!
Have you been waiting? Must be boring
You part of the cancer@@joeh2236
Another awesome interview James. Love the Nasty Boys and all their stories coming up.
*Great interview and great laughs!!! Hope to see Jerry as a regular guest as he's the real deal!!! .....Kudos to James for another great one!*

I love listening to these interviews! Thanks for the great stuff!

Quite calm. And great stories. I’m a fan of wsi. And his interview style. Enjoyed. Thanks guys
Great story teller. I could listen to him for hours.
I was never a Nasty Boys fan. But this interview definitely made me a Jerry Sags fan!
Saggs is anything but Nasty! Great interview, great guy🙂
He’s a very sweet guy. He was a great entertainer!
Sags is full of cool stories, and he seems like a good dude.
Love this interview! So opposite of his in-ring character. Clear and great recollection of his career.
Holy Crap Saggs...God gave you a Gift.....the giftbof story telling!!! Thank you. I haven't laughed like that for awhile! 45 yr old here...not my daughter...who has obviously made use of my YT acct
Sags seems to be much healthier than knobs at their older ages!! God bless them both they are good memories of my childhood
has good vivid memories and tells stories really good and accurate. basic training is always tough getting you broke in .
I have a habit of watching how wrestlers run the ropes. I love how Jerry just jumps right into them!😀
"Fart heard around the world" ...soon after goes on to say "blown out of proportion". Unintentional but funny.
I really enjoy your shoot interviews James. Very clean ,no shit talking on talent and great questions. I enjoyed the Ax,Sags and Warlord interviews. Sags lights up with great stories.
I beg my friend every year to dress as the nasty boys for halloween. He never wants to do it. I am thinking of not being friends with him anymore.
😂 I'd do it
Not a true friend.
It's cool that WSI and James Romero started 2024 with a legend who's nasty.
Thank you, WSI. Thank you, Jerry.
I have been watching all the individual clips.. But have been waiting for the full interview too post.. Thanks James.
This was a great interview James I watched the whole almost 2hrs from front to back 😼
Jerry Sags was much more eloquent than I would have assumed a nasty boy would be.
Sags went from nasty to classy and he looks like he’s in his late 40’s tops, incredible
Aged a lot better than Brian
Amazing interview! Definitely one of the best yet. Keep on 💎🌊
Incredible interview..we need a part two.. outstanding!
I enjoy listening to this guy
Sags looking the best he's looked his entire career. Knobbs take note
LMAO, but you are correct❤
This is one of your best ever interviews
That was a GREAT interview.
Sags is the F*CKING MAN!!!! TOTAL LEGIT BADASS but probably the most humble dude in the business.
Love hearing Sags alone! Need more of him w/o Knobbs constantly interrupting like in other shoot interviews
Knobs is cool but only works in small doses. He just keeps going on and on, interrupting Saggs until he just gives up. It kills the shoot

This is def a classic shoot interview already
Definitely 👍👍 up of an interview! Sags looks great, glad to see an ole G thats not suffering from deamons . Thanks James for the great interview.
Top notch interview good to see sags doing well
Great interview, 👏👏👏👏
Could listen to another 3 hours of Sags talking…
1:09:00 You repeatedly say the F word but side step saying hell to pay.
Pleasantly surprised by this interview. Great job.
❤ I love this interview. Seen it 5 times and Also Bill Eadie's interview!!
Loved the nasties’ as a kid…always wanted that haircut, but wasn’t allowed to and enjoyed giving my little brother the pit stop! Great to see/hear him so lucid after all those matches.
What a mesmerizing and deep podcast with Jerry.. Awesome ⭐️
This is an awesome interview. Great responses by Sags and i appreciate that he doesnt duck any questions.
The savage-elizabeth fart story is tremondous.
Dude the nasty boys were my favorites to watch in WCW as a young boy ...loved them ...
"god bless you guys and be nasty" i don't believe in god, but that smile at the and warmed my heart ❤ thank you both for this enjoyable interview
Loved the Nasty Boys ❤❤❤❤, Me and my Childhood Friend Jeff looked like them around 1989 in Elementary school, He looked just like knobbs and i looked Like Saggs, Same hairstyles as well ❤
Sags is f#ckin gold!!!
No, if he was gold, great interview, but he wouldn't be doing this
@joeh2236 get a life so negative..sad
@@joeh2236say what!?!
The donut and garlic story is beyond hilarious. The fart on the bus is top notch too!
I call my little fella "Nasty Boy" - yes, im that old my Knob Sags 🙈🤣🤣 waaa waa waa. 🤷🙄
Hands down one of the best
Great interview! Sags is a cool dude with great stories of wrestling when it was at its peak. Nevermind the Shamrock question. GREAT WORK James!!
Nasty Boys have always been a class act. Top five tag team all time in my opinion. I wish they would have had a longer run with the titles. The intro music is still something I think about often.
@5:15 can imagine how that must’ve looked. Flying across the ring 😂
Great interview! Also, you can close your eyes and imagine it's Rick Rubin talking about his impressive wrestling career.
Sags is a really great interview!!
Never was into the Nasty's but after hearing this interview I'm a fan of Saggs. Knobbs just too loud and obnoxious.
Love this interviews
Great interview.
He sounds so much like Bret Hart it’s crazy.
Looking forward to this
I was going to say that the Nasty Boys were on the wcw 93 uk tour with the Arn and Sid incident. I was at the Cardiff show.he mentions it at 1:40:00 mark.

When Sags lost his tooth… 😳
Thanks for that vid
IVE BEEN WAITING FOR THIS FULL INTERVIEW. JAMES I BOUGHT BOTH YOUR BOOKS AND BITH DUTCHES TODAY ON AMAZON
PLEASE TRY TO GET PAUL ROMA ON YOUR PODCAST 🙏🙏🙏
I would have never recognized him if I didn't already know who he was (not a bad thing 😉). Great interview and I'm glad to see he seems to be doing well.
The Fart story is HILARIOUS BUT its Amazing how Vince found a way to make Skags pay for the concord , Thats what I call a GOOD biz Mind
I love the shirt sags has on going to order one
If the Macho Man stories were animated that would be excellent
Sags still looks great. NB are the GOAT tag in my opinion
Jerry tells alot of great stories, he's full of Wrestling knowledge. I watched them first back in the AWA and CWA in Memphis. Jerry, to me, here sounds like Bret Hart.
Yes! Definately have a counter at the bottom of the screen for Ricky!
I have the actual spot in a pic in one of magazines. They even remarked his tooth was lost
What people don’t know….he was 3 points away from a perfect SAT score. He tried military but his ASVAB Score was so high they wanted to make him a General but WWE Called.
The Hatfields and The McCoys was in The Ozarks and Missouri area about a 1000 miles away not west Virginia.
Outstanding. Sags and Shane Douglas have been my favorite shoot interviews for years now
Just met the Nasty Boys at a big wrestling convention and they were the nicest guys there...they would sit there and talk to you for an hour if you wanted. They even asked me to pick out what color pens I wanted for each guy...most wrestlers just sign with black ink over a dark picture and don't even ask
I thought the thumbnail was a timelapse of Sags.
Love these vids and Jerry sounds like bret hart

The master of the Phone slam
Nasty boys should be in the wwe hall of fame and James is wonderful and awesome 👍
Tremendous
jerry sags the man
@WSI I heard a story about the nasty boys getting beat up in Peoria Illinois and their match n may 6 92 was cancelled here
Damn that's exactly how I lost my front tooth
