OK, I've found the original composition this theme is based on. It is the part from 1:12-1:20, but it's the Continue theme, not the Bonus Stage theme.
Can't believe I didn't realize that sooner.
Don't think so. Poison's theme sounds brand new to me and inspired by Final Fight's music but not remotely a remix of anything..
SilverStrumer You're correct about that, actually. Here's the thing: on the official soundtrack release the name for this track is "Theme of Poison" as opposed to "Theme of Poison (USFIV Arrange)." Since the track is original outside of that part I mentioned earlier it would explain why it's not called an "Arrange," but since, as you said, the music is reminiscent of Final Fight and the Continue jingle's composition is incorporated to help the track loop, the argument can still be made by transitive properties that the Continue theme helped inspire the creation of this track.
So funky. best played to uplift your mood. :D

After watching a video about her deal, seems logical Capcom or "Crapcom" as a lot of people like to say, that they remained neutral about Poison. Then announcing about Poison being ambiguous, it's just up to the fans to say what they want in the end. Still a fictional character in the end, but I will agree she's an attractive character with how she dances.

hansser3 her concept art for final fight 1 says new-half. A term for a pre op transsexual, which makes the whole Cis in Japan thing even more confusing , unless they planned it day 1 and it was precaution against what they thought they’d be accused on.

Let's face it, if Poison wasn't considered a 'transgender' character you people won't find anything interesting about her. She'd just be a more bulk Cammy that you won't even touch because she isn't cute enough. Capcom made a smart-move in 2010s era leaving transvestite hints for all you fans to have gender debates and go crazy about.
Actually the original Japanese version of Final Fight had her as a female character. The US version censored this by making her a tranny because they were afraid it would 'offend' people that the main characters were beating up on women. I have no idea if the Japanese still consider it a 'her' or not but be aware this whole shit got started due to Americans and stupid political correctness.

Disagree, that's simply not what I recall from back then. The newhalf/transgender stuff was completely from Capcom of USA back when FF games were still being released/made. In Japan she was simply a thug chick, just like those whip girls in streets of rage. The newhalf crap was completely due to US censors and political correctness. It looks like they tried to go back to it because in Final Fight Revenge she was again referred to as female. But it seems when Capcom of USA got the rights to SF its gone back to the old newhalf crap.

Poison era una mujer que por culpa de alguien en una entrevista de final fight dijo que era un transexual por miedo a parecer que insita la violencia a la mujer, pero mucho mas tarde capcom dijo que lo dejaran si responder para asi esten a gusto los que lo apoyan como transexual tanto como los que apoyan al personaje como mujer... Pero si pensamos que originalmente estaba hecho para ser un personaje femenino que luego un tipo en una entrevista solo le dijo transexual por miedo a ser tachado de mala manera y que solo capcom dijo que lo dejaria sin respuesta... Podriamos decir que el personaje se mantiene como mujer
Poison junto con Roxy desde Final Fight siempre han sido mujeres , esa basura de que es trans solo fue para librarse de los reclamos y críticas al juego por golpear mujeres y por miedo a no ser aceptado así se libraron y después se dio la aceptación por la comunidad trans por lo que después el creador del personaje lo dejo a elección de cada quien por estrategia.
