I owned a 2007 LS460L and now own a 2013 LS460L. I absolutely love the LS, and absolutely believe it’s the best car I ever owned out of 24 different vehicles. The overall quality, reliability, and overall ambience of this vehicle is leagues above 95% of the vehicles on the road today.
People buy the Lexus LS rather than the "competitors" for one reason: RELIABILITY. I've had my LS for 19 years and would never part with it. Yes, there were 2 M-Bs before that and all I can say is, never again.
wholeNwon l.have the Lexus ls430 2001 270000 miles. and the Lexus ls460l 2007. love Lexus car rock solid. reliability never left me stranded on the road. like Mercedes and BMW that l see on the side of the road
That's because we'd been sitting at idle for some time while doing some of the inside video. We usually try to reset the mileage read out when we start driving and just forgot to do it this time.
I think it would be a mistake to get AWD on this. Unless you live in North Dakota. Also, the " competition" they mention are 30-50K more expensive. That and reliability are why people get them.
We got the car, as we get all of the cars we test, from the manufacturer. We only have them for a week. So, as much as we liked it, no, we don't have it. If you look around, you might be able to get a used one for a good price. Just be sure to drive it and get a carfax report on it. Good luck and thanks for your nice compliment.
As we said at the end of the video, it's $80, 630. That is a LOT of money but, obviously, if you're looking at one now, with 5 years of depreciation, the price would be significantly better. So, if you find one in good condition with low mileage, you just might get yourself a good deal. Good luck.

I live in Chicago, and was wondering if you all still had the Lexus? If so, would you like to sell it? Great review. I really enjoyed it.
