- Earlier this year I was thrilled to be invited to take a look on board Benetti's new 145' super yacht called the "Diamond". This new range of yachts promises to be hugely successful for Italy's largest yacht builder, and it's easy to see why!

Oh Man, If I owned this boat I would be on the bridge a lot of the time- I certainly would make the effort to have all the knowledge necessary to manage the Yacht like a boss. It is all in the details of the design and the engineering that makes this Yacht AMAZING>
You my friend are incredibly lucky to have such a job. And to have toured before delivery is an incredibly high honor in my opinion no doubt because of your knowledge and obvious love for what you do. I do get to do what I love every day on little works of maritime art. I think some of your clients need one or two of my vessels for a tender.

well honestly he doesn't need one, the vessel drives itself with the onboard operating system these new yachts have. basicly they set cords and off they go. with the monitoring systems it has its bascily blue toothed to everything for any kind of warning, so outside or pulling into a port you really dont need a driver, so no need for a seat the back rail is for bad weather you dont want to be sitting on your ass during bad weather, plus no way to see over the monitors so no need for it. but i bet theres one behind that stability bar, that he will chill on while the vessel is doing its thing. hell take a nap what ever, these new yachts like i said drive them selfs, all you have to do is dock it. which isn't hard either. just scary. size and water is a touchy thing, i never piloted a yacht but i worked on barges which are far and away bigger then yachts.

Of course, Benetti is at the top of the constructors. But when the presentation is superb, that's a plus.

Hi David. Great video again. Beautiful yacht. Can you ad Visa if the stabilizers were active while you filmed, I notice theres a gentle rise and fall and was wondering if this is what you get when the yacht is stabilised at anchor. Cheers.
Beautiful boat...👌... but watching (some sections of) the video I got the impression that zero stabilizers were nonexistent or at least inactive during filming
And again a wonderful tour of an incredibly beautiful yacht. David Seal is such a good narrator, it's a pleasure to listen him. I have a request and suggestion: You always choose such beautiful music for your videos, but Shazam has no chance of getting a hit when talking without a break. Could you please add a tracklist to each video in the future? So we know artists and titles. Can you tell me which song is played between minute 4:13 and 6:58?
I don't often say this but that....is a BEAUTIFUL yatch. That said, I don't trust bias in reviews that are paid for.

I kept forgetting it's "only" 44m. It seemed way bigger. But then I noticed he never showed us the crew quarters or the galley or even explained how the tender gets in and out. I didn't see a shell door; does that beach club get torn down when you want to launch the tender? He didn't say how many crew or guests, so probably 10 guests compared to the usual 12. I think I see where the space has been saved. And he said "jigayacht" again!

Beautiful yacht. The only thing I didn't like was the bridge. It's more form than function sadly. I would hate to work there.
I know - you're name isn't NICK... but I WOULD liked to have seen the large galley you bragged about and "where exactly" the tender storage was hidden. And even, dare I say it (*gasp*), the Crew Quarters... Even if they were pics and not full walk throughs. But alas, guess we'll have to wait.
All in all though, a good video in your style. 👍

Just curious. Why do they always tend to use those (not sure how to describe them) "padded bars that prop you up" rather than proper seats on the bridge in many super yachts?

Screens are so 20th century. It's time for head-up displays (HUDs) to reach the yachting world. Imagine full height windows with synthetic vision.

The interior is nice. But the bridge, while looks cool, doesnt seem to be very comfortable. I you hit rough weather seems the only thing you can grab on is the steering wheel.
