When I heard that the Benetti 125 Fast "Inspiration" had become available for sale I asked our videographer and producer Maxime Forgin to fly to the Bahamas and film her. Not only did Max do an incredible job of filming and editing, he also took the opportunity to talk to Bob Fritsky, the broker representing her for sale, and Captain Alex Bernhard.

Your video quality never ceases to amaze me. Your production team from the camera angles to editing and sound , along with your fantastic commentary are just documentary level production. Congrats to you and your team.
...is this in anticipation of negative reactions? This is the worst editing, done with the best source video, I've ever seen. Image quality is high, but there are at least 40 instances of freezing, glitching, and color blocking in this video in the first 2:48 alone. This video specifically, is notably one of their only bad ones.

Benetti has built a lot of amazing yachts so that was a very bold statement. However this boat is indeed magnificent and may just be the best Benetti ever built
Lovely video! Gorgeous yacht! Also it's great to hear from people who know the yacht very well and about the key features of the yacht.
It's also great to get to know some of the great people and great characters who have been in yachting seemingly since forever like Mr. Bob Fritsky.
But if I may make a comment here, and when I say this I'm also referring to another newer video, the one about the San Lorenzo yacht, your presence is missed. Your presence and your great passion for yachts is felt and appreciated in the videos you present yourself. It's also inspiring.
I presume that, as your channel grows, you can't be in all places at all times but something is lost by not having you on the yacht and talking to us about it. Some of that connection is lost.

Thanks so much for your comment. This new style of video will not replace the older walk throughs. I am trying to produce more content, but as you rightly observed it's just impossible for me to be in all places at all times. I've taken about 60 flights this year already... I need to learn to "work smart" not just "work hard"!
Rightly so. I agree completely. Just out of curiosity, could I please ask how many days does it take on average for you to film a regular yacht video where you're on board and all? I presume there's work involved after you tour a yacht, such as editing and so on, but just for yourself, how many days on average would you need to dedicate to filming a regular yacht video? Thank you!
Most yachts are one long day of filming and then 3 - 4 days of editing. Sometimes more for a bigger boat (say 50m +). The biggest consumption of time comes from all the travel, so I try to film as many yachts as possible in any one place.

I do like how the aft lower deck is laid out thanks to the pods and I really appreciate being able to see the plans at 4:49, but I prefer your traditional walk-through. Also, how much did you pay the dolphin to swim beside the boat? 🐬
I love a man who wears a crisp white shirt two buttons open, but still wears cufflinks. Bob must have been James Bond's fixer in the Bahamas.
This walkthrough highlighted both what was unique about the boat and the value added from a very experienced broker. As always, the video standard was excellent.
Bob is wonderful on camera, you can tell by his storytelling that he is a good broker.

Only one minor issue I had with the video was the sound, I know my hearing is not as good as it used to be, but the amount of bass in the audio made it harder for me to understand some of what was being said.

I worked on this Yacht back in 2017 when she was named M/Y Skyler. Props to the crew for keeping her looking immaculate!

technological and material advances have really come a long way recently. such large windows and shallow drafts with big volumes, maneuverability, stability, livability. amazing... "your wife wakes up in the morning, her hair's on fire, her makeup is running down her face" gods, what a horror to behold for modern wealthy man! and what is the ludicrous fascination and desire to shoehorn a gym into every boat? are you not getting enough exercise swimming, exploring, and dancing in the sea and sun?
So, agent says the ‘lovely couple’ bought the boat; this being posted on 23 July, 2022 with asking price of $17.5 M. Sold, not sold?
What I want to know (and I'm a guy, so I only know this secondhand) but why is the wife going to bed still wearing makeup? Aren't you supposed to remove that stuff beforehand? And wouldn't it be nightmare on the pillow/bedsheets?
I feel kind of bad for these women known as "the wife". Legally they are yacht owners, but it sounds like they don't get acknowledged as such.
So, other women wake up like that, too?

The featureset is very impressive. It makes this feel much larger than it's 125'. This is one example where being obsessive had a positive result.

David, for production, this video is way over compressed on the audio side. Sounds fantastic on my phone but through the TV soundbar it rattles the speakers when you talk. First time I've noticed it on UA-cam. Just a heads up

Seriously bespoke living arrangements. I didn't even know silk carpets was a thing! Would love to see the technical aspects of the yacht. Wheel house, crew quarters, a real good look at that propulsion system etc. That generator must be good for 100kw. How much we talking 1 million /meter?

As a musiccreator, i am having some issues with the choice of EQ:ing for this video. There is A LOT of bass and treble on it and no mid where the voice lives.
Its so different from any other video from you so i am woundering what happend on this one?! It is ”from my view” not on par with the rest.

What a great video
Lovely yacht! Great video! Love watching these videos and plotting how I'm going to get rich enough to afford one of these. But I'm not sure which type of yacht I would want. I love the layout of Child of Lir (I would immediately repaint it blue). I like how cozy but also spacious Love N Life is. Of course I love a classic sailing yacht like Weatherbird. Like you rightfully said, nothing has the charm and the charisma of an old, elegant classic sailing yacht. And of course I like a yacht that really is fit for hosting even royalty like Blue Moon.
But what about you David? If you could own only one yacht, which type would it be? Do you have any favorites from the many yachts you have filmed?

Beautiful boat.
But, there is still a lot of out-dated talk in the industry; ‘master cabin, his and hers, talking about the wife’s looks (as here in the morning with make-up all down her face); it doesn’t appeal any more. I am the last person to be ‘woke’ but even at 61 I recognise it’s just outdated and alienating. There is nothing wrong with saying ‘principal cabin’ or just say there are two en-suite bathrooms and as for saying the owners wife looks a mess - just don’t!
Stop watching video's like this and get a life . You are the first person to be "woke" 😂😂😂 and that offends a lot of people.

Benetti...the Maserati and Chevy Equinox of the yacht world. Not my cup of tea. She is pretty. But so is an Aston-Martin DBX.
I like the format, the insights from Captain and designer, but I did miss the 'walkabout' with more view of crew areas etc.

The owner had bought a boat before this and had gone through the entire boat building process and then discovered it was a voisy, vibration filled nightmare. Wow !!
